Do not use this business!!! Booked for a wine tour in July 2023. Booked months in advance. Debbie was very disorganized. Did not book deposit for months and after many calls to confirm reservation. We were told a driver would call us a few days prior to the booking date. No call received. Called Debbie the day before the booking only to find out she wrote the wrong number down. Gave her the correct number. Still no call received. The day of the wine tour no one showed up. Called Debbie who said no one was coming. She said she would have called but she did not have the right number. She said there was nothing she could do. Very little empathy for letting us down for a trip we spent months looking forward to. My boyfriend and I reserved a limo for our prom; he tried to reach out to make the down payment many times but to no avail. They told us 5 days before prom that there aren't any limos available for that day even though they said they had limos available when we made the reservation 1 month ago. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR MY DAUGHTERS 9TH BIRTHDAY. Called a week prior to the date I needed and spoke to Debbie and made a reservation for a limo to pick up my daughter & her friends for her birthday celebration on Sunday. I gave the date, time and location needed.  She told me the price and took my card information and told me the driver would call me Friday or Saturday to reconfirm my reservation. Friday came and I heard nothing, Saturday came and I heard nothing. So by Saturday afternoon I called to make sure my reservation was all set since I hadn't heard from anyone. Debbie answered, I told her why I was calling and she said she would call me right back. Shortly after I got off the phone I got a text stating "Reservation is all set for tomorrow.  Chauffeur will call you after his ru. Today. " so fast forward to Saturday night at 9pm, I still hadn't heard from my driver so I text the same number that text me a confirmation to explain that the limo was a surprise for my daughter a d what entrance I needed the limo at to not ruin the surprise etc. I got a text back saying "OK ty" now let's go to Sunday at 1230 ( the time of my reservation) I have all 5 girls with me for this limo. I call and Debbie answered again and she seems very lost and confused. She asked for my last name and tells me she doesn't have a reservation for me. She doesn't recall speaking to me because "she books a lot of limos". I remind her of the conversation we had and how I even got a text about my reservation. She explains to me that she probably can't get a driver for an hour, its Sunday and difficult to get drivers And she tells me she doesn't know what she wants me to do.  She proceeds to tell me she probably can't get a driver for another hour or so. Well that defeats the purpose because the girls had an appt in 30 mins that they had to be at. She offered to have the limo pick the girls up at the appt. I said sure and she said she would call me back. She called me back eventually and said she still couldn't find a driver and explained that what happened was she probably scheduled my reservation for the wrong weekend. Which doesn't make sense when someone text me to confirm my reservation for the correct day. She doesn't know who texts me ( even though I called the number back and debbie answered and said that that number gets forwarded to the main office.) She offered to give me a free limo for next weekend. Well my daughter is celebrating her birthday with her friends this weekend not next weekend so that doesn't help me at all. WARNING WARNING!!!!! Don't reserve a limo from this company for your wedding or any significant event! They won't show up and they only had excuses for their error! The whole wedding party was left with no way to get to the event. We called throughout the whole month and got voicemails every time and left our name and phone number every time and no one ever returned our call at all. After the event on the following Monday we called and talked with 'Debbie' and she said that they had sent an email over a week prior to the event and stated that they didn't have a phone number for the reservation. But she also said they haven't been checking their voicemails...What? That is not good business practice. Are you kidding me? They did apologize but took no responsibility for their error. We reserved a limo for a wine tour months in advance. They called us a week before our event to let us know about a vehicle change, that they needed to switch us to a tour van. Some in our party had experience with tour vans and we said that is fine, as long as the cost is not higher. It turns out that what they really were providing us is a MINIVAN. Our driver was great, and we know that it was likely as inconveniencing for him as it was for us, given that there was NO divider between front and back, or the usual space to provide distance and privacy for the guests and driver. It's one thing to be in a pinch as a business and not be able to provide the product or services requested, BUT to be misleading and charge the SAME amount as an actual limo is downright bad business and horrible customer service. read more

Horrible experience! Horrible customer service! They cancelled on us 5 days before our event. Said they didn't have a vehicle for us. I suggested renting a van (we didn't care what we were in to tour wineries and celebrate a 50th birthday). They then said they didn't have a driver, but maybe they could get one (where is our original driver??) It was excuse after excuse. They strung me along all week and never called me back - I had to keep calling them. I spoke with both co-owners who were arrogant and could have cared less. Who cancels on someone 5 days out? Made arrangements a month in advance to have my wife and I picked up at the Hyatt and driven to our Daughter's wedding reception at Artisan Works. Pick-up was scheduled for the same time as the St. Patricks parade. That morning, we spoke with local police officers and they advised us on the best pick-up route. We called Diamond Limo, sent detailed directions in writing and offered to pay more to have car sent early. They told us this would not be necessary and our car would be on time. Despite this, Diamond Limo did no advance planning, dispatched the driver less than 15-minutes before pick-up and we were almost an hour late to our daughter's wedding. Terrible service and if we could give negative stars, we would. Recommend avoiding this merchant. read more

