We had a great tax accounting guy, but he had to move out of country due to family emergency so we had to find someone else that was closer to home with great ratings and experienced. Pete was friendly and answered all my questions through email/phone. I like that I was able to submit all my documents securely through their site. It didn't take him long to process my 2024 income tax that was filed jointly with a dependent. Sadly I broke even, but at least I know it was done by a professional. His fee was $300 which was way more than I expected. I plan to look elsewhere to see who else would be cheaper since I would pay before around $120. read more

My wife and I sold our home and started a business 7 months ago. In November of 2014 we met with an Enrolled Agent to potentially do our taxes. He was referred by a friend and supposed to be really good at what he does. He and his team came to our business, made a good pitch and said all the right things, but for some reason my wife and I did not feel comfortable with him. So after I did my due diligence and researched him, I found his reviews over the past several years to be suspect at best. Apparently he had slipped in customer satisfaction over the past several years and was not the guy he used to be. So, I changed my mind and continued my search elsewhere.
