I have previously "window shopped" at Regard several times. The store is nice and clean, and you are greeted the minute you walk in and made to feel comfortable upon entering. Recently took a Rolex Day/Date/President in for service. It needed quite a bit of work. They gave me a quote for all repairs, service and cleaning. When I picked it up, I was so stunned. They had done an amazing job...many thanks to Aaron who out did himself. The second factor was they actually came in somewhat below their quote. That rarely happens with anything! I came here to fix an anklet recently, and service was extremely fast and the person serving me (I'm assuming the owner) was extremely nice. The space is in a weird location, parking is at the back, and the shop is in the middle of the stretch of shops, with the door entry in the middle walkway of the stretch. I want to thank the team at Regard, they are by far the best jewelers I have encountered in a long time. They are artists and craftsmen. The first time I used them was to repair a couple of Tiffany and Judith Ripka silver bracelets, a real small job, little money, but what they did was so impressive. They didn't just repair them, they merged them to create this unique and lovely piece I adore and wear every day. I then decided to redesign a couple of old pieces-I had three platinum rings, and a couple of stones laying around. I took them to Dan, showed him my design, he said he can do it, and quoted me a very reasonable price which made it easy to trust him. Again, not a lot of money, but they created this gorgeous ring out of the fragments I brought them. I picked up my ring today-I am sooooo HAPPY with it. Found Regard on Yelp with solid 5 star reviews. Contacted them and received a reply in minutes. Took the ring in and they gave a fair quote with a full rundown of the process, not simple either. They basically ruined a $500 Seiko watch. First crystal replacement a couple of years ago was fine, so I went back. Within one day of picking up the next repaired watch, the crystal fell off and water got in the watch. The repair guy said that he had never seen a crystal fall off. They repaired it, but it looks terrible. The face is very discolored, and I can barely read the time. If they f*** up a $500 watch, I would definitely not take an expensive watch to them. read more

Stunning collection of jewelry and amazing family that own and run it!! I believe Drew helped me when we first walked in and was kind and warm and welcoming. As a little intimidated because I was with my niece and her boyfriend and and gym clothes just running around for the day but I needed to get my ring cleaned and my niece pointed out this spot. We were immediately welcomed and as my ring was being cleaned my niece and I looked at some different pieces. I was blown away when they told me about all of their customization options and the fact that they had been collecting Stones since the '70s. Special Kudos and many thanks to the watchmaker, Aaron, and the Regards staff for honoring a previous warranty and repairing my Date-Just watch. After 2 other "watchmakers" and jewelry shops kept my watch for over half a year, attempting to get the date and day of the week components to work, Aaron got it in working order in a matter of weeks. Most of the time he was waiting for parts from Rolex. I am thrilled to know that once again there is someone in Austin that knows how to work on these complicated watches. regard jewelry is an incredibly special place, i can hardly even say. my original engagement ring, through a long, sad series, went through the garbage disposal and which utterly destroyed, which broke my heart. i posted about it on social media and regard actually reached out to see if they could do anything to help. they recreated the ring for me using a beautiful new stone, giving it new life but still honoring the beautiful and timeless original design. working with them was a breeze because they did all the work, and even shipped it back to me in florida!! I had (kind of) an unconventional project for a jewelry repair shop as my metal-framed glasses broke. I sent a request for a quote late at night and received a response within 20 minutes. I went in the next day and was welcomed right when I walked through the door. They asked for my glasses and took it in to fix it. I struck a casual conversation with one of the workers who initially welcomed me and really enjoyed the conversation we had. After a few minutes my glasses were fixed. Not to mention, I broke the glasses again the same day but they invited me back the next day to fix it again, this time trying different methods for extra strength. I haven't ever really been to a jewelry repair shop so I can be biased, but my experience with this store has been more than wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Hopefully my review helps to those deciding wether to come to this store: I say go for it! You will be in good hands. read more

It was alright.. I needed my eternity band resized and... It's the right size but the new stones aren't flush. I can see the place where they added the new section and it's visible and quite imperfect. It also took two weeks longer than they promised. Another ring needed to be resized along with that order and they failed to do that and write it down on the order with another repair. I don't feel valued for my time when I call in or when I'm there. I was told they would call me when the ring was ready and they didn't. I was waiting for one other customer to be done bring helped and waited almost 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. read more

I went in about a week ago to get a rush job engraving a medical ID bracelet and the jeweler was able to accommodate in an hour just before closing time. I won't encourage anyone to do that to him again, but I say it because it was very important to me. There was only one jeweler there. I was really impressed with how professional but nice he was and he gave a discount from Yelp, also at the last minute when I happened to see it before he had known it was posted. We sized the bracelet at no extra cost, but I needed to wear it for a few days to decide whether sizing was practical. Since it's an ID bracelet I have to wear 24/7, I care much more than I would, otherwise. The jeweler gave me the link he had taken out when I had completely skipped that part before leaving! It turned out that his prediction that I would want more links out was correct. Today there are three employees, quick to help and decide how many more links to take out, and they're doing it as a courtesy. These aren't easy links, so I'm really glad I decided on this jewelry shop. read more

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Regard. I came to them with an engagement ring that had been purchased from another jeweler. That jeweler had really damaged the ring when they resized it to make it smaller. I was so sad. I wanted the ring to be perfect because I of course want to wear it forever. A coworker recommended Regard because she had gotten a ring from them that was drop dead gorgeous. Daniel was incredibly helpful in creating a new ring for me that is so perfect I look at it all the time! He also designed an incredible wedding ring using diamonds from family heirloom jewelry.
