I've been here a few times before while in town with my girlfriend. They usually are pretty good about accommodating walk ins, they offer appointments as well. We stopped by today and were disappointed with our service. We did the manicure service, 3 regular and 1 dip. 3 of the 4 technicians were good and attentive. One of the technicians was on her phone the entire service. Texting in between each nail, watching TikTok videos, little regard to the service or quality of the maincure. We were told the total was 105 but were charged $120 (no that didn't include the tip). I questioned but was told that was the price. Overall started fine but walked out disappointed and dissatisfied. Lots of color options which is good. Cleanliness is on the mediocre side. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for several years, manicures and pedicures. The staff is professional and friendly. Over the years, I've only had one manicure that I wasn't pleased with. I came back into the salon the next day, and they completed a new manicure at no charge. This salon offers several different options for manicures and a range of pedicures to choose from. I am greeted as I walk in and seated ASAP. I appreciate their excellent service, the quality of their work, and the relaxed setting. I have went here many times and have usually been happy with the service but not today. My daughter and I wanted to get pedicures but we also had my two grandsons so we asked if there was a wait before unloading the kids. was told to come on in they would get right to us. 45 mins later they finally started the service!! I will say the gentleman that did mine was very nice and did a good job. I wanted a design so he went and asked another girl to do this, I was told she would be right with me. I waited 30 mins and finally just said put the top coat on so I can leave. well guess what? she came over and said she could do it quick. if you could do it quick then you could have came over before and done it. sorry but you just lost a couple customers! The two ladies named Bb and Tina I've had the pleasure of being their customer. The ladies r super professionals. These pics are from Bb and she sets me up fine. I have a great time there. They r true blue artists. I recommend the shellac on top of the tips anyday. Its great to start a new set each time if u can afford A little bit more it pays off!in the end. The shellac lasted longer than just ur regular tip job. They shine on and don't worry if u can't make up ur mind let them decided for u on color, design,and recommendations. I love my silvers and sparkles. What a great name to go with the ur nails! I will remain loyal to they ladies, they have made me so happy with how long their work last and the joy of having them. You can't go lower than 1 Star. My mom likes this place. I don't know why. They have no skills. Dirty tools, number one problem. Gel soak off in a bowl of acetone. What!? I have no idea why there are so many clients waiting and waiting soaking their feet until they're practically asleep and finally you get a tech. Go across the street to Hollywood nails. Gross. I used to go to this place every two weeks during the summer for a pedi until I started getting a gross infection from their dirty tools. They are really convenient and take walk-ins which I loved, but I would ask "please do not cut my big toe nail at an angle or I will get an ingrown toe nail." The cheerful Asian woman would smile and nod and then *CLIP* she'd dig right in and cut the nail down at a the edges, ensuring a painful ingrown nail in a few days. The last time I ever went was for a manicure. It was a busy Saturday afternoon. I sat at the manicure station and waited for a tech. I watched her finish up a pedicure by throwing her tools in a tiny box, sitting at the my station and immediately started using the dirty PEDICURE tools on my hands. Yuck! Yeah, it's nice to get a $22 dollar pedicure but you get what you pay for. Save you nails from a nasty infection and get to a real nail tech and a reputable salon/spa. read more

The worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I've been to this place several times and had previous decent experiences but over the weekend it was terrible. My mother and I sat with our feet in lukewarm water for a half hour before anyone acknowledged us. When a nail tech did come over they scraped some gunk off of their nail clippers half ass swished it in the sanitizer. They use that tool on my mom's toes. When they opened the jet cover it was black underneath. The nail tech looked annoyed when I ask her to repaint a couple of my nails because she didn't get the polish all the way to the end. The dust on fixtures in the back of the TV and so forth was measurable. They clearly do not sanitize their tools And they do not take care when painting your nails. Went in with a friend and the service was terrible. I understand I went during peak times but the water for the pedicure was cold. And the customer across from me complained it was cold. the workers constantly just got up and walked away during both the pedicure and manicure. The pedicure took all of 10 minutes in total. One of the workers is walking around with no shoes on.the floors are disgusting. I had a bad expierence here a couple years ago but thought I would give it a shot again, I was sooo wrong. read more

