He proceeded to snake the main line from the Outside drain pipe located one foot from the back of the house. When he was done he showed me the water flowing thru the drain. I paid him by check in the amount of $389. About a week later, the same problems started again. Water and sludge backing up into the shower, toilets not flushing and a terrible odor. I called Plumbing Solutions and they sent the same technician out on November 18, 2025. He did not not any work to remedy the problem, but proceeded to explain that A) there was too much water being used at once in the house, B) people are using flushable wipes, and C) the pipes are too small to handle the amount of water and waste. He again showed me the water flowing thru the main water pipe. He did not inspect the inside pipes nor offer any other solution. On November 21, again the same problems arose, I called Plumbing Solutions and was informed by the owner, Dave that if the technician comes out again it would be another $389. charge. He stated that only one follow-up call is allowed per incident. I argued that the problem hasn't been fixed and he advertises Guaranteed work. He dismissed me and stated again that there would be another charge. I declined to pay and he did not send a technician. On November 22, 2025, I purchased a 50 foot long plumbing snake for $54. from Lowes and snaked the main line from the outside drain pipe to the septic tank, hitting resistance at 45 feet and then was able to clear and snake the remaining 5 feet. Since then, there has been no plumbing problems at all. The water in all house drains runs smoothly and all toilets flush without clogging. The owner refuses to refund my money even though he advertises a guaranty and warranty for 30 of his work.

Well Ray got here, barely looked at the problem, said it would be $336 to replace a $20.00 part, and he didn't have the part, although I had told the scheduler it was a leaky valve. And, he couldn't even give me a quote to replace the timer. I had to give him a $71 trip charge for spending all of 5 minutes on my property. Unbelievable how some people can sleep at night.

Unfortunately the installers rushed through the install and paid no attention to sloping the gutters. They blamed the roof edge and drip edge (which are straight/level) for the unlevel look. I got out a 4' level and in a couple sections the gutter was out of level by 1/2" over 4' the wrong way and other areas nearly as bad. I pointed out all the areas I was not happy with and they redid those areas somewhat and ended up with very slightly sloped or level gutters. I would not recommend this company - the homeowner should not have to be the inspector/manager/quality-control for this type of work.

They said "yep, you're on the schedule for today" so I hung up. A few minutes later, we got a call saying "we won't be able to make it today." My husband insisted on speaking with the owner and the scheduler said Sure, and meanwhile can we get you scheduled for Weds (two days later)? We said Sure. There were a few messages left and back fort but come that Wednesday morning, my husband called in and got through to the owner only come to find out yet another scheduling error had happened-- despite the scheduler saying they'd be there, the owner thought we didn't want to be scheduled until we got in touch with them personally (not what we had said or what was told to us; we were told we're on the schedule for Weds). Owner apologized, but it was odd how poor the communication appeared to be between the scheduler and the owner and back again. we had to reschedule once again; which we did. Rufus and someone else (I believe his name was Kevin) were out here working to make sure our gutters were in tip-top shape. They were both personable and knowledgeable. The estimator recommended one thing; but Rufus indicated that removing the existing screening wasn't needed and they had cleaned it thoroughly and also added a splash guard so our super gutters wouldn't have the rain spillover. Because it hasn't rained heavily since, the result remains to be seen, but they indicated if we aren't happy with everything that they'd come out again and fix whatever was wrong.