Pros: The driver was very friendly (I gave this one star just for him) Cons: I was called 5 days before the event and told that our limo was in a accident and had cosmetic damage. They offered me 100 discount which I accepted. Once we were all on the limo the driver informed me that the damage was fixed and the owner of the company was taking back the discount and she went ahead and took the extra 100 off my card. She also hung up the phone on me (not professional) I would never recommend this company to anyone and I hope they get shut down for shady business. read more

We used Diamonds for a bachelorette party wine tour around Seneca Lake. The initial booking with Debbie was simple and smooth and our driver, Willie, was great! He checked in a few days before our trip to go over our itinerary and contract. He was on time, friendly, and accommodating. We couldn't have been happier with him! The only hurdle was after booking and before the trip itself: communication was rocky and confusing. They recovered well, but it was nerve-wracking for about a week. I want to express my sincere disappointment with the services we were provided for our wedding on Saturday. The driver called me in the morning asking where he needed to be even when it was all clearly provided and listed on contract. Your paperwork said we had a remaining balance even when you were paid the month before the wedding as requested and the driver argued with the groom and my mother in law about it. The driver was late picking me up, making us late and behind for first look pictures. His driving was poor and the limo was old, even when you're site said the limo we were getting was NEW. There was food on the seat, and we didn't bring ANY food into the limo, so my bridesmaid had her dress stained before the ceremony even happened. Overall, I will never recommend your services to anyone and I plan and providing reviews where I can because this was the biggest disappointment and flaw from our wedding and clearly should have went with a competitor. Please know for future brides, none of this should happen and you need to do a better job at selecting your drivers, and being transparent about your poor services. read more

Diamond Limousine almost single-handedly ruined my daughters wedding ceremony ! Where do i begin. One week before the wedding Diamond called to tell us the brakes on the Trolley we ordered broke. Brakes wear out over time, not overnight. I was told i was "lucky" to get a call one week ahead that most companies call one day before. Diamond requires full payment with a bank check 30 days in advance so we were locked in. Diamond offered a limo bus, not the feeling we wanted for an outside ceremony & reception on a farm. We had no choice but to use the limo bus. On the day of the wedding the driver got lost, which was shocking as directions were confirmed several times and easily accessible on GPS. What happened next was truly unbelievable! Just as we were about to walk down the aisle the driver came up to us waving a piece of paper and asking for a signature.THIS WAS THE STRANGEST AND RUDEST THING I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. She wanted me to sign this paper ( a receipt/acknowledgement that i learned later she was supposed to have us sign at the beginning of the day.) We had no idea what the paper was about, and said we were in the middle of our daughters wedding and she'd have to wait. Instead, the driver decided to leave DURING THE CEREMONY emitting a loud BEEP when in reverse. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP was all everyone could hear . I learned later from the driver that it was her boss who told her to leave. Company culture trickles down from the top. HORRIBLE experience from the start to finish !!! read more

Great prices and service they provide a uniform look. Glasses with diamond shaped napkins ice candy. Drivers are very professional and safe. Cars are kept neat and clean. Also, they offer packages for every occasion with fair pricing. Great office staff and the owners Duane and Debbie are always available to the customers. The good: - The person who originally took my reservation was great, very accommodating so I thought that it would be a good experience. - price seemed good - I received an extra "free-hour" which was great since time is key during a wine tour! - Driver was on time. The bad: - During the week leading up to our event I called several times hoping to confirm for the day. No one ever called me back. - Probably the biggest disappointment: When you rent from them you get a choice of water or champagne. We chose champagne. They stocked water. - perhaps this could have been avoided if they confirmed with me or returned my calls. - The AC was terrible. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE! We had a confirmed booking via email and on the phone, I even gave them my credit card information for a deposit. I called several times to ensure that everything was in order and never heard back. A week before our event, I finally talked to someone who told me that our reservation was no longer valid due to not paying the deposit. They told me I never paid the deposit, despite me giving them my info. Overall, a total lack of communication and dishonesty on their end. read more

Biggest issue is with the vehicle itself. The heat did not work the entire time we were on the bus!! It was on the highest heat and full blast but the whole time it shot out freezing cold air. It was only about 25 degrees outside that night so it was really cold on the bus. And the ride was so incredibly bumpy we couldn't even drink our drinks without fear of spilling them all over ourselves. Only plus - The driver was nice. read more

