Sad to say I have to share. After showing my inspiration photo and the language barrier and previous times I've come to this salon since they opened I am very disappointed. They let me leave with yellowish tone in my hair after I told them I'm getting married and need my hair clear blond. They told me since it was dark outside I will see the color better in the sunlight the next day. I work 40 hours a week and am a full time mom, I don't have time to hassle with people over this. Although this is the first treatment of bleach it came out decent but my hair is fried and yellow. For $300 I'm not happy. I hope this helps. It is very hard for me to write this review now, I've never written a one star before. I was very disappointed in the communication of the place, the manager yanelis just basically walked out on me saying she just can't handle. Well, you are the face of the company so you should be able to have patience and understanding towards people. I'm not gonna write anything, just say that I got my gel nails done last nite and I took a shower this morning and that's how they looked like. I usually do not spend my time writing reviews ; however I have been thinking and thinking and I believe that my review can save another women from the pain and agony I am going through and will be going through for the years to come because of " Diana's salon" and the severe damage they did to my hair . My nightmare all began in September when I decided to give Diana's salon a chance and perform Balayage on my hair; unfortunately I was not happy with the color as it turned orange and the tone was not what I wanted . The results were not my liking and since I spent 800 dollars, I decided to go back to Diana so she can fix the color and get rid of the orange . By the way, on that day I was charged an additional 150.00 this time to correct the orange from my previous hair service (Ballayage) the week before. I should have notices the greed right there. That day, October 4th , I remember getting up from the sink at the salon to go to the mirror to check out my new hair color and I see my hair is all broken stringy like gum and damaged. The front of my once long pieces of hair now became bangs, I NEVER ASKED FOR. My front pieces of my hair completely ripped off and my hair broken to pieces. I was in shock and didn't know how to handle my hair like this . When I asked Diana and her daughter Carla what happened to my hair, they looked at me and never took responsibility or accountability. I went home that day and just realized more and more what had happened to my hair . Crying for hours and just in utter shock, I have been dying my hair for years and never did this happen to me, My hair was completely destroyed and damaged. This hair dresser and hair salon clearly do not know know the chemistry of bleach and dye's.; or else this wouldn't of happened, I repeatedly texted the salon owner demanding what happened to my hair and how we can fix this,. At this point, no money in the world could fix the damage or make my hair grow again. I understand that we are all human and make mistakes; however the attitude of this salon was a complete devastation to what I am accustomed to . After back and forth texting , She told me to come in for hair treatments for free which I did twice and honestly I don't believe they put anything of quality in my hair . Never saw a difference after the hair conditioning treatment. After going in for the second " Free treatment I decided I am wasting my time and it's time to move on. I don't want anything from this salon not even for free. The attitude I was given and service made me not want to ever go back there. I was called a "PAIN IN THE ASS "by Carla., the owner's daughter. Not once did she offer to refund my money,; instead she always tried to sell me more services to better her pocket, This business "Diana's salon" is very unprofessional and needs to learn all about customer service. The owners only care about money and not the satisfaction and happiness of their client .Unfortunately, this salon was a terrible experience and expense for me. As a result of the severe hair damage I had to invest in many hair products (hundreds of dollars) to improve my hair texture. The struggle is real and I am still dealing with the severe damage in my hair; however I found a new hair salon in Hollywood which I completely recommend "Zohar Salon" Wow what a difference at this new salon; I can say I'm finally happy after paying hundreds of dollars to STILL correct the disaster and damage from Diana's salon . The damage to my hair will take years to recover I am attaching photos for you to not only read my nightmare of a story but to also see and feel my story. Diana loves her job and always does her best and puts a lot of effort into getting it right. She tries to accommodate the customer.

