My wife and I have been struggling to find a reliable landscaper to come out and do a mow service and miscellaneous landscaping upkeep for the past few years. We have experienced it all from zero communication/follow up to being ghosted. Well, I am beyond thrilled to say those troubles are gone. Dakota and his team at Diamond Cut Outdoor Solutions have been amazing. I reached out to them for a quote for mow service and heard back on the same day. Dakota was super friendly and accommodating to my availability to schedule a visit to give us an accurate quote. He texted to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time. The pricing was right on par to what we had expected. While he was here, we discussed future plans for our landscaping. He wasn't pushy and trying to sell us on anything. He was honest about the type of work he offers and offered to provide a quote for the mulching and left the door open for future work when we are ready to do it. Needless to say I have been really impressed and happy with him. He and his team were here this weekend to do the mulch work and it turned out fantastic. Poor communication. I requested a quote on a Monday, immediately received a response asking the address, which I provided. No response. On Wednesday I replied again asking for a follow up, no response. On Saturday morning I received a reply stating "so basically you want (names project)". Dakota is awesome. I had reached out about a fall cleanup and decided to hold off for a little. I had gotten a quote from another company about cleaning up some beds and removing ground vines and large debris piles. I had already agreed to use this other company and then they just stopped communication just before they were about to start. Most unprofessional company i have ever worked with. Show up at 3pm to start a job week later still have debris in my yard. 3 stacks of sticks and several 4 ft logs, killing my grass. Was told on Thursday price was $1,500. The next Wed.have to leave CASH. Only an hour late past my deadline to leave for work says they are coming. Shows up takes my 1,500, leaves everything in my yard. Since his truck broke down. Cody in his mind without telling me once, now thinks it's worth $2,000. And says I stiffed him!
