Set up an appointment with Forrest. Already texted him the idea and he drew it up. The outline in…read morethe pic was flash I picked off the wall (which I never do) but Envision has a lot of good art on the walls to choose from. Kimmy started first (her idea) and sat like a champ. It was her first tattoo and she was calm and inspiring. She was cleaned up and it was my turn. I have plenty of tattoos so I was excited to begin. The spot wasn't bad and we went full steam ahead. I'm not one for breaks and Forrest was in the zone so we kept going. I saw by the progress and the amount of line work that we were going to be awhile, so I suggested that we just complete the outline and I come back to finish the black/grey fill in and Forrest agreed. Honestly I was nodding off and wanted to go home and sleep. He wrapped me up solid and went home. In the morning I cleaned up the tattoo and am very happy with the results. Kimmy has already been talking about her next tattoos. She has the bug most of us get. Looking at spots of open skin and visualizing tattoos there. When that time comes we will be returning to Envision not only because of Forrest, who is super kind and just a great person that does great work, but because of the vibe in the shop. Lots of really good people to interact with and share experiences with. The place is clean and professional but also a great place to hang out and get quality ink.