I have to say, in my opinion it was a complete disaster from start to finish (oh! if it was actually finished). They came out and looked at the roof, and tarped it due to a couple small leaks. I asked over and over for a written estimate, they refused they told me they only go by what the adjuster puts in his report. To me that was odd, the moral of the story is you are not able to shop prices with them, I think I should have been able to get a cash price from them, what does it really matter, in the end they are getting paid immediately anyway. I just could not understand this philosophy, had I not already tarped the roof I would have just went to someone else. So if the insurance estimate was high, they got all the profit and I got nothing out of it. Unfortunately due to it being the hurricane we were all at the mercy of the contractors. I have still to this day never received a receipt, nor have they even bothered to come and finish the interior painting that was included in my insurance estimate. They told me they "didn't work on toilets like mine and I should just replace it." After they left, we had a mysterious flood coming from a broken valve at the toilet and we ended up with water all over our bathroom and into the next room. We called the emergency line 3 times and while the answering service answered, no one called us back. They denied any involvement in damaging the valve, refuse to fix it, and are saying they didn't do it and it was a coincidence that it happened to break after they were at the house. The only solution temporarily is to shut the water line to the entire house. We, therefore, cannot use water, have water under our wood floors, and wet drywall as well. We have used them for various projects over the last 13 years, referred many friends to them, and now we are left with a broken toilet, no water to the entire house (main water line needed to be shut off to stop the flow of water), and a small flood. Come to find out after the fact, 3 others that I know have also had bad experiences with them. After they refused the fix the problem, we had another company come out to fix their mess and, without hesitation, was able to fix the flapper without any issue as well as repair the broken valve. "It's the summer in Florida and I have no access to running water in my house" I decried. As my family entered day 2 of waiting for an authorization approval I sought out real help. A professional that cared to have the staff and expertise available and willingness to offer emergency support services. Jeff's KB&B Plumbing was both the answer and the solution. They answered my after hours call on a Saturday morning. They had a courteous and professional team available to dispatch and diagnose the issues. Thereafter they solved the issue with informative diligence. Every step along the way I was updated. Moreover the fair and reasonable price I was quoted remained the same throughout the process. The plumber replaced the valve and performed by far the neatest work I've ever seen. I explicitly asked the plumber not to clean up afterwards to allow my children the opportunity to participate in the process, but he refused to leave a job undone and not as clean as possible. I have used Harvey Baker Plumbing for almost 20 years and have usually been very satisfied with the…read moreservice. This time was no exception given the technician, Juan, was amazing. He properly took care of an outside faucet issue that was "repaired" previously 24 months before. I noticed my outside faucet was slightly spraying water from the "repair part" recommended two years prior. In April 2024, I called Harvey Baker Plumbing to fix this faucet as it was leaking from the knob at the time. A young gentleman came and said he did not have the part on his vehicle to replace it (something to do with the pipe size), but he could "repair" it. However, I would not be able to turn the water on and off from the faucet knob. He said the nozzle at the end of the hose would serve as the on/off mechanism. When I discovered the current leak, I called and the receptionist said she could get someone out between 12-2 the next day. I explained the previous situation above and said I definitely want the faucet "replaced" this time. She looked up my previous invoice and said she would note on the ticket the faucet should be replaced rather than repaired. Next day, she called again and said she could have the technician come out earlier if I was available. I said I was and Juan came 15 minutes later, a little after 10am. He was a joy to work with, smiling and providing great conversation and expertise! I explained everything and he said he had the necessary part to rectify the leak. He did a great job. When I got the invoice, I noticed the parts only cost $33 compared to the "repair" part of $10. I was surprised the previous gentleman couldn't drive 4 miles to the office to get the necessary part and recommended the "repair" instead. I estimated I could have saved approximately $200 of labor charges had the work been properly completed the first time. I would have requested the previous technician get the necessary part had I known the difference in part costs was minimal. At least the "repair" lasted 2 years. I will probably continue to use Harvey Baker Plumbing in the future, but I'll make sure I request a more seasoned technician like Juan next time. Final note - Harvey Baker Plumbing now charges a 3% credit card fee on the invoice, which was not their practice previously. It was not a big deal to me ($7.75), and I understand a family business would prefer cash or a check. If I have a major plumbing issue in the future, at least now I am aware of the added fee.

I called one other company prior who came out to look at the project and then ghosted me. After researching and looking at reviews, I called Andre at Invictus 12, LLC and left a message. Andre got back with me quickly and was able to come out to look at the work to be performed just a couple of days later. He sent me a quote within just a few hours via email, I accepted and the work was scheduled for three days later (tomorrow). This morning I woke up to a text letting me know they could move the work up a day and they could come out today. Two workers came out and fixed both issues and they look great. The area behind my home was more challenging as it was at the highest pitch of my one story home roof and above the swimming pool screened enclosure. Since the pool is so close to the house, they had to set the ladder in the pool so it would be better angled. They did have to cut through one area of the screen enclosure but and there was no alternative. Payment is cash, check or Zelle. Andre is very nice and responsive to calls and texts. His workers seemed to do a great job...so far it looks great. We will need to have our home painted later in the year and Andre will be out to build a quite fit that project.
