As someone who generally doesn't wear very much makeup, I expressed that I wanted to still look like "myself" on my wedding day. After seeing countless photos from other artists who all seem to be putting the same makeup on each bride, I was a little nervous going into our trial. She captured my vision so beautifully, highlighting my features in a way that allowed me to still feel like me (but the best version!!). She was thoughtful and communicative throughout, and asked for feedback on the end result of the trial for any adjustments prior to the actual wedding. One of my favorite things about the trial was that she took photos to capture exactly what she had done the first time around. This meant that on the day of, she was ready to rock and roll with exactly what we wanted. It sounds like a small detail but ladies I cannot tell you how many other thoughts are going through your mind on THE DAY, so it was amazing to be able to show up and let her do her thing, knowing it would turn out exactly as planned. My bridal party was also SO impressed by her, and I got several compliments and "where did you find her, she's amazing" texts on the days following the event. A couple of the girls asked her for a bit more glam than I did, and she worked her magic flawlessly for their visions as well. Trust me when I say I think she can do literally anything. Do yourself a favor, work with her and see for yourself!

Both ladies make you feel instantly comfortable and listened to what I wanted for my special day!! Day of, they arrived early, were professional, and their whole team was fun and got along great with my friends and family!! If you have a big bridal party or a family that was hard to corral (like mine was haha,) Michelle has done SO many weddings that she was able to keep everyone on track in a kind but firm manner. (On Google) I'm not too sure which one was the incredibly rude one that I had the unfortunate texting encounter with. Both of them ended up replying and I was told to never contact the salon again by the supposed "other" stylist. I am incredibly thankful that I was able to see who they truly are and how rudely they treat perfectly good and loyal clientele that are only inquiring of their services. (She thinks a bit too highly of herself in my opinion). And men, don't even bother, she said she stopped taking men's cuts because she's just sooooo in demand!! I texted her the day before close to 5:00 pm. I wasn't expecting a call or text back till the next day. (Which was fine). She instead texted me 10:30 that night. Which I thought a little odd and unprofessional. (That's a bit late to be getting back to clients and to text them). What if I just fell asleep and she woke me up? Not a good way to start off, right? So, I did text her back and asked a question... She never responded till I texted her the next day around 10:30-11ish and said, "Guess you don't want my business then". (I don't have the text message screenshot because I had written her off and deleted the conversation). She didn't reply right away, it was around noon when she defensively and unprofessionally responded. As you can see from the screenshots below, how the rest of the conversation went. If you'd like to be talked to like this by these women, then by all means, please reach out to them! If you'd rather be treated respectfully as a human being, don't even bother with them. And yes, I do realize that I said I wasn't going to go online and give a review. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought that I'd let these text messages speak for themselves and let others at least see what they can avoid and not have to go through.
