I first reached out to Dhoom for my fusion Indian-American wedding. My husband and I wanted a DJ that could easily switch between top 40s and Bollywood so that all our guests had a good time. I love to dance, and my husband and I knew that we wanted to have the best music for our reception. We hired Dhoom Events based on their great reputation, and they went above and beyond our expectations. DJ Milin was professional and prompt to respond to my multitude of phone calls and emails. He provided great suggestions for entrances. Given our busy work schedules, Milin made appointments at my house to make it more convenient for me. He even offered to format our table seating electronically so we could project it. Milin also made us a CD to play music through the sound system of our venue during the lunch. Our wedding planner also said it was refreshing to work with Milin since he spoke to her directly about specifics of our event, e.g., the size of our white dance floor. On a side note, the quality of our dance floor was also much better than others we've danced on. Our big day went flawlessly due to DJ Milin's meticulous itinerary. They had the crowd entertained and going from the baraat to the reception. My brother had a powerpoint he made to go along with his speech. He had trouble with the clicker, and Milin took time out to help him with the technical difficulties. MC Manish called me the week of my wedding to review what I expected and go over pronunciations of names; he was eloquent and had great crown control. The mixes were fantastic and timing of music was impeccable. He played music that managed to entice the entire crowd. A lot of our guests didn't end up eating dinner because they wanted to keep dancing. What can I say except Milin & Manish at Dhoom Events were absolutely awesome for our wedding! When we first started our journey, we were pretty lost with all the options for DJs out there.