Great pedicures here. They give you grapes and a drink and are very thorough with cleaning your nail bed before putting on the polish. Very nice massage and overall clean place. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have never gotten my manicure here but I would come again to try. read more

Pricy, but you always get what you ask for here. Very quick too, I've tried a few nail places in the area and this is the only one where you know you won't have to wait long. Their website says they take cards, but when I paid she asked if I had cash, I said no I don't have enough and she seemed annoyed. (8/11/18) Arrived there without any appointment. Friendly staff. I had to wait for about 30 minutes before being helped, but they did a great job and the pedicure chairs have free massages! They have a selection of magazines while you wait to be helped and give you a plate with fresh grapes and cold bottled water! Got my pedi done fast, but used multiple coats and did a nice job! They massage your whole shin, use moisturizer, and use tools to remove cuticles (without hurting you) and buff the bottoms of your feet, making them smooth! My pedicure was $20, which is pretty good for the service I received. Definitely will be going there again when I get the chance. Nice inside decor and pretty good selection of nail polish. They offer designs and glitter polish to paint on top. read more

Worst mani/pedi I've ever gotten. Went here yesterday because a friend had a gift certificate, certainly won't be back. The girl who did my services was in a hurry, I have calluses still on my feet that she hadn't touched, and I have several cuticles on my fingers that are swollen and sore because she cutting far down and too quickly. Not sure what the hurry was, no one was waiting, and after she finished with me she went and laid on the couch with another technician. The friend with the gc ended up being given the wrong shellac, had to have it all redone and they didn't offer her a discount. Poorly run, unprofessional--the only thing they have going for them is their location. There are far better places for the same charge. read more

I was looking for a place to get my nails done because the nail place at Lindale Mall was packed. I figured this would be an okay place, but I was wrong. I wanted a regular manicure, which is $15. I went and picked my nail polish and the woman started doing my nails. Several times she asked if I wanted "Shellac," which is apparently a longer lasting nail polish. Of course I declined several times because I needed to change my nail color the following week for a wedding. She kept asking, trying to convince me to get the Shellac and I kept declining because it was $30 total. The girl seemed to become frustrated that I didn't want to shell out another $15 for something I'd have to get taken off in less than 5 days anyway. She mumbled something to me, which I could barely understand, and pointed to a station closer to the wall, which I did since I figured it was because the nail dryers were over there or she needed to use different tools at that station. As soon as I sat down at the new station she began putting a clear lacquer on my nails, which I thought was just an enhanced base coat. When she finished putting it on, she pointed to the sample nail colors on a board, which I was confused because I already picked out my nail color and showed it to her. Then I realized that she was basically scamming me into the more expensive Shellac nail polish! The base coat she put on only works with Shellac and when I told her for the SIXTH TIME I didn't want it, she became annoyed, grabbed my hands, and half-assedly removed the base coat. Of course she wanted to make me pay right then and there and when she saw I didn't give her a tip, she did a junky job painting my nails. The $15 manicure didn't include lotion or a handrub. My nails looked awful and chipped in 12 hours because she didn't remove the lacquer. The funny thing is that the girl doing my friend's nails tried to push her into the Shellac colors too! DO NOT GET SCAMMED! These people will trick you into paying for something you don't want even when you've told them a billion times you don't want it. I'm disgusted this place is conducting business this way. And to top things off, the place is DIRTY. The girl was painting my nails on top of a uv nail dryer and the thing was filthy. read more

