I had no idea that once you start oral progesterone you CANT STOP or you wont sleep at all and it took me 4 months get titrate off of it. They dosed me too high on Testosterone which caused me insomnia, hair loss and temporary high blood pressure. I could not sleep for 2 months while titrating off of the testosterone and stopping the estrogen abruptly and had to take dangerous sleep drugs, ambian, triazodone. and I had to go on high blood pressure meds until I titrated off of it. Then later in the year it took me 4 more months to titrate off the oral progesterone again not sleeping and taking the dangerous sleeping drugs. I also had bad side effects from the estrogen When I told Elise that I was having bad side effects she told me I had 30 days to find another provider. REALLY! How horrible, never helped me at all with this nightmare that she created. I found another provider a GYN medical doctor who knows how harmones work with my health issues, who knew how to titrate me off of them and was much cheaper than this horrible place!!! I hate this place for the suffering I endured. Now I am seeing an awesome GYN and I pay 115 per visit, and am starting testosterone 2mg and Elise prescribed me 10 mg to take 1 or 2 pumps a day REALLY!!! Ladies be very careful and use a GYN not these physician assistants that don't care about anything but your money!!!

They require constant visits, and it feels like nothing but a cash grab. I've been on medication that works great for me. However, when it came time for my refill after 60 days, I was told I had to come in and pay $145--for what? The medication works fine. I followed their instructions back in December, refilled my meds in February, and now it's May and the same issue again. With inflation and the rising cost of living, who can afford to pay out of pocket every time just to get a refill? And let's not even talk about the cost of the prescriptions themselves since I haven't met my deductible. Please explain why an in‑person visit is required for refills within a 60-90 time frame? Every refill requires another appointment, regardless of whether the medication is working. It honestly feels like they are milking patients. I only see these people for one thing yet they want me to come in for other services. Why? I only want to see you for one thing. They then said, I would need to show them proof of getting wellness services else where. Why? I don't have to prove anything to you'll. I only see you for 1 thing. So why the hold up. If the money went toward improving the office, it might make more sense--but the place looks untouched since the day they moved in, likely back in the '70s. It's old and outdated. Trust me--if you value your time and money, go somewhere else. Find a provider who cares more about patients than padding their pockets. GREED IS RUNNING THIS OFFICE.

Recently came in because of some type of infection.. that we assumed to be flu or something else. Booked at a 1 o'clock window to find that no one was there to greet me.. guess they sent everyone on lunch at the same time. The nurse and staff were nice overall and took care of me.. but I presume that was the case to attempt to take advantage of me. Ended up being Flu A positive and 5-6 days into my infection so didn't need a lot of dire recommendations for how to handle it. Well, the best part *sarcastically* was that this office sent an invoice of $1,200 just for a covid, flu and strep testing plus "time with the doctor" (which was only 20 mins). Currently have a filed grievance through my insurance against this office for charging an $800 flu/covid test that I didn't agree to ... and everyone should heed warning and avoid them. My husband and I are currently in the process of finding not just a doctor that suits me but to get him far away from them as well.

Melayna runs the office so smoothly; we didn't have to wait to see the doctor nor on our next visit to visit Melanie, the nutritionist. She too was impressive and gave us great info including recommendations that were pretty simple to implement right away. I have to give them five stars for their medical professionalism and how closely they monitored me during the procedure. Everything went smoothly with the actual injection, and I was carefully watched for about two hours afterward, mainly to track my blood pressure, which tends to spike after this kind of treatment. But unfortunately, it was my experience in the recovery room that was truly awful. After the second injection, I started feeling pretty overwhelmed. I was dizzy, nauseated, emotionally raw, and really vulnerable. Some people experience emotional releases after this procedure, and I certainly did--crying, mood swings, the whole bit. While the staff had informed me that this was common, instead of feeling cared for, I felt disregarded. The nurse assigned to my care, Dawn, was incredibly dismissive. I asked for simple things to help me feel more comfortable, like a blanket because I felt cold, a pillow to put under my knees, and for the loud music in the recovery room to be turned down, but she just responded with annoyance, saying, "You'll have to give me a minute. I'm a nurse first," and then ignored all of my requests. The vibe from her had me feeling like I was bothering her just by needing basic care. Being in such a stripped down and vulnerable state, it reinforced early feelings of powerlessness and shame at needing care. It was honestly traumatic. Additionally, once my blood pressure stabilized, they told me I could go. No one checked in with me to see how I was doing or told me what to expect next. I had to ask the receptionist what I should do after leaving, and she told me I'd get a follow-up call the next day--which never came. That left a really bad taste in my mouth. The whole experience felt a bit like a medical assembly line--efficient, but without any emotional care or empathy. If SPM could improve their approach and better address the non-medical needs of their patients, it would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, because of the way I was treated afterward, I left feeling worse than when I arrived, which was really disappointing, and so easily avoided.
