Usually I would recommend this place, they have always been wonderful especially the staff. However I went this week and the person doing my nails dripped nail polish on my skin and after it was dry, instead of using remover used the drill to take it off and then used the buffer after, yes this was on my skin... I ended up with a cut on my finger or more like the first layer of my skin drilled off on top of my finger. I've also had my nails on for 2 days and IYKYK my hair is already getting stuck in them when I shower.... $90 down the drain and left with a cut on my finger. read more

Do not recommend!! First called Friday to book an appointment at noon for Saturday, we go in it's a total of 3 hrs they didn't start working on me until between 1:30-2:30. Once I realize he's gluing the tips to the very edge of my nail, the glue barely holding for him the first time he put the tip on, I knew it wasn't going to hold for two weeks. He then starts filing and everything slices my pinky taking a little bit of skin off, nothing I can't deal with. I go on about my day after paying $75 including the tip, it's not even 5 hours later I go to open my car door barely jamming it and here comes my nail and half of my real nail right off, gushing blood. I will NOT go back and NEVER recommend! It's not even a star rating of 1 it just wouldn't let me post with no stars. Also to add to it, the guy did not apologize to cutting my finger when I told him and pulled back, and they just have employees sleeping in chairs!! Weird go home or do some work read more

My nieces had come here to get their nails done for their 12th birthday. Two days later, one of them had broken a nail, and the other didn't like her color. So I offered to take them back, and to get myself a set as well. I got the ANC set, which is the organic powders. First, this was the least friendly atmosphere I've ever encountered in a nail salon! The guy doing my nails didn't even smile to say hello when I say down. At the end, he told me 5 minutes to dry, I said ok and assumed I was supposed to put them in front of the little fan like he had me doing the whole time. He then yelled at me for ruining them and took the fan away. Kind of weird. He did a good job on them, though. My biggest complaint is that within a week, two do the nails were coming up off my nail. When we went to leave, the woman who helped one of my nieces was telling her she only tipped her $2 and wanted more. First- I find that incredibly rude. You get the tip that person feels you deserve, not what you expect no matter what. But being that my niece is 12, I told her to add $2-3 to her tip. As soon as we got outside, however, my niece showed me 2 pretty big nicks this woman gave her! She cut into her skin twice, and didn't acknowledge or apologize when my niece jumped in pain. I couldn't believe this woman had the nerve to ask for a higher tip after that! There are a few other places around Amsterdam I will be sure to check out before ever considering going back here. Got the worst Service ever and it's Usually a good place to get your nails done but I don't know if it's because they just opened back but it was awful they charged me 55 dollars for nails that were only supposed to be 45 I didn't get what I wanted I was upset the whole time she kept telling me I had to tip her and I was saying no Bc I didn't like them and when it came time to pay I asked for a receipt and she had charged me 60 $!!!! When I first saw the reviews for this I was very skeptical and decided to go elsewhere. My good friend Jill told me this is where she goes and loves it so I said what the heck I'll try it. I made an appointment for the 3 of us and even thou we waited 10 mins. it was well worth the wait. So you can't always take the reviews seriously. These people are great and quite funny I might add so go for it. Make that appointment and see for yourselves!! read more

I've been coming here for a while now and I've never had any problems. Sometimes a couple people may get impatient because you don't know what color you want right away but other than than nothing. Prices are about the same as anywhere else. read more

My mother and I came her for a regular mani-pedi with polish. The service was okay. My biggest complaint is that the polish was still not dry 4 hours after getting it done (true for the both of us) so if we touched anything it would leave a mark or peel up some of the polish. I'm not sure if this is due to the type of polish used or because they put on four coats (including top coat) without allowing enough dry time inbetween. read more
