    Chopped way too much at the end

    They did me and my sister pretty bad , these pictures are taken a week after I did my brows there so you might see some hairs growing already but as you can see in one side she left a gap at the end of my brow and in the other she chopped way to much, girl was super slow and hurt a lot.

    We all know you shouldn't expect much from doing your eyebrows or nails at any Mall! Well... I needed an emergency eyebrow threading and said, screw it...I'll give this place a shot! I mean all I needed was a clean up! Bad vibe as soon as I walked in! Nobody waiting and this girl... who I immediately assumed worked there just sitting on one of the chairs! She looked at me, I looked at her, she looked at me back and I finally said, I need my eyebrows threaded! She was just so rude no personality or customer service whatsoever. Trust me I have a high tolerance for rude and those who aren't very friendly! But this was beyond me! She finished my eyebrows in like 2 minutes, I mean she did a whatever job but I didn't expect much from this place either! I've worked customer service, yes girl it sucks but no need for the cold shoulder vibe ! Never again!

    Honestly I don't know how I feel about this place anymore. Ive only gotten my eyebrows threaded and only at one place which is Diamond Brows. I've been coming here for years and sometimes my brows would come out perfect or decent. I've always had thick shaped brows and I've always been clear on how I want to keep a thick shape to the woman and I'm usually satisfied with the results. But two days before prom I wanted to get my brows done and I told this younger lady who's never down my brows before that I wanted to keep my soft arch and keep them thick, and for some reason this woman decided to make them extremely thin, thinner than I've ever had them. It hurt my self esteem greatly and my eyebrows have been ruined ever since. My thin brows looked good after a couple of days but they weren't what I liked. I've only gone back once after that and I have a fear of getting my eyebrows done now because of that experience. It's a shame because I found my brows to be my best feature but they no longer grow back thick and nicely shaped :( pictures are of my old brows, thin brows, and what my brows look like now

    Got my eyebrows done at this new eyebrow place in Northridge Mall. Great appearance from both outside and in. The ladies were wearing matching uniforms to fit the Diamond/ glam theme which was as pretty neat. Plenty of space. The ladies were very nice and courteous. They did a good job on the brows considering they were new; however, my only gripe was because they had just opened they did not have a functioning card reader for me to pay for the services. I wouldn't have minded paying cash if I would have known this ahead of time, but I was told right when I was about to pay and I was told it was cash only at the time. Luckily, my husband had cash on him, but otherwise I would've have to track down an ATM and come back. Will definitely come back again, just hope that by now their card reader is working.

