I had to do wound care for my mom. They changed the time for her second post operative visit. I had t drive from out of town 2 hours for a time change. We waited for 50 minutes in the waiting room. I asked them why she had not been called yet. Then, they placed her in a room for another 15 minutes. They sent my mom home from the hospital from a major back surgery the next day. She coukd not feed herself, barely walk safely, and had no home health for 2 days. I asked if she could go to rehab, because Noone could stay with her for the 2 week time period and Gina said no. She was rude to me in the hospital. So, my mom NEVER SAW THE SURGEON postoperative lt. She ONLY SPOKE TO THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT. This is a horrible practice with terrible office staff. The surgeon, physician assistant do not have a caring bedside manner or run the office effectively. I am sad for my mom, because she was told this was the best doctor at Hoag. When the specialist notified them they can't see a diagnosis, they didn't even respond. They did not send us to get X-rays, I had to tell them they were needed. Also, Wendy is a very rude person. In the past we've seen Turingen and Doan, both were good. All the new people we have seen since then have been just terrible. Too awful for words, can't even read comments and notes in their own system. They need better staff. I will be working on getting a better primary for my son. This place is so bad.
