    I have Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). A hormonal disorder. Unfortunately one of the symptoms includes excess facial hair growth. Being on a budget with a condition with no cure, I have to get the most bang for my buck while not compromising on quality. I may not have copious amounts of money for laser treatments but it doesn't mean I don't deserve the best care and I deserve to look and feel good about myself. So I looked into European Wax Center. I read the reviews here and on Google and booked my first appointment. Booking online and on the phone is easy. As soon as I walked into the building, my first impression was the place was clean, modern, and welcoming. I was happy with the first service but I longed for a technician I really "vibed with". I read all the wonderful things customers were saying about Holly. I booked an appointment with her and I have never turned back! She is an expert at her craft! Nobody wants hair removal to be prolonged and painful. She is fast and a magician at shaping my brows perfectly in mere minutes! She takes pride in her work and it shows. I feel so comfortable with her, (at times too comfortable), that I always somehow end up telling her my life story and life trials and tribulations and she listens without flinching! The crazy thing is I am usually reserved and introverted! I know I probably should leave the therapy sessions with a therapist and set better "conversation boundaries", but what I'm trying to convey is that Holly just makes you feel that comfortable! She has a way with people that is unmatched to any other technician I have ever met! Waxing is intimate and it is important to feel comfortable. I carry much shame with my medical condition so you can imagine my relief of being cared for without any judgment. Holly definitely makes you feel comfortable and valued. As far as the company goes, they offer promotions and memberships so you are getting the most out of your visits. At first it felt a little pushy to sign up for things but after I "kept it real" with them regarding my financial situation, they became more understanding. Everyone there, from the front desk attendant, to the manager, take pride in their work and genuinely care about the customers and you will pick up on that feeling immediately. Literally as soon as you walk through the door! If you want quality service with the best value go here!

However, when we came in, we did not get greeted - like at all and it was unfortunate because there was two ladies at the front desk Yolanda and Amarie (Amarie was helping another customer and her service seem great. I wish she could've been the one helping us.) on the flyer for the package. There were some add-on services that I had inquired about and that girl Yolanda pretty much told me she didn't know and never got back to me. Didn't ask if Manny the masseuse did not look into it for me it would've been a bust. He offered an alternative service as far as a foot mask. That was an even better option for us so we were pretty thankful for that, but if I had left it up to the other girl, it would've just been when it was . confusion and a whole bunch of nothing Yolanda was the girl that helped us again no greeting She kind of just waved us to the back, pointed at the robes ask us our shoe size and that was really it Once we were changed standing there awkwardly, she walked me into a room and left my mom in the hallway and then asked me. Did you tell your mom to come -I looked at her like girl I don't even know what's going on so why would I tell her to come once we went to the room? It was like again we were kind of just sitting there like what's going on a few minutes later she brought in a glass of champagne for my mom so we hung out there for about 30 minutes before they took us back for the massage. I think it was a really big missed opportunity to say "hello Welcome to aqua blue. My name is so-and-so thank you for booking this package" or happy Mother's Day whatever but she literally didn't greet us at all. My mom looked bummed that it was starting off with a really lackluster experience I paid $400 for this package You would think once they saw my reservation for such a package they would've at least acknowledged it in some way By the time we got upstairs, I was pretty frustrated with the service we were receiving -thank goodness Ruben and Manny were really friendly and helpful. It probably would've been lower stars if Manny wouldn't have been so unbelievably sweet, caring and compassionate. My mom was really struggling getting off her jewelry and nobody would help her. I have really long nails so I was struggling. Manny was the only person nice enough to attempt to help her and put it back on after the massage was completed To be honest for $400 I was pretty disappointed. Manny did a great job and I am very thankful for him. My mom was really happy with Ruben. But did I feel like I was there getting a luxurious experience for Mother's Day absolutely not! Did I feel like we were bothering them with a groupon package absolutely! The advertise these chocolates that they had, I asked about them they didn't have any available. It just seemed like a lot of missed opportunities and we were there the day before Mother's Day so any of the ladies that went on actual Mother's Day We're probably super bummed that they didn't have any of the accoutrement offered. Sad part is the following weekend. I took my mom to happy feet down the street and she got a foot and neck massage and I got a neck and shoulder massage and the total was $70 and to be honest I felt more relaxed when I was leaving there, then I did with aqua blue . I'm kind of glad I decided to do that because honestly, I was going to book with Manny again because he was amazing but with those prices to not be happy was pretty unacceptable. My dad passed recently, so Mother's Day had proven to be harder than expected. That's why I wanted to do something extra special for her this year by booking the spa. We have been to massage envy before and that's honestly where I was gonna go this time, but I was trying to do an elevated experience that was outside of a corporate place but honestly, I think even the value at massage envy is greater than here because again with those prices to not be happy it's just crappy honestly it took me a while to write the review because I didn't want to seem Like I didn't enjoy the time with my mom. I absolutely did. I just didn't enjoy the lack of customer service- if I was paying what I paid over there at happy feet this would've been a five star review but $400 later to leave unsatisfied.... All I'm saying is I'm down to spend some money and I'm down to spend some good money on quality stuff. I just feel kind of ripped off.

