Very unprofessional and condescending. Set 1 foot in her office and couldn't get out of there fast enough. Not even worth the effort. She was late to our appointment and really didn't apologize for that, then had a very condescending attitude about the fact that we had done our own business taxes for past years--and only needed her services for the current year. She has an accent so I think people confuse her for being rude but she's really not, maybe a bit straightforward but that's fair as she's running a business!! I was a bit apprehensive after calling her but once I got to her office and met her in person I was happy I went through with my appointment. Very unprofessional and Dalia will treat you like you're nothing in a heartbeat. I gave her 2+ years of my business and LOYALTY and after today will no longer be going to her. There was a mishap of communication. Moral of the story is, I needed Dalia to file something for me before the due date which is Dec 31st which was couple weeks away. I contacted her Monday, got no response. No response on Tuesday. So I contact her again Wednesday, and I guess it was her assistant that finally replied saying Dalia was out on vacation until Jan 6th, which she could've notified us in advance or at least replied and let me know when I first contacted her on Monday. I get that it's holiday season and people are busy, heck I was super busy too at work and also taking care of a little one on my own so I lost track of time. But in this industry, when the client needs something no matter if you're out of town or not and if its your business, isn't it only right that you or at least your assistant does their job correctly and give your clients a quick response and still try to help out?? I have friends that are CPA and they can work remote and always try to work around with clients. Today I saw a totally different side to her and it was not pleasant at all. Very rude, unprofessional, and quick to cut me off as a client. She lost a good loyal client who gave her 2 + YEARS OF LOYALTY AND RESPECT, she just easily told me to go somewhere else and she doesn't want to do business with me LOL. Secondly when I called her she was very unprofessional and all i asked is couple advice I needed for my new LLC so I can understand what I am doing in my new LLC. So after filing my taxes on my own I received over $5,000 more than I would have if I filed with Diamonds tax. I was told I could not file because of the very little EDD money I had received. When I asked if she could file anyways she said that was unethical and couldn't because she's licensed and can not do illegal things. TurboTax allowed me to file and submit my taxes and everything went fine. I was not asking to break the law I was asking if it can be filed as turbo tax was allowing me to. She made zero effort to ask about any additional income or situations to help us. I figured all of that out on my own. The review that states she will treat you right if she's making money off of you is 100% true. If you chose to go here just be careful to not ask questions or make her feel like she's not the professional or she will literally refuse your service. Just make sure you act accordingly because like she states they have the right to refuse service to anyone they see fit. Warranted or not. I do not leave unwarranted bad reviews. We decided to take our taxes to Diamonds Tax after being frustrated with our previous tax preparer. We were at Diamonds to just file for the upcoming tax year and came out filing an amendment to prior tax years to obtain refund from the previous year.
