Same as others - "delivery failure", "exception" - nonsense words I don't even understand.

Failed to deliver the package as the address was incorrect. The address was actually completely correct. Finally delivered after 3 weeks to the "incorrect address". Customer service is so poor I can only assume this is deliberate corporate strategy. Website is also miserably poor. Phonecalls disconnect. cannot redirect packages, will not acknowledge communication. They should be ashamed, but being ashamed seems unlikely as they would have to care about their customers........ Pity I cannot give zero stars? We have to use Correos Express from Spain to routinely have such miserably poor service. read more

DHL in Portugal are terrible. They lie ("delivery was not possible" OR "delivery was refused"). They don't answer their 'phones. It is impossible to change delivery dates online. They have now sent my parcel back to the sender in a different country, even though they appear to have tried to deliver it just once. They did not leave any note for me. Frankly, I do not believe they even came to my address yesterday. This is utterly shameful for a big company with a worldwide reputation. read more

Horribly disappointed with the service. I was about to receive a gift , waiting 2 weeks cause they keep it in stock while requesting endless explanations why what how much is it all worth etc. TWO DAMN WEEKS I am sending emails, calling, texting with their incompetent employees who just keep sending me from one to another. When I said I don't want the package anymore and requested for them to send it back, what did they do? ASKED ME TO SEND A FUCKING EMAIL WITH AN EXPLANATION WHY. Why, Dhl Lisbon? WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DHL Portugal has provided the worst service ever. My package arrived in Portugal on July 24, 2017 and as of today (August 14) I still haven't received it. DHL did not notify me of the arrival of the package, I had to call myself the useless customer service in order to arrange the delivery after checking the tracking link. DHL asked me to pay import duty taxes but never sent me a formal invoice via email with a detailed breakdown of costs. I have phoned and emailed DHL on a regular basis (4-5 times a week for the past 3 weeks) and still not received the necessary documentation in order to pay the import duty taxes. Furthermore they are charging me storage fees which is RIDICULOUS! Get back to my emails and phone calls! WHERE IS MY PACKAGE????? read more

I have a client who has papers being sent from Portugal to the US for settlement of their home outside of Philadelphia. I advised them to use UPS but because DHL was right near them where they lived they used them. They dropped off the papers at DHL in southern Portugal and it was delivered to Lisbon for a flight to the US with overnight delivery. First, their site stated it was accepted in Lisbon. Then status changed to "on hold". After I made 4 phone calls in the US to DHL (no one could explain why is was on hold) the client finally reach DHL in Lisbon who found the package in their customs inspection bin (this was a shipping envelope provided by DHL). They were assured about three hours ago it would be on the plane for shipment tomorrow to the title company. It STILL hasn't been updated on their sight. Settlement is in two (2) days. What's up with that, folk??? Geez...horrible service and absolutely the WORST training I've ever seen. read more

TERRIBLE! DHL Portugal was terrible. I don't recommend it to anyone. 1)Only because I'm tracking the delivery, they updated it saying "Delivery attempted. The person was not in the house". They never rang the bell of my door. How am I suppose to know they are passing by my house if they don't ring?? 4 times in a row. Didn't even leave any note inside my mail box. (I'm almost sure they didn't even pass by my door, but yeah...) 2)Customer Services (that i had to call to and waste money) told me that they were notified that the deliver guy/girl couldn't leave a note in my mail box because they "ran out of notes....because it's Christmas, you know? Many deliveries...". This was the answer I got. Unbelievable. 4 days passing by my house (they say). 4 days that they didn't have a note to leave inside the mail box. 3)Delivery guy from DHL calls me on the 4th day asking me my address (but they told me they were passing by my house for 4 days....how come is this guy asking me my address now..? I thought you had it, right?..). Tells me that he will try to put it inside my mail box. I'm guessing it will not fit. If it does, why the heck would they pass by my house for 4 days without putting the package inside the mail box...? The package fits perfectly. And this is it. Conclusion: they never even saw the package I ordered, if it was small or big. They never tried to ring my door. They didn't have notes. They didn't know my address..... .... they were rude and irresponsible. Never again. read more