They were so accommodating and understanding. I understand they cannot always do that but I really appreciated it this time. The atmosphere is very calming and they offer a very comfortable robe to use while you are there. The facilities are super clean as well! My massage was absolutely amazing. Lulu worked on all of my focus areas plus identified other areas that she felt were really tense. It is a deep tissue experience so make sure you like deep tissue work before you book this massage. I one hundred percent would recommend this establishment to anyone! Super reasonable prices and great services! I will one hundred percent be back!

I think it's a business that offers contractors a spot to work & create their own client base. The owner of Heidis might be the property owner AND a nail tech. The entire process was just over an hour & included: gel pedicure, paraffin treatment, foot massage, leg massage with hot stones, chair massage with heated wraps for my hands & shoulders. There was a Korean face mask (moisturizing), but I opted to do it at home. Payment is easy - ApplePay or Zelle. While getting the pedicure I read a book, but once the massage started I just closed my eyes and listened to the different languages and music. The hum seemed very friendly The only negative was when a man who was familiar with the female nail techs came over & changed the tone from classy to trashy. His gutter style encouraged the women to join in by using foul language. Yes, entiendo y hablo español. The lack of professionalism was a turn-off and a good reason to find another salon instead of feeling excited that one found a gem.

We found Vanessa the owner of Studio Nine through one of her stylists Josh. Josh cuts my husband's hair at Furey's Old Town Barbershop and got us in contact with her. We setup an appointment and were not disappointed with her salon. Her salon has a high glam aesthetic that you cannot find in Salinas. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she is so kind and welcoming. The day of the wedding we had some minor hiccups with our ladies but mostly because of lack of communication on the ladies parts. One of them did not communicate the exact look she wanted so it was redone and another did not realize that the price they were quoted was the base amount and goes up depending on difficulty and length. So make sure that you communicate to your parties the prices are a base and to over communicate the looks they want. Overall however our ladies loved them! We heard raving reviews from all the ladies at the wedding venue when they arrived and they all looked absolutely phenomenal. The prices were reasonable and the location is a gem. For my second visit I went in and decided to change the tone of my blonde and bring down my shadow root to make my roots look more blended (because I was lazy and didn't want to maintain it). The third time I went in to get a haircut and she did an amazing job helping me achieve something that framed my face well. This last time I went in to get a full balayage since my hair has grown quite a bit and she and Kim gave me my hair goals. I really appreciate the honesty and how willing they are to work with you in every step of your hair journey. I love coming to the salon because it has such a welcoming environment, every time I'm here it feels like I'm reconnecting with old friends.

Over the last few weeks, I have watched my…read moreface go from beautiful to deformed due to improper injection techniques and not diluting my Hyperdilute Radiesse enough. The provider stated they used a 1:2 ratio in my neck when it should be 1:4, which is why I have lumps all over it. I found out just how many calcified lumps I had when I had to get a CT scan with contrast and found out the hard way they show up on a scan, unbelievable (I could have let the doctor know before they did it if I had known, but I had to get a second scan to rule anything out). My primary provider does a 1:4, and it is on almost all information that a 1:4 ratio is the way to do the treatment properly (For treating neck laxity, a higher dilution (like 1:4) is often preferred as it allows for more even distribution of the product across the area). But they did a 1:2, so I have a lumpy neck now (not very attractive). For the under-eye filler, which I was reassured Rachel knew how to perform better than anyone (her words), both eyes looked different. The right side had an odd sack of filler under the right eye, and the left side stayed bruised for a very long time and was lumpy and uneven (both sides were not only different; they made my face look horrible, and it aged me). To make matters worse, I had a Hyperdilute Radiesse treatment done under my chin; I now have a heavy pocket filled with calcium (again, because it is not being diluted enough). I gave the provider a chance to refund the under-eye filler (which I paid $900 to dissolve, which she assured me she would take care of when we met, but she did not. So, I paid $1,200 for a treatment that deformed my face and $900 to have it all dissolved so I could look normal again. This means I am $2,100 out of pocket and will need to return to my primary provider to get things looking good again, so yes, more money. Even after meeting with the owner to discuss my issues, which she apologized for and agreed that my treatments were no good, she still only provided me with the last two Hyperdilute Radiesse treatments that I never received. Still, even that was not the right amount (it should have been $1,600, not $1,500). I took time out of my day to meet with the owner on a Saturday, who took pictures of my face and wrote a note to my main provider about how to reduce the LUMPS on my neck from the improper injection technique by Rachel. It pains me to put this on a review, but I have allowed enough time to give this Medical Spa the time to make it right (not to mention my own time). I knew something was wrong, so I emailed on November 8, 2024, at 8:43 a.m. The office staff ignored my first email, so I had to call to explain how bad my face looked. She said to wait another week (which had already been three) to see what happens. Wait another week; I'm sorry. It's my face, for crying out loud. I am beside myself in explaining why they would not do the right thing. Please know you need to be careful here! Avoid this place if you can. They say they can do something but overpromise and underdeliver. What they did to my face was unacceptable, and I had to tell others what happened.
