Dr. Alia is very meticulous and experienced. I took my daughter to see Dr. Alia for a 2nd opinion and unrelated to that visit, she asked me when my daughter had her last dental cleaning. It was about 1.5 weeks ago. Dr. Alia said to my daughter, I'm sorry, honey, I have to clean your teeth. I realized that her previous dentist did not properly clean her teeth. I was very thankful that she couldn't let my daughter leave the chair until her teeth were properly cleaned. She does an amazing job every time I see her for my 6 month check up. She also did my Invisalign. Funny, how many years of braces and wearing retainers every night would come to this, but it was my old Orthodontist who created a new retainer for me that created the issue. Long story short, I have Dr. Alia to thank for my straight teeth (again). Sarah, her assistant is very knowledgable and is amazing as she is. This office is very personable and you can tell that they love what they do. She's not running a franchise or have multiple dentist work for her. What you get, is her - all of her. Really, who wouldn't want insurance to help pay for "composite veneers". Wendy says she will submit it and never does. Doesn't return emails or calls. Or should I say Wendy doesn't give messages to Ms. Douvas. There isn't a year that goes by that a fake veneer doesn't fall off or cracks in half. Don't let the chair side put veneers on; she put on one side while the Dr did the other side. YNIYN. And remember to tell them to take any cemented retainers off before the molds are done. Prior to the appointment I received e-documents to complete (normal paperwork), multiple appointment reminder texts, and confirmed insurance coverage. Upon arrival, I was greeted very friendly by the receptionist and was escorted back ~5 minutes later. I emailed previous oral history, x-rays so only needed to take a few x-rays and then Dr. Tilden came in to complete the cleaning. He said everything looked good, I'm just use to more scraping and cleaning (maybe they are just more OCD) and I wasn't offered a fluoride rinse. None of that is a deterrent for me to be a return client. Best part was I received a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss as a parting gift! Fortunately I came across The Tilden Group while doing errands locally and scheduled a cleaning and x-rays because they were running a new patient special that made the visit extremely affordable especially because I currently don't have dental or medical insurance. Taylor was extremely sweet and she prepared me for my x-rays then explained everything she saw on her screen. I was relieved to find out I didn't have any cavities or major issues and Dr. Zachary spent a lot of time giving my teeth a thorough deep cleaning without charging me extra. He used a solution from a streaming jet that cleaned my gums and targeted two years of plaque build-up. He then recommended I purchase a Burst electric toothbrush and showed me how to use it and proper flossing techniques. I felt extremely comfortable during the entire dental exam and I rescheduled a follow up cleaning in three months just to make sure I don't ignore my teeth and gums again. Highly recommend everyone here especially if you are someone who doesn't enjoy visiting the dentist!
