This place offers a comprehensive range of services, including acupuncture, massage, and natural supplements. I was amazed by how friendly and helpful everyone was, from the front desk to the practitioners. If you're on the hunt for a naturopathic hub that combines expert care with a welcoming atmosphere, look no further. The Village Health Clinic is my new go-to, and it might just become yours too!

The first time I had an amazing Physiotherapist who used a combination of stretching and strengthening exercises as well as acupuncture. The problem was solved. The second time the person I dealt with was useless only giving me one stretching exercise to repeat over and over. I was told I needed to keep coming back indefinitely even though the problem wasn't improving. I could have done the exercise at home daily for free with the same result. I should have been told that the problem would resolve itself over time but they wanted my money from repeat visits. The third time the physiotherapist was experienced and helpful but lacking in kindness and interpersonal skills. She was blunt and insulting, referring to people over 40 as old and lazy even though I'm active and walk at least 30 minutes a day. My issue required more than 2 weeks to fix. She had given her 2 weeks notice before I started. So they knew that I'd have to start over with someone else when I made my first appointment. I didn't find this out until her last day at work. Her replacement was fresh out of school with no experience and not helpful at all. The location is on level 3 of the Promenade Shopping Centre. There's an elevator near the entrance by Customer Service. There's adequate parking.

I felt like she was really interested in fixing what ailed me and not just giving me another massage. Still after all that, the massage was awesome, though short because the evaluation took so long. I received a little welcome package with epsom salts and some more information - which was actually helpful. When I tried to give her a tip, she asked simply for recommendations which is what this is for! If you has a hurt and live in the area, I recommend going there. They offer other treatments besides massage so you can come out feeling like a star!

You can find appointment like 2 weeks later ( I can only do evenings so that's my constraint). She is very thorough, starts with detailed questions, understands your need and where to focus. You can choose which oil/scent to be used, if you want heat on or not ( recommended having it on in winter times! Feels sooo warm and sound) She does an outstanding job with massaging too, I feel like a cloud after each session. They do direct billing to my insurance as well ( Manulife) Overall very happy with them!

I was having trouble finding a new person as so many places have closed and so when I found him I was delighted. He was great about asking me a lot of really important questions at the beginning of the session to make sure we got the most out of it. He also really wants to help you feel better and not just rub your body with lotion. He really wants to find your trouble areas and help to release the tension that might be there and give you better range of movement. I've had two sessions with him and both of them have been wonderful.

Which is pretty cool, as some times you need to warm up before a physio session. So I cant give a full review as I went in on a Saturday morning, when they weren't in full operation. I love that you are still able to make massage appts on the weekend. the only thing is there is noone at the front desk, so whomever is doing your massage will do your intake and such. Which isnt bad just be sure to arrive a bit early so you're able to fill out any forms if required. the RMT that we went w is Mariya I believe is how she spells it. She is amazing. Lots of great advice, she is very sweet, and makes you feel very comfortable. An issue I had in the past at my previous physio place was the RMT (female), wasn't massaging deep enough or not enough force I guess. To the point where it felt as though she was just rubbing my back. I am so glad to say not here, Mariya really got in there and worked my muscles, my back felt so good after just one massage. I've already scheduled my next appt and one for my bf. See you soon! Will update my review once I'm able to go on a week day.

All have been, and continue to be - outstanding. The owner, Suzanne Brown, is very knowledgeable, with a fun personality, a big heart, and a wicked determination to 'straighten you out'. She is very generous with services, and doesn't charge extra for treatments like ultrasound. She's old- fashioned, and puts people before profit, and you feel that while you are there. She even sends out birthday cards to all of her clients with hand-written messages. Suzanne is very picky about whom she allows to work in the office. Nick, the current massage therapist, has a varied background and gives the best massages I have ever had. Barb, the current naturopath, is pleasant and knowledgeable. She has a special interest in nutrition, has an encyclopedic knowledge of nutrients and supplements, and has loaned me her personal materials so I wouldn't have to buy them. Rodica, the receptionist and chiropractic assistant, can come across as a bear if you don't know her, but she's actually a pussycat with her own special brand of humour. There are a few new people,as well. I haven't worked with any of them so can't describe my experience but as I've said, Suzanne is very picky. My first impression going there as a client was that I would be safe and well cared for, and the years have proven this to be true. No flash, just genuine, talented caring. But you don't want to start going there - it will make it harder for me to get appointments!
