I called to inquire on this 2025 Honda crf110f for their asking price online at $2,366, they then proceeded to tell me that the bike is priced 3 times higher "6,856 to be exact". Which they've only put around $1500 worth of parts on the bike and think the bike is worth almost 7k now. They're posting false advertisement on their products just to try to wheel people in and try to up charge you. Basically scamming which is very illegal. Definitely wouldn't waste your time with this dealership. Bunch of scammers. read more

This is a letter of recommendation to anyone within driving distance to DFW Honda in Grapevine, Texas or Dallas Fort Worth area. I live in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area. That's about 1000 miles away although the Dallas Fort Worth is five minutes away. I had a friend who bought a trike there. He lives in Florida. I asked him, why would you do that when there are so many good dealers in Florida? He replied, they specialize in trikes, they're honest and easy to deal with, they just ship the bike to you no matter where you live. So, based on his recommendation, I bought my bike from them also. wouldn't you know it, the bike developed a problem, I took it to not one, but two dealers in Wisconsin. They couldn't figure it out. I called DFW's store manager, Nick. He was apologetic for the problem. He sent a trailer and a driver to Wisconsin, they took the bike back to their dealership and had it fixed within a few days.. now that was five years old and the factory warranty was up. They still fixed it for free and paid for all the shipping and dealer bills that I collected in Wisconsin. Now I said that I should have bought a new. bike But it was more cash than I wanted to. lay out.Nick said to me because we care about our customers I'm going to make you an offer you won't want to refuse. So for a minor cost, he delivered a brand new bike to me and he even included a radio intercom for my helmet.while , this transaction may not have been profitable for DFW. They demonstrated how to run a fair and honest business. DFW Honda has been the best buying experience I ever had ,even though there was a problem. PS. Do not waste your time dealing with this dealership. They charge over MSRP due to current supply and demand circumstances. They also have terrible communication skills. They will have a motorcycle sold and not tell their sales rep, which leads customers like myself to waste the drive and time to meet them in person only to find out there was a miscommunication regarding inventory. They also will tell you to send over two proofs of identification in order to receive an invoice for a bike via email, only to not follow through and leave you in the dust. Maxim Honda in Allen is much better dealership to work with. Learn from my mistake and stick to the higher rated dealerships. read more

After losing my leg in 2011 due to a rare aneurysm it was doubtful I would ever ride a bike again. However, while discussing my disappointment with several trusted friends; they encouraged me to explore the option of a trike. Although I appreciated their intentions, I still needed to overcome the challenges associated with shifting the bike. We played around with a lot of options. Ultimately the Honda DTC Motor Trike was the answer. Chad made it happen - he made sure every technical, performance, and fit question was answered. His knowledge of the Honda DTC Trike is overwhelming. It as if he is part of the trike's DNA. Let's talk about the amazing guys in parts. Dave, Bart, and King - Whatever your need these guys will get you the right part the first time with the knowledge along with it. King invested all of the time necessary to make sure I had an excellent-quality helmet and communicator, going the extra mile to guide me through the proper use and operation of both. And seriously, how many shops can you show up at 5:30 (they close @ 6) - Jacob and Jason teamed up to look over the trike, made a few quick adjustments, renewed my inspection and send me on my way the same day. Called this morning and verified they had a Honda SuperCub 125 in stock for my wife. We were told it was there. I let the salesman Roy know that we couldn't leave our home until 1 PM today and asked him to take a deposit on it. Roy informed me that it was "illegal" to take a non-refundable deposit and would only hold it when we informed him we were driving there letting us know that it was first come first serve. Laughable! Our home is about an hour away from the dealership. Completely unprofessional. Driving to Chapman Honda in Paris Texas to pick a new one up now. Drove two hours because they have the largest inventory around. Didn't have the ATV I wanted at the shop, the owner went and got it from the warehouse while I finished my paperwork. My sales guy was pretty solid, but had a lot of customers at one time which was frustrating but the sales manager took care of me so I didn't feel too left out. Ended up buying a light blue rancher and a green rubicon. Service was fairly fast and these guys did their level best to accommodate my needs and timeframe. Since this motorcycle was so rare I had no choice but to buy this one since I couldn't find another. Correspondence to arrange shipping was sketchy and they kept telling me what I wanted to hear. Motorcycle arrived with missing cover on right side, so had another 3 weeks of BS to deal with. In September, 2022, I bought a 2018 Honda Gold Wing Motor Trike from DFW Honda by phone. I was assured that the trike was in new condition and had been throughly checked out by the mechanic and was ready to ride. I flew in and was going to ride it back to Washington State. Got the paperwork done and a quick check out on the trike and was on my way. At my 1st stop I found out that the parking brake did not hold. I immediately called DFW and they said that I must have been riding with the parking brake on. I wasn't riding with the parking brake on! For the rest of my trip I used rubber bands to hold the front brake and keep it from rolling when I wanted to park. When I got home and was looking through the paper work I found that the trike had been in an accident. This was not mentioned during our dealings. The repair order was in the paperwork. I kept trying to adjust the parking brake and was not successful. While trying to repair the parking brake, I dismantled it and found that metal shims had been installed where the brake pads should be, instead of replacing the brake pads. DFW Honda deceived me and lied to me. If a Honda dealership can't even replace brake pads or inform you that you are buying a trike that has been wrecked, then I wouldn't recommend them. This $42,000+ trike only had 1401 miles on it and we naively trusted this dealership. Who knows what else we will find wrong with this expensive trike. I'm attaching a picture of the shim. We feel really ripped off by DFW Honda and regret ever doing business with them. Beware! read more

