This was my first facial, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect going in. During the…read moreappointment, there wasn't much explanation about what products were being used or what steps were happening next, which made it a little difficult to fully relax since I didn't know what was being done to my skin. She did ask some questions about my skincare and skin concerns, but some of the responses to my answers made me feel a bit embarrassed and self-conscious about my skin rather than supported or educated. As someone new to facials, I was hoping for more guidance and encouragement rather than feeling like my skin was being judged. When it came to the extractions, some of them felt quite forceful and were pretty painful. The pressure used felt a bit aggressive at times, and the way the towels were used on my face also felt a little rough rather than soft and soothing. Because of that, I didn't necessarily enjoy the process as much as I had hoped. That said, I do love how my skin feels a few days afterward--my skin definitely looks and feels refreshed. I just wish the experience itself had been gentler, more communicative, and a bit more reassuring for a first-time facial.

Cassie at the front desk delighted in telling me that "State Law prevents us from honoring this gift," when I asked what law, she changed her story to say that it's their own entrepreneurial law. I planned to tip the full amount of the certificate. I thought this was the first step to a healthy change and likely would have become a regular client. Why? Why not offer a discount? Why not offer a price list for a shorter massage? Why be so ugly? Please don't waste your time or money on this business, they don't care. Unprofessional and petty. It was not a good vibe. Cassie snapped at someone else in the office about the AC and how it was only cool in one spot and she couldn't enjoy it between customers. It made me feel like I was the problem today.

Let me start by saying, we have been here multiple times with no complaints at all. However, this…read moretime, I booked online like I usually do. The system allowed me to book a 1.5-hour body massage and a 1-hour foot/leg massage, so total massage for both of us was to be 2.5-hour massage. We both truly needed this! I received multiple calls the next morning, and when I was available to answer the call, the lady seemed frustrated that I had not answered yet. I did try to return her call, but it kept saying it wasn't a working number. I did finally speak with her, and she needed to change our appointments to an hour later. No big deal at all. We arrive; they were all sitting outside. They looked at us strangely as we walked up. I advised we both have appointments for 2.5-hour massages, and that I had spoken with her earlier that morning. She said they could only do a 2-hour massage due to other customer appointments. We agreed to the change. The massage!! Let's just say it brought "deep tissue" to another level. At one point, I thought he was trying to push my entire body through the table. We both have multiple bruises on our backs and legs. I hurt worse now than when I went in, and so does my husband. When he asked her to ease up on his calves, he said she seemed to massage deeper. Out of all the times we have been there this was the absolute worst visit, and most painful. I have never left a massage feeling of needing another massage. Actually, as sore as I am still, I couldn't handle another massage right now. So sore that I feel sick.

The woman who did my massage did not ask me the level I wanted and proceeded to go so rough I was almost in tears. It seemed there might have been a language barrier but I left in so much pain. My husband said his massage was so soft that it did nothing for him. And when I went to check out, the man at the desk made sure to remind me of the tip portion. It was not a clean facility as there was visible dirt on the floors and walls. I will never be returning. I want nothing more than a refund as this couples massage was not worth the $160 we spent. Do not recommend, do not waste your money.
