From the first appointment, they were patient, pulled some great options and helped out all my bridesmaids too. I had been to several bridal boutiques and just didn't find what I liked. They had a great selection and I had 3 of my bridesmaids get their dresses there too. They custom made my straps, ordered the lace from the supplier and called me as soon as it was in to start constructing them. I had a very specific vision and they helped bring it to life. Then came the dress fittings with Julie, she is one of the owners mother and she has the perfect eye to tailor that dress to fit you to a T. She was patient, fast, knowledgeable and so talented. We even brought our grooms suits there to have it tailored by Julie. I've had a wonderful experience there and would recommend it to all brides. It's not a fancy place bu any means but it's not pretentious either. I posted some photos because it was a labour of love from the girls at Saratina. Thank you Sara, Tina, Mandy and most of all Julie, my hubby loved the dress and it fit the France wedding wonderland.

And while I really don't like salespeople hovering over me, I'd still like help when needed (i.e. to have access to a change room when I find something I like). I arrived for my appointment on time, and didn't receive help/wasn't able to try anything on until 45 minutes later. It wasn't that the salesperson was intentionally avoiding me - it was honestly because there were too many people present at the same time, and she couldn't take me on right at my appointment time. But, the saving grace of this store were two things for me: a) their type of selection (you won't have David's Bridal type dresses here - some of the dresses were actually quite nice and unique) and b) their prices. Their off-the-rack dresses were 50% off the ticket price when I visited (mostly around Size 4 to Size 6), which I appreciated. I wanted a very luxe dress but with a not-so-luxe price, and this place actually had a decent collection at a reasonable price point (many under $1000). So, while their selection may be worth checking out, keep in mind that the store is very small and staff is limited, so visit with caution. Also note that the parking lot is super small/tight.

She used to take a lot of stuff to Josy's a few years back and although she hasn't popped in in the last few years, she suggested we try her for our alteration needs, especially considering the shop is near where we live. Given the service we received, I'm sad to say we won't be patronizing this establishment ever again. The one lady on the floor was on the phone the entire time and although she clearly saw us come in, didn't so much as nod in our direction to acknowledge that we were there. Not a quick "I'll be with you in a minute", nor a smile. Nothing. And it didn't sound like an important business conversation from where we were standing. The lady on the upper level (whom we presume to be Josy) eventually asked if she could help us after a good three or four minute wait. After inquiring about wedding dress alterations, she asked if we had purchased it there and when we replied in the negative she said that they "usually don't do that". She then quickly changed her tune, claiming that her seamstress (who was supposedly on vacation) MIGHT be able to do it "if she had time" after altering dresses purchased there and to call back in a month (!!) when she was back from vacation. Now I'm not sure if this is the standard with most fashion places / seamstresses but I can tell you that Jean's Fashions (right down the road) was more than happy to help us out....they were actually happy to have our business and didn't treat us with contempt or indifference. I'm not sure if both ladies were perhaps just having a bad day or what but that's really beside the point. Isn't the customer king or queen? We're a pretty respectable looking young couple but even if we weren't, I still wouldn't expect such surly service. You had more than a fair chance to get our business but you lost it quite quickly!

Very easy communication. Let me tell you, Anna is the sweetest! She's soft spoken and very accommodating. She provided same day service for the mother of the bride, for the wedding I'm a part of. I had my dress done within 2 weeks. She would have had it done sooner but my fault, I forgot my shoes when I came for my initial visit. So I had to go back a second time. She works from home and her little workshop is set right in the front of her house, as soon as you walk in. Great customer service here, don't think you'll be disappointed.

I then came to Anna and Qobolla after reading reviews online. They were so welcoming and understood my issues. They were very patient in explaining to me the fabric I have to get. They worked on the gown for just $500 in total. Even when I was satisfied with the gown, they looked into the details and fixed it. They are extremely detail oriented, very skilled and reasonably priced. I'm extremely satisfied with my gown and their service. I would recommend to go to them for any type of alterations, even ones with a lot of work or complicated. They did a very very good job on my gown.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE- Ferre holds you hostage after taking your money for a deposit and treats you like an inconvenience rather than a customer. AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want to be served by clerks who are not properly trained and want to make a quick sale. YOU WILL NEED TO FIGHT TO PICKUP YOUR DRESS ON A WEEKEND - the store will ask you to come during the week or offer you a time outside the open hours of the store, as they reserve weekend appointments for sales appointments Purchase I really wanted to love this store. Reasonably priced nice dresses...but the positivity stops there. I ended up purchasing a dress with a low back but was advised by the clerk who served me that it would be an easy and simple alteration to raise the back 2-3 inches to cover a tattoo. The clerk admitted she didn't know the exact cost but said that it likely wouldn't be much since it only had to come up 2-3 inches. Fast forward a few months and I was quoted $960.50-$1367.30 (depending on what option I selected) for what was supposed to be a "simple" alteration that wouldn't cost that much. Keep in mind this quote for alterations did not include standard alterations for length, bust, waist etc. When I asked the store to break down the expense for me by providing the hourly rate of the seamstress and to explain why it cost so much they said they couldn't comment. When I spoke with the manager she apologized and advised that not all of the clerks are properly trained to advise in alterations.....and offered me $200 off...which isn't even a 10% discount to cover HST on the most expensive option. The issue was never resolved by the store as I declined their tailoring services and will be going to a much more reasonable and transparent tailor. PICK UP If you work during the week like most people, expect to be treated like an inconvenience if you want to pick up your dress on the weekend. When I was told my dress had arrived, I was asked when during Monday-Friday I could pick up my dress. Seeing as I work and have to fight rush hour traffic to get to the store that was not an option. I was told that the clerk would need to seek management approval for me to come on a weekend...I was then offered appointment times before the store even open and when I asked why I was being offered times outside when the store was open I was told that it was in fact with in business hours because the clerks come in early before the store opens. Long story short my request to come on a weekend when the store is open was finally accommodated after much back and forth.

The lady working there was very nice, she let us look on our own and was always there to help you clip up your dress if you needed to which is especially nice since some boutiques have the workers breathing down your neck. The place is really clean, you have to leave your shoes at the door and there's a little basket of slippers underneath one of the chairs for you to use. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands.