Would not recommend, too many last minute changes: Recently used Diamond for a wine tour on Seneca Lake. The week before my event our assigned driver, Willie, called me and we talked about the places we wanted to go. He then followed up with a text the evening before to confirm he had a route mapped out. I thought this was great and was looking forward to the day. Two hours before pick up i get a call from the main office telling me the car i had selected ("the Presidential" SUV) had a fuel pump issue and they would not be able to use it. They offered to refund my money or send me a Lincoln Town Car. One would expect a significant cost difference, but no, it was a "savings" of $40. I didn't want to ruin the day with only 2 hours notice, so i said yes and accepted the town car. The car shows up and lo and behold the driver is NOT Willie, but Tony. Tony had not been given the information on where we were headed prior to his arrival. When I inquired about what happened to our scheduled driver he didn't know, just explained that he was called last minute to switch his route and take us. (he was great BTW) I understand that cars break down and people may call in sick, but i would think at least the itinerary would have been shared. I also felt there should have been more of a discount for the inconvenience of the car. (even with the smaller car it was still over $400) While there were only 4 of us, you can't really fit 3 people comfortably in the back of a town car. Our driver Tony was great, this rating in no way reflects the service he provided. He got us safely where we needed to go and was pleasant to talk to (small car meant one of us had to ride in the front the whole time) At the end of the tour when i went to pay, the invoice had not been updated with the correct price. I attempted to contact the office and got the answering machine. Tony was able to reach Debbie from the main office who confirmed the invoice was incorrect and what my costs would be. I made changes to the form before signing. We gave Tony a great tip and a lot of thanks for a fun time out, but would not use this company again due to unreliable vehicles and little empathy for the effect that has on the event. Looks like we weren't the only ones with similar issues per these reviews. Wish i had read further prior to booking. read more

This is an absolutely horrendous company to deal with. We have a wheel chair member in our bridal party and we booked them, with a heavy deposit...despite all of the negative the reviews just because they were the only company in town with a wheel chair lift limo/trolley. After 3 months of emails ....One week after the deposit was given we get a call to "follow up on our inquiry" they had no knowledge of our deposit and couldn't find it anywhere in their system despite it being a credit card transaction. They then told us that the wheel chair access trolley was already booked when we got upset with that statement, they changed the answer to that vehicle is being sold and no longer part of their line up. The day of our anniversary I called to confirm the pickup time and plans. Then, unbelievably, THE CAR NEVER SHOWED!! I called repeatedly called only to get voicemail. Someone finally answered about 45 minutes AFTER the car was supposed to pick us up. They really didn't seem to appreciate (or care) that our plans for the evening were completely ruined. I would not recommend this company. I received a call the night before the event that they could not contact the chauffer. They were going to do a different driver for the bus if they could find one but cut my trip short for almost no change in price. They were over booked. They finally found a different driver. The driver was late. Picked up the incorrect group. The limo driver was not safe. She rarely drove a limo. Didn't know where the winery was located. Didn't listen to us or program the gps correctly. We had to give her directions. She would slam on the breaks so we would fall off the seat and were almost rear ended on several occasions. She pulled out and stopped in traffic. We almost were T-boned because she would pull out in traffic. The limo door didn't close properly. There was a large gap that we could see outside and feel airflow. She then argued that we couldn't have extra time to make up her being late or getting lost. It was an awful company that did not follow safety regulations. I planned the trip months in advance only to be disappointed. I had to speak to her several times about following road safety to prevent injuries. read more

My fiance ordered diamonds limo for his brother's bachelor party, which was a beer tour around the finger lakes for the afternoon. It was around $500 (which we thought was pretty pricey), and he put down a $100 deposit, therefore thinking he owed $400 in cash the day of. Unbeknownst to us, the "deposit" did not count towards the $500. So he ended paying $600 total on the limo. He felt this was not communicated whatsoever. read more

Diamonds Limousine is by far THE WORST limousine and party bus company I've ever worked with. They were hired for my wedding, they never decorated, there were no lights, there was no A/C (and my wedding was during the Summer) and no complimentary stuff that came with the package we paid for was available and on top of that Junior (the first driver we had) said that we still owed them extra money that was NEVER conveyed to us. We called the company multiple times and spoke a few times with one of the owners and she never had time to talk and solve the matter and her husband never appeared. When I called one last time she replied saying that she didn't know what I wanted from them, that they never received phone calls nor e-mails (we sent four e-mails). I asked them for some sort of compensation for ruining a huge part of my wedding, she said she'd consult with her husband and they never responded back to me nor my husband. read more

