They were only able to offer an estimate of the repair cost ..."around xxx$" , and the time necessary for repair. I understand the tentative nature of the estimate as the sale staff is not involved with the repair process, only completing paperwork and intake. I prefer to work with a jeweler that can evaluate my piece, provide an educated estimate of repair cost and perform the service onsite. That was not the case with this business so, disappointed, I chose to continue my search for a business that could meet my expectations.
