Unfortunately, I'm updating my review because of how I was treated during my most recent experience. I booked an appointment through GlossGenius, which is the salon's own online booking system. After booking, I sent a text to confirm. The only response I received, twice, was that she was the only person there and was currently braiding someone else's hair. She never offered another available appointment time or attempted to accommodate me. Instead, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong for using the booking system that THEY provide. As a customer, that's not my responsibility. If your booking system allows appointments that aren't actually available, that issue should be addressed internally, not taken out on your clients. To make matters worse, I was left with a $20 authorization hold on my card while also having to find another braider. I work hard for my money, and I'll never beg someone to let me spend it. During our conversation, I was also spoken to unprofessionally and profanity was used, which was completely unnecessary. I even drove to the salon around 3:00 p.m. on a Thursday, and the shop was completely closed. The doors were locked, the lights were off, and no one was there. This isn't about one scheduling conflict because those happen. It's about communication, professionalism, and customer service. A simple apology and an alternative appointment time would have gone a long way. Instead, I was blamed for booking an appointment through the salon's own scheduling system. It's disappointing because I genuinely supported this business for almost a year and happily recommended it to others. Sadly, after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this review encourages improvements in communication so future customers don't have the same experience.

The stylist allowed someone who was clearly not properly trained to work on my hair, and the results show it. I specifically asked for knotless braids, but half of my head is box braids. On top of that, she ran out of the hair color I paid for, leaving me with three different colors in my head. It looks uneven and sloppy. I paid $220 for this service, and when I reached out for help, Ms. Canner ignored my calls and texts. She initially admitted fault and talked about fixing it, but then refused to reschedule or issue a refund. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. No client should leave a salon with damaged, mismatched, and incomplete work--then be ignored when asking for a solution. I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

I'm so glad I said yes because she did an AMAZING job. Just to note, these photos are of my brows freshly done. The tint has to sit for a couple of hours before being wiped off, so they will fade slightly. Even knowing that, I can already tell the final result is going to be perfect. I've also been coming here for my nails, and the customer service is consistently top tier. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and truly takes their time with you.