Run the other way! Avoid at all costs! Took a wine tour with Diamonds Limousine last weekend. We expected a limo bus and we sent a trolly limo which was just as old as it sounds. It broke down on Route 490 before we even got out of town! That should've been our first clue that this was a bad idea. It stalled an additional 3 or 4 times along the route until it finally broke down for good on route 14 just North of Watkins Glen. We were stuck along the side of the road for 4 hours! Needless to say we missed several of our scheduled winery stops (not to mention being late for the 2 we were able to get to due to the stall on 490). We were also nowhere near any facilities and had to walk back to Watkins Glen to find restrooms! In discussions to remedy this sorry excuse for a wine tour my friend was told that they could've just left us along the side of the road!! Despicable! No resolution yet. I do have to say that our driver, Jim was a gentleman and took all the problems in stride( (he had to fiddle with something in the engine everytime it stalled) and offered to help us in any way possible. read more

Not only horrible customer service but an overall terrible experience. The drivers do not know where they are going and they take that out of your paid for time. They were an hour and a half late to pick us up and did not keep their word saying they would charge less. We ended up having to pay double the original agreement and we were left stranded at a hotel. I would never recommend them to anyone ever again. One star is far too many stars for this company! Pleasepleaseplease, I'm BEGGING you to never, ever, EVER reserve a limo through Diamonds Limousine in Rochester. Unless, of course, you enjoy paying for a limo that doesn't show up. I had booked a limo to surprise my daughter and her friends the other day for her 10th birthday. My daughter has ALWAYS wanted to ride in a limo, so this was the PERFECT gift. I was SO BEYOND excited. They took my reservation...then they lost my reservation a week later, so I went through the whole process with them again. The price was much higher the second time, strangely, and they happily charged my card for the entire thing, well before my event date. Then, ONE HOUR before the party, they called and said, "sorry, our driver is sick, we can't come". How do they not have a back-up driver?! Guys. This was THE ONLY THING I had planned for my daughter's 10th birthday. THIS was going to be the memory-maker. An hour to go until her friends showed up at my house....and now I had nothing. Throughout the whole clumsy ordeal of actually making the reservation, I think I said at least 5 times to different people, "I have no confidence that they will actually show up that day"....I guess I should have listened to that gut feeling a little closer. Don't do it. Don't call them, and don't let your friends call them! Call a company that maybe has like, TWO drivers. read more

We booked a limo from Diamonds Limousine and sedan service 722 West Henrietta 30 mins before out pickup time of 12pm they called to say that the air was broken in the limo. It was at least 80 degrees so relativity hot, too hot to not have the air work. I asked them if that should be something that should have been caught the day before if they do regular maintenance on their vehicles. I spoke to Lisa who was extremely rude!! I asked her if we could be upgraded to another limo. she said that they were all booked or the day.I eventually got hung up on. When I called back it went to voice mail twice, I then had to call private. she said they were all booked and had no other cars. I called back again and no answer so I had to call from my work phone to get her to pick up. This behavior went on all day me trying to contact some one but no luck if I called from my number. The limo was an half hour late and when they finally pulled up they drove off without stopping. (we were in the hall because it was too hot to stand outside) I had to call the company again to find out where the limo driver drove of to. When he finally showed we were quoted 244 for the lime. But when the driver came he quoted us 320 a difference of 76 dollars. The driver said this included gratuity, however in all the few weeks of communication this "gratuity" price was never included. The limo was old and ratty, the carpet was coming up and the radio barley worked. We kept trying to get a hold of Lisa, I called from someone else phone and when she realized it was me she put me on hold, but not before giving me a run around about the rices. The manager was suppose to contact us by 5pm (when he apparently comes in, What manager starts at 5?) but no surprise. No call back. I feel like we were scammed and mistreated this is no way to run a business. If a bacalorette can be ruined by these shenanigans I couldn't imagine who else they are scamming and frustrated too. read more

Our driver, Bob, was both incompetent and arrogant...He continually got lost, even when we told him how to get where we were going, drove so fast and swerved so much that several in our group slid across the seats and became nauseous, called to us like we were wayward children at our last stop because he needed to leave or he'd "get in trouble with the boss," then argued with us when we said we were unhappy with his service. We would have been able to laugh about the experience because it was so ludicrous if Bob wasn't so rude. He said he was their best driver...so beware! read more

Was notified the day before that our limo bus was placed out of service by the NY DOT and a replacement would be sent leaving us with virtually with no other options on such short notice. They arrived on 10/28 with an old dilapidated short transport bus which was not even close to what re reserved. After contacting the NY DOT I learned diamonds requested bus 21 which was our reserved limo bus be permanently taken out of service. I feel diamonds used this as an excuse not to provide us with the limo bus previously agreed upon. They knew over a month before that we were not getting what we reserved and only gave us a days notice.deceptive business practices like this, makes diamond limo service a bottom feeder of a transportation company. read more
