The customer service here is terrible. I get better service at a rundown Wendy's. The receptionists acted like they couldn't be bothered. The fact I was a customer with new business didn't seem to mean anything to them. They weren't helpful at all. I'm glad I got my stuff done so I never have to go back there again. Horrible customer service and they refuse to issue our refund of $834.15 when we cancelled our order before stock arrived. I had a pen as gift for engraving, the result came out fantastic. And the price is really reasonable.

NEVER, EVER USE THESE AMATEURS! The traditional 15th anniversary gift is engraved crystal. I bought a beautiful Waterford Crystal vase (think hundreds of dollars) and took it to them for engraving. They looked at the vase and had no issues with it, said it would work fine and that it would be beautiful. This is 2 days before my anniversary. Went through the process to approve proofs and was ready to pay the rush fee so that I could have it before the date. At about 5:00 pm that evening I get a docusign email saying they needed it. Basically its a waiver releasing them from all liability. This made me nervous because I was picking it up the next morning. I signed the document in the morning before picking up the vase to ensure there were no delays. (huge mistake on my part) When I went to pick it up the owner came out and said he had bad news. The engraving effectively ruined the vase. It was blurred, mis-centered and just horrible. He said it actually fell off their engraving machine TWICE! The owner asked what he could do (remember this is about 18 hours before I was going to give the gift). I told him to start, he could replace the vase. He said he couldn't do that but generously offered free engraving! Basically nothing. So now, I'm out the cost of the vase, I have a few hours to find something appropriate for my wife and I'm frustrated. Save yourself my fate and find someone else to do your important engraving. Oh, and when I posted my issue on their FB page, they deleted the comment. And, here's the topper....they have their own employees rating their business. Work with companies who are ethical and who you can trust! Latest update...after I posted this review they went to their Facebook page and solicited good reviews. Notice the timing of the reviews after mine. On their website they say "We stand behind our products and are committed to customer satisfaction". All it would take for me to be satisfied is some sort of real gesture to remedy their mistakes. So far all I've seen is attempts to hide their mistake and misrepresent their business. read more

I have been dealing with engraving companies for many years. I have never had to sign some waiver from any of these companies. In my expirence, this demonstrates their lack of quality. Why would you bring them something to engrave if the first thing they want you to do is sign something saying that they might mess up and it's your fault if diamondback does. I gave them a yeti cup to engrave and it looked terrible. Will, the owner, made me eat the cost of the cup because of poor quality graphic design, i had to buy another yeti rambler. If in austin, use rambler on or perfect etch for your yeti engraving. read more

I brought in over 500 stainless steel cups, to be engraved for an event for my business. It was a last minute idea, and I needed my cups finished within 2 days (which they did for me on time). When I came in with my order their sales manager came out to greet me, and I explained that it was my first time marketing with cups. He was friendly and explained to me that they work directly with many marketing companies; he and their graphic designer helped me come up with a design for my event. He gave me a great price, and said he could offer discounts if I buy the cups from them next time. My cups came out perfect, and my clients were very impressed with my hand outs. I went back to Diamondback Engraving for my second order, and this time I ordered the tumblers directly from them. The sales manager honored the verbal discount he quoted me on my last order with no problem; not only did my Logo look great on this order, they actually engraved different quantities of this order in black, copper, gray, and white. The different colors were awesome, and my clients were all very impressed with this round of cups as well. I am a realtor and needed a last minute closing gift for a young first time homebuyer. I got an advertising email from Diamondback Engraving so I sent them an email with a few questions particularly in regards to turnaround time and logo Engraving. The CEO responded right away and said they could get it done. I placed my order that afternoon (a Tuesday), and by Wednesday morning their design department had already sent me a proof of my logo and my client's initials (and it was spot on). I approved it and my order shipped out that afternoon and arrived on Thursday (a 2-day turnaround with Engraving)! And the pricing was awesome.
