I didn't even have time to finish reading my son his story. They were prepared with either a booster or to let me sit and hold my son, and we had to do the second option. Patrick very kindly supplied a cape for me as well. As far as the cut, Patrick did a great job moving fast and doing it well. He talked us through options - it never occurred to me my toddler could have a style instead of just shorter hair, haha, until we got there - and we went with one we liked but wouldn't have thought possible for a toddler. Patrick made sure we were happy and supplied us with a first haircut certificate. My son was nervous at points, but never actually got upset. Patrick has a great temperament for dealing with parents and kids, and it was an awesome experience that I would recommend to anyone. For reference, my son's cut was $22 before tip.

This is a barber shop with barbers who have been cutting hair longer than most others around. Joe, age 84, cut my hair today and it was just how I wanted it. He took the time asked a lot of questions because it was my first time there and it was great. They'll give you exactly what you ask for as long as you tell them, they'll stop along the way and ask you how it's looking, and they care enough to give you a great haircut for $10-15 less than the place down the street. You can buy a lot more beer and coffee with the money you save here and get a great haircut too!! In the plaza behind the Fresh Market and across from Burger King you'll find the Siena Barbershop since 1964. Walk-ins are welcome and it's cash only. There is an ATM inside if you forgot cash.

A week before my wedding, he disappeared completely. Gregory's was opening the week after I left my job upstairs. I had watched the place being set up for weeks, and always meant to visit to check the place out. I needed a quality cut, but time was short with all the running around with family just before the wedding. I decided to take a short trip to Delmar and see what Gregory's would offer. Gregory's is a true barber shop. The place is clean, professional and caters to the needs of the men who visit. There is no choking on chemical fumes while someone is getting their hair permed, and no staring at empty walls while you wait for service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and greats you warmly every time. Most of all, Gregory's offers the best hair cuts I have ever had. Each member of the team takes their time to give the best cut possible. I have visited regularly for six years and have never walked away unsatisfied. Straight razor finish to each haircut is a great touch, makes you wonder how a haircut ever felt complete before. I am terrible at planning my time in advance so I am rarely able to take advantage of advance appointments, but the staff is always honest about the expected wait time and does their best to get to their customers as swiftly as possible. There are a few televisions and magazines that are generally worth reading to pass the few moments wait, so it has never been an issue. The few times I have been able to schedule in advance have always been extra pleasant, I highly recommend it if you're better at planning than I am. They now have locations in Clifton Park and a few location opening in Guilderland, so if you have not had the best barber experience. My wife would say that the only problem with Gregory's is that I wait too long between visits!
