He listened to my concerns and right away took X-ray and confirmed his hunch. I had an infection that other dentist I saw the day before him missed (actually saw other dentist Friday, Monday and Tuesday). Right away he got me antibiotics and referred me to oral surgeon to discuss extraction. The staff was super friendly. They listened to my ordeal and worked me in. The assistant was gentle (my mouth hurt because of all the filing other dentist did and the infection) and didn't hurt me. They made me feel welcomed there. The office is super clean with music that's pleasant and soothing. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. They've won my business. I was like "hush and take my money" then they said ins covered it 100% lol. If they already had that information--or could have requested it--why repeat it? It felt unnecessary, especially knowing I'm a cash-paying patient. After going through all the paperwork, the large fee was only disclosed at the very end, which is completely unacceptable. When I addressed it, the manager argued and claimed their staff always discloses fees. That simply didn't happen. It became my word against theirs. I was told this would be a consultation to discuss the cost of a procedure--not an unexpected charge for services I didn't clearly agree to. Very misleading and disappointing experience.
