My appointment took place in the Le Nails salon in Malta but under the booking from B&T Salon. This is my review of the Le Nails salon for reference, not sure the weight of my review for B&T Salon as I was redirected to actually show up at the Le Nails Salon. A little confusing. The staff were super friendly and personable, but beyond that, meh. I came in with an old acrylic set from a different salon that was lifting. I had requested an acrylic full set in my appointment and found out later that we were actually applying builder gel. I'm not sure on the specific differences between acrylic and builder gel, but I was told by a previous nail technician that the acrylic is more long lasting and tough, which I prefer because I'm pretty hard on my hands. Again, maybe the way that the builder gel was applied mimics the acrylic, but the lack of clarity on my end is a little frustrating as I've been to salons that walk-through what exactly is being applied, and also have sisters that provide acrylic and builder gel nail services in another state. The application itself is rather thick and a little lumpy on some nails, which I didn't notice until after I left . Definitely on me for not saying something while I was there to have them try to fix it. I also had nail tips applied, not a fan of the opaque color of the tip underneath as I don't think it mimics a natural nail. If I go here again, I think I'll request a different tip type. The salon vibe and interior is pretty standard. Maybe they have strong suits in other services at the salon, but my acrylic full set appointment was just meh.

Samantha is my massage therapist at Bella Nani and is knowledgeable about techniques that help promote relief from chronic headaches and migraines. I wish I could go once a week! I'm looking forward to my next one. In the meantime, I hope to win the lotto so I can go several days a week. :) Becky did my facial today, and it was so relaxing. I've been under lots of stress and my acne prone skin is showing it. As a result, I was concerned about getting a facial, but everything she did was gentle and calming to my skin. I feel like my skin is on the right path to recovery, thanks to her. I'll definitely be back! Bella Nani is a unique spa that feels like a comfy home-away-from-home, where you feel welcomed and want to hang out to sip a cup of tea and chat. I never feel rushed the entire time I'm there, and there's never any pressure to buy products or more services. I leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and happy. I highly recommend!

This review is for the Inn only…read more While Maggie was welcoming, the Inn is need of a major overhaul. The small full size bed in the Stephen Medbery suite was like a brick, my husband and I found it difficult to sleep. The chairs on the porch have seen better days along with the carpeting and furniture in the Inn and room. The bathroom was tiny, the TV was at least 20 years old (with a DVD player), the tub was in the middle of the room along with a huge electric fireplace, tons of furniture and very little space to be comfortable. There was a fridge in the room but no other amenities were offered. WiFi didn't work during our stay either. Would not recommend staying here. There are better options elsewhere for sure. Especially at the price we paid ($250 a night). Also - if you really look at their website (which doesn't list much information about the rooms) they are using the same photo for all rooms listed.

When I called in (booking online was very difficult) to make the appointments, they didn't have exactly what we were looking for available. They told me what was available, and we went with it: Sauna, mineral bath, and a massage for my wife. Sauna, and a cold plunge for me. Based on the few appointments available, I was expecting the spa to be busy when we arrived. It was actually completely deserted. I saw one other guy the entire time I was there. We got changed in our respective locker rooms, put on the nice robes and sandals, and went to the Relaxation Room to wait. The nice woman who checked us in told me that when my wife got taken for her bath, I should go to the sauna. So I did. I was in the sauna for about 10 minutes when it seemed markedly less hot. Because it was off. I had to get out of the sauna, put on some clothes, find an employee (not as easy as it sounds), and ask them to find someone who can turn the sauna back on. It runs on a timer, but they didn't think to check it would be on during the session for one of their two guests that morning? Seeing as how the sauna was half of my (not cheap) entire experience, this was a little off-putting. After we figured the sauna issue out, I was grabbed by my bath attendant. He led me to a room where it was clear that I had a hot bath waiting. I asked if the cold plunge would be afterward, he said there was no cold plunge but I could turn the bath colder if I'd like. I wasn't sure if I made a mistake, so I just went with it and hopped in the hot bath. About 10 minutes after I got in the bath, he came back and told me there was a mistake, and he had a cold plunge ready for me. So I got out of the bath, and followed him to a different room, and hopped in the cold plunge. Which was very nice. However, the runaround was also a little off-putting, and not the relaxing morning I was hoping for. All in all, the mineral baths are very cool. The water is unique and amazing and I'm glad we did it. For what it's worth, my wife said it was one of the best massages she's ever gotten. However, my experience was disorganized, and the facilities are a bit outdated. Beware: If you wear clothing into the bath, the mineral water will stain it. It would've been nice to have been warned about that beforehand.

I would show them pictures and it still wouldn't even be close to what I wanted. When I made my appointment, I spoke with Danielle about it. She ask me to send her the pictures. I sent her several indoors and outdoor picture so she would get an idea of the color. The day of the appointment she looked at them again. She mixed the color and it came out perfect. I couldn't believe it. I finally found a stylist who would take the time to do what I wanted. Danielle is very knowledgeable in her profession. And she knows how to mix color to get the color her clients want. I am so pleased with the cut, color and style that she did. Oh and she's great with the shampoo job she does.
