Dr. Ohri is a 5 star doctor. I have no reservations about recommending him and would still have him as a doctor if my work's new insurance updates allowed it. I had one negative experience with a receptionist that tried to blame me for a communication mixup, which was frustrating to hear even after I was able to prove that the error was not on my end and she was not accepting responsibility. The other staff members were great though and more than made up for that unpleasant experience, so I wouldn't even take off a star for that. Parking was good. The office offered small beverages in the waiting room. These are little touches that make an experience go from ordinary to extraordinary. Meeting with Dr. Ohri, I could tell he was very knowledgeable. He was able to get to the root of an issue by ordering additional labs for me and offered a comprehensive health plan to help me. I trust his judgment and ability to care for his patients completely. I love the patient portal and that you could call, text, or schedule appointments online. Messages sent through the patient portal are responded to within an apppropriate amount of time. The office hours are flexible and there are many methods of accessing care here. Having the ability to text the office with any logistical questions and message with medical questions was the best part about this experience. Truly wish I was still a part of one of the medical groups they give care to because they were quick, effective, and thorough. read more

Dr Ohri is a great Doctor...He is very educated and knowledgeable. You will feel very good by the time Dr Ohri schedules you for blood test CT Scans or MRI's. I love the fact that getting my results is done via telephone therefore not having to get an office appointment.. I don't bother calling the office because nobody will answer. Update from my review 1/8/2026. Thankfully, Nancy, the office manager, finally helped me with my blood bill and was able to implement the necessary updates that could only be done by Innovative Care Medicine. She was available, quick to answer, and resolved my issue. The amount of time this took is still frustrating and the fact that this error even occurred in the first place should not be overlooked; however, I am happy and very thankful that Nancy stepped in to resolve my blood bill issue due to the administrative error at Innovative Care of mislabeling two of my blood tests. I had an 1145 phone appointment to get a refill on my medication. First of all they just wanted the appointment so they could bill my insurance. There was no reason to talk to me. Secondly I took time off work and waited until noon before I called them. The nice lady that answered said the Dr was out to lunch and he would call me when he got back. My family and I recently switched to Dr. Ohri's practice after not having a PCP for a few year's following Covid and we absolutely love them! The office staff is extremely friendly and made us feel like we've known them for years from the very first appointment. They really want to know you - not just your medical history, but YOU. Like how is your family? How is work? I feel like this is often times a trait that is overlooked but it's so critical in building a lasting relationship. It's always challenging trying to find a new provider that makes your whole family feel comfortable but Dr. Ohri and his NP Cristine took away my anxiety by being extremely patient and kind during our visits. Sometimes providers can be judgmental about certain topics like weight loss, and being a bigger girl like myself and my daughter being an overweight kid, it makes us feel bad/uncomfortable when we discuss the topic. However in our separate appointments, both Dr. Ohri and Cristine were so encouraging and helpful in helping us build a strategy for healthy weight loss - judgement free. They really have an approach of "How can I help you?" which is incredible. It's is a smaller practice, which for me is a huge attribute as I am not competing for my provider's attention. My provider knows me personally and the staff know me personally, and I'm not just a number in a huge stack of other patients. I seriously can't say enough about this provider. I had the honor of doing my clinical preceptorship with Dr. Ohri. The 100 hours at this office I was able to witness and take part in the compassionate, diligent care that this office provides its patients. Everyone from front desk down to billing (shout out to Alyssa, Niki and Nelly) as well as Dr. Ohri himself take so much care in ensuring the best outcome for their patients. As a student, you are essentially a sponge, taking in all the elements of care and noting how you in the future would like to provide care for your patients. Dr. Ohri continues to keep himself on top of the best practices that are evidence based, and is time efficient with his care listening to all the concerns of a patient and then triaging the care from most urgent and on. What an absolute disgrace this doctor and his office staff are. I am new to the area and was shopping around for a new primary care physician so I set an appointment with the dr. The day prior to my initial visit, I was called by one of the staff members to inform me that the dr. needed to cancel the appointment due to a "possible covid case" but then told that I can still see the nurse practioner or have a telehealth visit if I wanted. I said no because the whole reason for my visit was to meet the dr. in person. They set me an appointment for 2 days later. Obviously this made zero sense as anyone with common sense would notice that they are just using covid as an excuse, just as most companies do nowadays. Why would you cancel my appointment with the dr. due to "covid concerns" and yet offer the same time slot for a nurse practitioner? Better yet, why would you schedule me 2 days later for another appointment with the dr. if you had true "covid concerns"? These people got caught in a lie and used covid as an excuse to cancel an appointment which is truly sickening and disgusting because people are actually dying from the virus. I chose to let that blatant lie slide though and made the appointment for the slot available 2 days later. Then on the same day as my appointment, 3 hours prior, the office calls me again to cancel. Their reason this time was that the dr. needed to go work at the hospital. I am glad that I seen this unprofessionalism before I met this dr. because it saved me a whole lot of time and disappointment in the future. I mean, imagine having a primary care dr. who would never be able to actually care for you. Complete and total disregard and disrespect of people's time. I am well aware of my typing and the lower case "d" on the dr. title is purposeful. I do not believe this dr. deserves the respect of the title. read more

----Update---5/3/2023 Dr Ohri was nice enough to call me regarding the inconvenience due to staff's carelessness. That was nice of him. The RIGHT WAY TO FIX it is that clinic staff be re-trained so that such incidents don't happen again AND I should not be charged for this visit because it did not help in my treatment at all but rather added to my frustration. -------------------------- My recent visit in mid-April to this doctors facility was a horrible experience. I visited to get my eye infection treated. I got the appointment, had it checked with Dr. Ohri and got the prescription as well. I was told that Pink eye is prevalent these days so better be careful. All good so far. The problem started when I went to my prescription provider (CVS) and was told that the medicine is out of stock and manufacturer has the back order with a shipment expected in May. I called up the Dr. Ohri's office to get alternate prescription. For god's sake, I could not directly contact the office. My multiple calls were channeled through back offices and I was told that doctor has been notified about my request. And till date I have not heard back from this doctor or doctor' office. Pathetic communication and service by the office staff. Very unprofessional. I ended up going to Urgent care that evening because my eye got worse. I and my family wont visit this office again. Tried giving this place a shot. At first the office staff was amazing and I was able to use their online portal to communicate with the dr in between appointments. Not anymore though! Their portal still supposedly works but no one ever checks or responds to it! And good luck getting a hold of them! My husband tried calling every day last week and no one ever answered, so he left voicemails and no one called us back. Then they answer yesterday finally only to tell him they're leaving on lunch (oh and they close up shop whenever they want to if they dont have patients past 2 or 3pm) and they'd call him back. They didnt! He called back later yesterday and he was told they were "too busy" to help him and to call back today. He called back today and they put him on hold and literally never came back to his call! Oh and my latest experience with dr Ohri himself was that he "couldn't help me because he didnt know what to do, and I had to find a specialist to help me because he couldn't do anything" and our insurance is HMO which requires DOCTOR REFERRALS.