However, when we came in, we did not get greeted - like at all and it was unfortunate because there was two ladies at the front desk Yolanda and Amarie (Amarie was helping another customer and her service seem great. I wish she could've been the one helping us.) on the flyer for the package. There were some add-on services that I had inquired about and that girl Yolanda pretty much told me she didn't know and never got back to me. Didn't ask if Manny the masseuse did not look into it for me it would've been a bust. He offered an alternative service as far as a foot mask. That was an even better option for us so we were pretty thankful for that, but if I had left it up to the other girl, it would've just been when it was . confusion and a whole bunch of nothing Yolanda was the girl that helped us again no greeting She kind of just waved us to the back, pointed at the robes ask us our shoe size and that was really it Once we were changed standing there awkwardly, she walked me into a room and left my mom in the hallway and then asked me. Did you tell your mom to come -I looked at her like girl I don't even know what's going on so why would I tell her to come once we went to the room? It was like again we were kind of just sitting there like what's going on a few minutes later she brought in a glass of champagne for my mom so we hung out there for about 30 minutes before they took us back for the massage. I think it was a really big missed opportunity to say "hello Welcome to aqua blue. My name is so-and-so thank you for booking this package" or happy Mother's Day whatever but she literally didn't greet us at all. My mom looked bummed that it was starting off with a really lackluster experience I paid $400 for this package You would think once they saw my reservation for such a package they would've at least acknowledged it in some way By the time we got upstairs, I was pretty frustrated with the service we were receiving -thank goodness Ruben and Manny were really friendly and helpful. It probably would've been lower stars if Manny wouldn't have been so unbelievably sweet, caring and compassionate. My mom was really struggling getting off her jewelry and nobody would help her. I have really long nails so I was struggling. Manny was the only person nice enough to attempt to help her and put it back on after the massage was completed To be honest for $400 I was pretty disappointed. Manny did a great job and I am very thankful for him. My mom was really happy with Ruben. But did I feel like I was there getting a luxurious experience for Mother's Day absolutely not! Did I feel like we were bothering them with a groupon package absolutely! The advertise these chocolates that they had, I asked about them they didn't have any available. It just seemed like a lot of missed opportunities and we were there the day before Mother's Day so any of the ladies that went on actual Mother's Day We're probably super bummed that they didn't have any of the accoutrement offered. Sad part is the following weekend. I took my mom to happy feet down the street and she got a foot and neck massage and I got a neck and shoulder massage and the total was $70 and to be honest I felt more relaxed when I was leaving there, then I did with aqua blue . I'm kind of glad I decided to do that because honestly, I was going to book with Manny again because he was amazing but with those prices to not be happy was pretty unacceptable. My dad passed recently, so Mother's Day had proven to be harder than expected. That's why I wanted to do something extra special for her this year by booking the spa. We have been to massage envy before and that's honestly where I was gonna go this time, but I was trying to do an elevated experience that was outside of a corporate place but honestly, I think even the value at massage envy is greater than here because again with those prices to not be happy it's just crappy honestly it took me a while to write the review because I didn't want to seem Like I didn't enjoy the time with my mom. I absolutely did. I just didn't enjoy the lack of customer service- if I was paying what I paid over there at happy feet this would've been a five star review but $400 later to leave unsatisfied.... All I'm saying is I'm down to spend some money and I'm down to spend some good money on quality stuff. I just feel kind of ripped off.

I think it's a business that offers contractors a spot to work & create their own client base. The owner of Heidis might be the property owner AND a nail tech. I needed my feet spoiled, so I ordered the Royal Pedicure. The entire process was just over an hour & included: gel pedicure, paraffin treatment, foot massage, leg massage with hot stones, chair massage with heated wraps for my hands & shoulders. There was a Korean face mask (moisturizing), but I opted to do it at home. Payment is easy - ApplePay or Zelle. While getting the pedicure I read a book, but once the massage started I just closed my eyes and listened to the different languages and music. The hum seemed very friendly The only negative was when a man who was familiar with the female nail techs came over & changed the tone from classy to trashy. His gutter style encouraged the women to join in by using foul language. Yes, entiendo y hablo español. The lack of professionalism was a turn-off and a good reason to find another salon instead of feeling excited that one found a gem.

We called many places up and down the peninsula and the prices were very high for the teams and even higher if we wanted them to travel and work at the venue the day of. We found Vanessa the owner of Studio Nine through one of her stylists Josh. Josh cuts my husband's hair at Furey's Old Town Barbershop and got us in contact with her. We setup an appointment and were not disappointed with her salon. Her salon has a high glam aesthetic that you cannot find in Salinas. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she is so kind and welcoming. The day of the wedding we had some minor hiccups with our ladies but mostly because of lack of communication on the ladies parts. One of them did not communicate the exact look she wanted so it was redone and another did not realize that the price they were quoted was the base amount and goes up depending on difficulty and length. So make sure that you communicate to your parties the prices are a base and to over communicate the looks they want. Overall however our ladies loved them! We heard raving reviews from all the ladies at the wedding venue when they arrived and they all looked absolutely phenomenal. The prices were reasonable and the location is a gem. I would use them again in a heartbeat for an event.

For my second visit I went in and decided to change the tone of my blonde and bring down my shadow root to make my roots look more blended (because I was lazy and didn't want to maintain it). The third time I went in to get a haircut and she did an amazing job helping me achieve something that framed my face well. This last time I went in to get a full balayage since my hair has grown quite a bit and she and Kim gave me my hair goals. I really appreciate the honesty and how willing they are to work with you in every step of your hair journey. I love coming to the salon because it has such a welcoming environment, every time I'm here it feels like I'm reconnecting with old friends.
