I ended up being assigned to Dr. Miracle Wangsuwana , a neurologist. Before making the appointment I asked several questions because I was very wary about being seen at a medical school. My health is bad. I don't have the luxury to be anyone's practice dummy. I was assured that because of my request the students would not be involved personally. They would just view my medical information. They would not be in the room. I made sure I had my cardiologist send over all my information, tests, and files before the appointment. I arrived 30 minutes before my first appointment to fill out the new patient paperwork. I was called back before I was done (about 20 minutes before my appointment time). I took the paperwork with me. I was weighed and then taken to the exam room. The doctor came in with a student and told me that she would be involved in my care. I should have left at this point because they couldn't honor a simple request. The doctor asked me why I was there. I have been under the care of a specialty cardiologist for about a year. I explained the testing that I wanted (that I haven't had yet). He told me he isn't a heart doctor. Yeah, I was never confused about his specialty. My condition is neurological. Some people with it just see a cardiologist to manage it, some see a neurologist, some see both. Since I haven't been able to control my health with just the cardiologist I am willing to try to get help from a neurologist. This was an epic fail. He refused to consider the testing even though it is the standard with neurologists for my condition. He begrudgingly ordered an MRI and an EEG. He then told me he couldn't give me any prescriptions-uh, I NEVER asked for any and told him I would have refused any from him. I asked for tests and he couldn't even get that right. The only exam he gave me was following his finger with my eyes and being smacked with the reflex hammer. After I left, I thought about how dismissive and insulting the doctor seemed. I ended up cancelling the tests and follow up appointment. I'll find another doctor. Being sick is hard enough. I'm not going to beg someone that is being PAID to help me, to do their job.

They were sending a referral to another surgeon. I called back today to tell them the new surgeon hasn't recieved my referral. THEY HAVE NOT SENT IT! THIS IS A FAIRLY IMPORTANT SURGERY! I am in a lot of pain. This place is not safe, if I could give less than one start I would. RUN, run to any other practice! I understand that things happen, but one and a half hours after my scheduled appointment I was still in the waiting room. They finally came in and said the dr was stuck in the monsoonlike rain, ok, but for 1.5 hours?? He came in, and actually thinks he knows the problem! Then he got me some STAT testing, well in 24 hours but better than the two weeks originally offered. They had forgotten to get my vitals, again no biggie except we were heading into hour two here. The waiting room is clean, the tv was on. The day before my surgery they called to say they were mistaken, they do NOT take my ins, surgery canceled. I asked what should I do, she didn't know, didn't really care, pretty much hung up on me. So, here I sit in the Urgent Care, hoping a doctor will step up and fix me before the pain kills me.

I tried to transfer here because this clinic accepts my new insurance. Unfortunately, they told me clients from my previous clinic are not accepted here. Very interesting. I saw a lot of great reviews so I am surprised that my transfer was blocked for vague reasons. I don't need to know reasoning as I will be looking elsewhere, but it's good for other prospective patients (or clients as they were referred to over the phone) to know!

I was put off by the medical boxes sitting on the dirty ground in front of the office, weeds sprouting through the concrete, and dirty looking exterior. That should have been my cue to leave, but I figured I should not judge a book by its cover, especially since I'd traveled so far across town. Upon entering, I noticed the inside looked dusty and unkept as well. The front desk agent had no record of an appointment with me and asked if I booked with a medspa. I showed her the series of text confirmations, and she kept getting frustrated and walking to the back offices. The office is oddly configured, and the access to the medical offices is wide open, which was another red flag from a privacy/ cleanliness standpoint. I ended up walking out due to a lack of coordination and cleanliness standards. Don't waste your time here. If they can't keep an office clean and inviting, I can't trust them to use clean tools on my body.

I'm extremely chronically ill and have been to so many doctors it's impossible to count. This place is by far the most bullshit "clinic" I have ever been too, and I clocked that at 17. I have been to multiple Natural Doctors since that actually know what they are talking about and did find the source of my health issues and are addressing it properly. If I could give a zero I would. Dr Matzinger is not what she portrays herself to be. She tells you…read morethat she is going to " get to the root cause " of why you are not feeling well. Get ready to pay thousands of dollars to feel worse! She put me on a wellness plan that I followed exactly only to start to feel extremely sick. We did have check in calls every few weeks in which I told her I did not feel well at all. She only adjusted a couple of prescriptions and then said let's talk in two weeks. Every time we spoke I told her that I feel worse. She never asked about my diet or took a look at the supplements she put me on. This went on for six months until she finally said that I was due for more bloodwork. When part of it came in I asked the front desk to email it to me. They sent it to me and my results were worse than when I started with her. I decided then that I was not going back to her and will seek another doctor for help. When I asked for the second part of my bloodwork to be sent to me (paid $100 for this), the front desk said that they cannot send it to me and that I have to come in to have the doctor review it with me for an hour. I told them that I paid $100 for this and that I have the right to receive my results. They said this is Dr Matzinger's policy. Dr. Matzinger called me the next day and told me because I got upset with her front desk over this, she would part ways with me. I then told her I had no intention of coming back because she did absolutely nothing for me except make me feel worse! I told her that I never was given anything to sign stating this policy of refusing to give customers their records and it was unethical. I tried to give her feedback but she kept interrupting me and acted like she didn't care. I literally had ask her to let me speak. Finally in the end of our conversation, she contradicted herself my saying that she always gives patients their records and that she just wants to be able to explain the results to them before they see them. This is not what her front desk told me the day before. I told her I just wanted my records and did not want to come in to see her. In the end she said she would email me my records which she did. Maybe she should think about her patients health first instead of thinking about how much she can make off them.
