But Juanita stood out because from the very start she felt like a person and not a company trying to sell me themselves. And looking at all of her credits on and off screens I can tell her talent for elevating natural beauty was really there. A big plus I loved, and what contributed to me booking her, is that since she travels for work she doesn't really have a set salon to drive and go to (if so that would have been a pain because my wedding location was quite a ways away) so, she comes to you with all the bells and whistles for the trial and wedding day. Let's talk about the trial. When I talked with Juanita about what I wanted and my vision I could really tell I was talking with a professional who has been doing this many years. It was like a scientist breaking down a chemical formula, | was so impressed. But she made it easy for me to understand and we curated a look that would work on the wedding day. Day of, Juanita and her team were absolutely amazing. One of my main concerns was having someone to do my groom's hair and she made sure there was someone there for that. We were able to tweak some things of the trail run on the fly as I mentioned them and she made sure we had enough time for the extensions I wanted. She was even my body guard when I was trying to rewrite my vows on paper but people kept talking to me, so she told my mom to be quiet. Haha! Her team was also very kind and generous enough to offer to help a bridesmaid who was apparently struggling with her hair. Juanita was also kind enough to stay for some touch ups right after my first look and truly made me glow. She was literally my fairy godmother and I couldn't even imagine having done this wedding without her. Side note- the odds were against us on my wedding day as it was the first rain of the season and boy did it rain like crazy that day. I was incredibly grateful that Elizabeth was absolutely receptive to all feedback post my initial HMU trial, as I felt the shades I originally picked were too light for an evening wedding and she instantly knew how to change it up for the day of! She also took into consideration that I do not regularly wear heavy make up and was able to give me an elevated natural look, that I was absolutely IN LOVE with!