Wow. Something needs done about this place. I went in on October 17th and was treating my sister as she was having surgery done the next day. My sister in law and 3 yr old niece also went. We all 3 had awful pedicures, with my sister in law having to wait until us 2 were finished before she got help. (We HAD appointments.) The ladies were pointing at us and talking about us in another language. The pedicures were quick and very little massage. So much for relaxing my sister... They wanted to charge my little niece $15 to paint her teeny nails. Really?! Then, since my sister couldn't have any polish on her nails or feet due to surgery I asked if my niece could just get my sisters paint. Initially they said NO, so I asked what discount my sister would get since she didn't need any painting. NONE. They could tell I was not happy so they finally agreed to let my niece have my sisters polish after I asked to speak to a manager. Like the other review, they made me pay before we were even done with our manicures. (Pedicures were done.) I gave an 18% tip, which was VERY gracious given the experience we were already having, and the lady had the nerve to ROLL HER EYES when she looked at my tip. Like the other girl, I then did not get a very good manicure at all, nor did my sister or sister in law. It was pretty awful. I am from Las Vegas and never thought an "Iowa" place would be this rude. My sister and sister in law will never go back. So heads up - they are some of the rudest women working there I have every encountered. I would go elsewhere. read more

I will preface this review by saying I don't ever get my nails done. As a newbie, I picked this place since it was close to my house. They did a pedicure and the manicure with the fake nails for my wedding. They were very helpful and reasonably priced. My nails lasted for a long time, and I got lots of compliments on how pretty and natural they looked. They did leave a lot of the plastic shavings stuck under my nails from the sanding of the ends, and it was super busy all the time to the point where I felt like it was a race to get me out the door. Other then that I was happy with it. If I ever have a need to do my nails again, I'll go back there. They did seem to have a lot of repeat clientele, so that speaks for itself. read more

Worst pedicure I have ever received. The nail tech did not make any conversation with me, smile at me, or even pretend to care I was even there. She proceeded to talk to her co-workers the entire time and would even yell across the room, stopping what she was doing, to receive a response. After she polished my toe nails she didn't even ask if I wanted a nail design, got up and walked away. Will never come back to this nail salon I had them redo my nails three times and then they proceeded to charge me extra because they messed up on my nails I ended up paying $75 for a set of acrylic nails when I can pay $40 at any other nail salon. I was told I was paying extra because "the boss told her so" Furthermore they also made every single one of my nails different leangths and way longer than I told them to. I started out with the nail studio in Lindale mall and was very disappointed, they chipped the first evening and I was not doing any hard work, as I was on vacation from Germany. Well a friend of mine told me to try Diamond Nails she uses them also. I needed to get my nails done for my brothers wedding, they turned out really pretty. The girls were very kind. I told them exactly what I wanted and needed and that is what they did. I decided to go back a little over a week later and get them done before heading back to Germany. Now 2 and a 1/2 weeks later, I have had them filled here and am totally satisfied with how they turned out at Diamond Nails, saved a lot of time and money, just needed to get them filled and no complete new set. This is the place where I go to get my nails done quite frequently. I have always received great service in a timely fashion. However this last time I have had quite a problem with the quality of how my nails came out. I would like to think that this is a one time thing and have been in a few times this week to get them fixed already. They have been extremely apologetic and are making sure that they are fixing the problem so I cannot complain. Any business that recognizes the problem and fixes it right away is good in my book. the worst place to get nails done. i would love to put the rating a 0 but i can not. well getting my acrylics done they ripped of all my nail and caused me a lot of pain. as i pointed out the mistakes she barely even fixed them. then when it was time to pay my total came out to $48.16 and they added there own tip because i did not our a dash threw the line. and they tried to charge my friend for a mani and a pedi when she only got one coat on her feet. i can not stress enough how bad this place is DO NOT GO!!! read more

I am appalled at the service and quality of this place. I went in two days ago and got basic acrylic nails with paint, and have already had one nail fall off. When I was getting them done, the girl didn't ask how long I wanted them, or what shape I preferred, she just did them. Not to mention that she pushed my cuticles down and then didn't make/paint the nails down far enough so they already look grown out as if I've had them for weeks. It took over an hour and a half because she kept sitting there talking to the other girls for minutes at a time like I wasn't even there. And another employee was on the phone the entire time she was doing the nails of the girl next to me. I rarely spend the money and take the time to get my nails done so I am really really upset.
