This review starts with mixed feelings. I know this is a good independent store. they have good…read moreproducts. I do not know if the prices are good. unfortunately I had a bed experience in this store today and I think it was a 50/50 split who caused the problem. so this it what happened. I went into store to get cat kibble. I explained to the lady there what we feed our two cats now. I think she started off wrong by calling what we feed our cats 'bologna' referring to the quality of the Vet purchased food $150 a bag plus tax. I thought this a bit forcefull, we try our best but here was a retail person putting our decision in a bad light. Further note she told me that cats don't need to drink water and only do because they are dehydrated. I told her I disagreed with her and that all cat drink water. She mentioned something about cats metabolism and again I thought her approach was not correct for retail sales. I told her she was too aggressive for retail sales. I did not swear it I was firm in making my point known. she explained that she had done research on cat food and I asked her what type of research. she told me she has a degree in biology. it went back and forth, I settled for a big bag of food and took it to the counter. she left the sales area. I told the man at the counter that she was too aggressive for retail no sales. he told me that that was my opinion and that I'm entitled to it. well of course I am. He also told me I was rude. one thing lead to another and I left the store without the cat food. I know their side of this story might be different. so if you read this please note I'm not badmouthing them in any way. I was firm in my opinion and challenged them several times to explain where they obtained their information and opinions regarding the competitions and their products. Speciality dog and cat food, toys, shampoos, beds, clothes and all kinds of goodies to spoil the furry people in your life. They also hold GreyHound Adoption/ info here which is awesome of them to do that. Always friendly and good customer service. One note though, this location is easy to miss since it is tucked away right in the corner by a pharmacy.

We have a local store called Mondou that has lesser selection and is not as well laid out. After visiting here I really wish we had a Petsmart where I live. Especially after observing all their selection. Choice is huge and extremely stocked with all kinds of items for that that Family member that goes woof or meow. Also they have fish and small rodents. I came in search of something for my dog to chew on. Really I wanted to get the most rugged chew toy he can have. My Oscar will eat deer antler bone in a week. I've talked to people in other pet stores and they say "whoa man...those should last for a month". Not with Oscar. He's a human garburator. He's a soft as a puppy but he chews through bones like a hot knife through a stick of butter. I chose a super rugged hard rubber one and so far he's happy. Price here is on the higher side but they do have a points club for frequent shopper. Also quite humorous they keep treats at the cashier for dogs that come in. On my visit we saw lots of different pooches. Great that you can bring your Fido in here. I didn't peruse their lizard, fish and reptile supplies but they do have quite a selection. Overall they should have something for that four legged friend and other pet supplies also. Come check it out you shouldn't be dissapointment. WOOF!

While the store itself was spacious, they seemed not to have as much inventory as other Petsmarts. Also their information board for adoption dates was not posted. It was there but it was completely blank.