Sold me a 2022 Goldwing. After a month of riding, I was adding a back rest to my bike and I noticed the bolts to hold the seat in place had not been installed. When I called DFW Honda, they did not think this was a problem a repeatedly told me the bike was safe. Just so you know, Honda the corporation does not agree with this. They said they would bring me the bolts tonight, but have still not shown up, and this was after them telling me to bring my bike to them, all the way across Dallas. DFW Honda sold me an incomplete bike, didn't think it was unsafe and had to be cajoled in to doing the right thing. I will never do business here again read more

Offered $6500 OTD on a bike they had listed at $5900. I had planned on full price plus $369 for tax and $231 for the tag. My offer was turned down and they wanted $7000 OTD. Fuzzy math as far as I'm concerned. The funny thing is they had entered in their computer that I had offered 7k for the same bike several months previously. What difference that could possibly make baffled me because it wasn't relevant. I had offered 7k on a similar bike but not the one I had just made the offer on. They had dropped the price was the only reason I had gone to check out the bike. Needless to say , I walked. read more

I came to DFW Honda with a bike already picked out. I know the bike that I have, I know the condition of it, I know the values, and I had a numbers deal in mind for me to walk out TODAY with the new bike. ***THIS IS NOT AN ARGUMENT ON THE VALUE OF MY TRADE IN AT ALL as we were only $500 off on of my trade in value that I had in mind*** My problem is the strange fees. To start.. they are charging a service fee ("PREP") ON TOP of the retail price of their used bike. That prep fee is $700 taxable. I wanted a 2020 Africa Twin Adventure Sports manual trans... A bike in their showroom with drop damage that has been there for M A N Y months. The bike I am trading in is the EXACT SAME BIKE WITHOUT DROP DAMAGE just a base model (not an Adventure Sports) with literally just 2 or 3 miles difference on the odometers!! Not 2 or 3 thousand.. JUST 2 or 3! Then they want a titling fee of OVER $500!! Thats not including sales tax. That brought the "OK" priced 3 year old 6000 mile bike with drop damage WELL out of it even being considered "OK" pricing. They did not consider my trade in value tax credit in the numbers they were giving me, making it seem even farther apart than we actually were, even after I asked to see that. Fishy maybe I wouldn't have gotten the tax credit. I came in ready to buy this bike (GIVEN THAT MY TRADE IN IS AS I DESCRIBED IT TO THEM) Which was also an argument. It was a windy day and I did not want to ride on our unsafe highways at risk of not making a deal here. I represented my bike as needing absolutely nothing, I took 30 photos of it before I came in to show my salesman, who couldn't care less, and did not want to see them. I told them "If my bike is not as described we will deal with it when you see it" And he kept repeating to me that they haven't even seen my bike yet and it could need TIRES and MAINTENANCE and all this stuff. IT DOESN'T! After I told him I had almost $500 dunlop trailmax premium tires on it, he used THAT example. My bike is fully serviced and them telling me it needs anything AT ALL would have been unacceptable. So they would have negotiated accordingly to my bike needing maintenance, then put it up for retail, and double charge the next buyer with "PREP" fees FOR THAT MAINTENANCE! (That it doesn't need) At the end of my visit the numbers we had were over $6000 difference. Not the $3700 that was fair before the fees. Fees that lost them a sale. YOU DON'T GO BUY A USED CAR AND HAVE THE DEALERSHIP TELL YOU.. "Oh well the price of the car is $10,000 as advertised online and on the showroom floor..BUT we put new tires on it, changed the oil, changed the coolant so now its $12,000" WHAT?! Absolutely not. Then they want to act like people are knocking down their doors to come in and pay these fees. THEY ARE NOTT! NOT AT ALL! Where I bought my Africa Twin 6 months ago.. they moved 5 similar bikes in less than 2 weeks, and I enjoyed the numbers and the sales experience. No insane fees on used bikes. just the SALES PRICE PLUS TAX! At the same time of shopping around I had stopped by THIS dealer. THEY STILL HAVE ALMOST EVERY BIKE I SAW 6 MONTHS AGO! THEY ARE NOT SELLING ANYTHING BECAUSE OF THIS RIDICULOUS BUSINESS PRACTICE! They had the nerve to tell me.. "Every dealer charges this stuff on everything that they sell" OK THATS WRONG. VERY WRONG. I have been a part of 5 different retail power sports transactions that did NOT have charges like this. Don't lie to me. I am ALWAYS looking and if I see something I like I want out the door numbers on it. I ask many dealers often for the breakdown. I know what I'm talking about. This is one of just a few dealers local to me with this business practice. And guess what.. THOSE DEALERS DON'T HAVE GOOD SALES! The people there are unpleasant. I did NOT enjoy the confrontational attitude of my salesman Merlin. Nor the lady at the desk trying to justify their ridiculous fees. This was an absurd experience. That was the EXACT bike I wanted. I went to many of the Honda motorcycle dealerships in Dallas to buy a new gold wing tour and all but two dealerships totally ignored me. Garret at DFW Honda greeted me on a phone call and told me they had a couple on the floor so I went to check them out. From the time I entered the front door I was greeted by friendly faces...not so at any of the other dealerships...and Garret was quick to come and talk to me and he even remembered my name from a 30 second phone call. I was offered water and as we talked he took me to the bike I was interested in and began to show me all about it. Then he went to have my trade evaluated and took me to the parts department where the gentleman showed me new helmets, inter one system and riding gear. Bottom line, they treated me like a king. If you've ever been treated badly at a dealership or just ignored....then go to DFW Honda and be catered to. Can't say enough.