Women's haircut is advertised on their website for 35. I went for a wash, cut, blow dry. In the end she also curled my hair. I knew that would be a bit extra. But when I go to pay, it's $110. She said because I got layers and not a straight cut, the actual cut is more expensive. I have NEVER heard of a hair salon charging different prices depending on how you want your hair cut. The women were nice but the quality of everything is very low. Diana kept letting the half dying blow drier suck up my hair in the back screen. (It kept turning on and off while she dried my hair) Also, they use a plastic cape to catch your hair that only goes over the back; all the hair she cuts in front of you falls on your arms and clothes. Overall, you're WAY better off going to a better salon and paying the same price. I wouldn't recommend. read more

These people are TERRIBLE and misleading. I took my daughter to DCC for a hair dye. Her hair is short and they quoted us $60 dollars. When we went to pay they charged $90 and said that they charge an extra $30 to dry. WHAT???? ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DYE YOUR HAIR AND LEAVE THE SALON WITH YOUR HAIR FING WET??????????? What really pissed me off is that they stained her forehead and didn't take it off and a week after the job was done most of the dye came off and her hair is back the old color and the roots are lighter than the rest. Also, they are pushy and aggressive sales people. They try to make you do things you don't want and keep saying how much of a great job they did and that they expect an enormous tip. read more

Christine wasn't that good at cutting hair (my hair turned out choppy and uneven, noticeable when it's straightened but not as noticeable when it's wavy/curly) and she cut off 4 inches when I only asked for 1".. but she was great at styling. & Super affordable! I decided to give this place a try because the hair stylist that I had been going to for years had been disappointing me lately. I called ahead and had my name placed on the list. I was given an approximate appointment time. I arrived a few minutes early and had to wait no more than 15 minutes. Christine took great care of me. She gave me a scalp message that took away a headache I had been dealing with for four days. She took her time to understand what I wanted and gave me the best haircut I've had in years. I had her wax my eyebrows. These came out great as well. Overall I had a great experience. I wish I could give partial stars, because Christine deserves more than four stars.... the only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is that I felt it was a bit pricey. I will go back and give them a second try. Maybe now that I only need a trim it won't be as expensive. read more

This place was wonderful! I went in for a haircut/style and to redo my full highlights. My stylist did a wonderful job with the color and they came out looking completely natural. She was very good about not damaging my hair. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the place was spotless and super chic. I recently decided to change my dark colored style to blonde. However, it was not an easy process and my hair nearly broke off. I visited the salon and was referred to Maria. This location is a little gem in Hollywood. Clean, light and fun. The staff are amicable and energetic & everyone from management to the stylists are caring and hands-on. I had my hair dyed in a balayage/flamboyage style- the first ever professional hair coloring in my short life- and they did a great job. I was super apprehensive and nervous because I have dark auburn Indian hair that's very fine, and any tinkering with it in the past used to result in oranges and chestnut colors which I absolutely hate. The staff, especially Rose, were very patient and professional and did a beautiful ash-caramel color with highlights. I will definitely be going back. read more

I had a horrible experience at salon DCC.I requested a particular Keratin process which contains no formaldehyde called magic sleek. The stylist George stated he had that product. On the day of my appointment, the product was already pre-poured in a small dish. I did not see anything that said Magic Sleek and there were no products sold in the salon by Magic Sleek . George assured me that it was Magic Sleek and explained that the owner of another salon, New Hair Concept had brought the product over because it was very expensive. This sounded very strange and I was concerned and fr made a phone call to the magic sleek representative. She checked computer and the salon have never ordered magic sleek products She also told me Magic Sleek was purple and the solution in the bowl was white. George did speak with the representative and then was very angry with me and I did not trust him and called to question him. Thanks goodness I did follow my instincts he hurriedly rinse the product off with no shampoo and I left with wet hair... Christine burned my scalp with the developer and I lost a lot of hair due to that. She doesn't know how to dry bangs either. Bad experience.

Christine was kind enough to take me on short notice. I waited less than fifteen minutes. She gave me a conditioning treatment to smooth my curly and prone to frizz hair. The massage she gave me was very good. She cut my hair with competence and as I asked. The wash cut and blow dry was $40. She was very warm and friendly and offered me coffee.
