It is always an amazing experience when I visit this spa. I've been to a lot of the high-end commercial spas (one right next door in a known hotel chain) and for some reason I always come back to this nice little cute cozy spot in Hollywood. The service is always amazing. I got treated today to a spa day from hubby and I opted for the Heaven Royal Hammam treatment, which was amazing. It consisted of a body scrub with some salts, some sauna time, rest in between, and a finish with a nice massage. What a beautiful way to spend my birthday being pampered. I'm not able to do spa days frequently, but I can tell you that when I do have the opportunity, I love this place. The owner is very nice, they've been around for years now. I've been with my best friend to get a couples massage and with my husband to get a couples massage and they never disappoint. Very relaxing. You even get a treat with Moroccan tea. This spa was great at accommodating a friend and I on a weekend trip. We called at 3:15 on a Saturday and they were able to get us in for separate massages at 5 PM. The receptionist was so nice and informative and let us know there was parking in the back. My friend and I both asked for a deep tissue massage ($100 before tip) which was explained to be very therapeutic and thorough. Unfortunately it felt like an hour rub down and far from deep tissue. They used hot towels several towels throughout the service, but it wasn't explained so it was a bit jarring each time it was introduced. My friend's towels were so hot she got burned. All in all kind people, I just can't say the service matched what we had hoped. read more

However, I'm giving it three stars because we weren't given an introduction or informed about any off-limits body parts. I didn't have an uncomfortable experience. I would just have like that. The massage was largely a rub rather than any sort of physical relief, I 100% feel like I wasted money and will now have to go for another massage tomorrow to get the relief I was looking for. I had 90min deep tissue massage on Saturday by Linda. It was by far the best I have ever had and I had many! The pressure hurts so good and exactly what I needed. Head to toe she didn't skip a beat! It was so good I went back Sunday for the traditional Moroccan hammam! Between the steam room and the exfoliating Moroccan treatment my skin felt clean and soft. She washed my hair and massages my scalp then walked me to resting area where I was offered Moroccan mint tea and dates with walnuts! Ahhhhh I felt human again!! My experience at this business was heavenly from start to finish. I called to make an appointment on Saturday and they were able to accommodate me the same day. I decided to try the royal hammam treatment which consists of hammam and massage. The lady on the phone was super nice and informed me that there is parking on the back of the building. It was easy to find the place and parking. When I walked in, the lady at the reception greeted me by name (this was my first time) and it felt quite nice. No waiting time at all - I was escorted to the bathroom to change and instructed what to do. Once I finished, my masseuse Joanna escorted me to the hammam room. This was an amazing experience- I never tried Moroccan hammam before so I didn't have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Joanna was very nice, gentle and helpful, but also applied the right amount of pressure for the scrub. I really enjoyed the experience (hammam, scrub and hair wash). Once it was done, she helped me get into a robe and escorted me to the lounge area where I laid down, relaxed and drank tea. After about 10 minutes, she escorted me to the massage room. My deep tissue massage was wonderful! Again, she was gentle but yet strong. When leaving, the lady at the reception was again so sweet and friendly. While the price for this treatment is not cheap, it is worth every penny. I recommend this spa and Joanna. I'm already planning next visit. read more

From the moment I entered Nadia greeted me like she has know me forever. I was then escort through interesting resting rooms that I am eager to try. The rooms are clean and comfortable and truly smell heavenly! Juda was my therapist who was superb the aromatic oils with the Moroccan massage was intoxicating and felt heavenly on my skin. Judas stretched me and really paid attention to my tight spots. I loved my scalp massage and the warm towels at the end of each body part! I will surely be back to try another kind of service!! NOPE! For so many reasons - do not go here! I didn't even get to see my massage therapist before we began. She knew nothing of my body and we didn't speak the same language so I can see why they just put someone in a room and the therapist comes in, but that should have been my red flag. I scheduled the 120 dollar "Ayurvedic" massage - I'm actually trained in Ayurvedic massage and there was nothing about the massage that was Ayurvedic in nature. My untrained husband does a better job than this person. No warm up - just started pushing randomly on my body. I asked her to lighten up because it was rough at first and then it was just fluff work. She was completely distracted and on her phone while I was face down. I could tell because she only had one hand on my body and I could hear the clicking. Her touch felt so random and unbalanced. The most shocking thing is how I was exposed a lot during the treatment. She had no clue how to drape someone so their private parts were not exposed!!! I had to pull the sheets tight so she wouldn't keep exposing me. I just wanted it to end. When it did - I stood at the front desk for minutes waiting, until I walked out (I was planning to call and handle whatever payment we could arrange over the phone because I just wanted out of there - I was literally shaking) the manager chased me down (understandable) and I told him what happened - he called her to the front! No no no. I told him that he can handle this with his employee - it's not my job. He discounted the treatment but I need to let people know - do not go here. These people are not trained properly - they are capable of hurting you because of the lack of training - and could expose your body in a way that's traumatizing for people who are not from the industry. read more

Got a 90 min deep tissue. Definitely did not love it, didn't hate it; however, I spoke to the owner before my massage about my low back tightness and issues and how I needed work on my low back. The massage therapist comes in and I asked if she was informed about my low back needing to be worked on and she said yes. Unfortunately she barely touched my lower back, so I left still feeling tight. I needed pressure points, true deep tissue, fascia release, something other than what I got . Again, it wasn't awful, but not what was needed especially after I informed them what I wanted/needed. read more

My friends and I visited this location recently and I had the most amazing experience! Upon entering the establishment you are greeted at the front and taken the waiting area for massages. A few hours before our appointment the manager called to inform us that three of her masseuse called out so instead of us all getting our massages at the same time, we were a party of 6, she could split the group and do the first set of 3 then an hour later the next set. I thought that was very courteous and thoughtful because most places would've waited until we arrived. My masseuse's name is Maria and she definitely did her thing. By the end of the massage I was feeling like all the knots and the stress of my week disappeared. The manager or owner Nadia was extremely helpful, she gave another friend some helpful suggestions for after surgery care, which we all thought was really nice of her to do. It's been over a week since I've gotten the deep tissue massage here and I am still in extreme pain on my left hip/waist area. Feels like a damaged nerve or a damaged muscle or something. The massage itself was borderline painful but I thought we were getting some knots removed, but there is a very sharp pain that is lasting since, and it's preventing me from being able to do many of the physical activities I engage in such as golf. Pretty frustrating experience overall and deeply regret it. Hoping to recover soon, but I highly recommend anyone else visiting to be sure to call out if you're feeling any kind of pain during the massage. Makes me wonder if the masseuses there are licensed and know what they're doing. read more

First I want to say, the place looks nice and my 60 min deep tissue massage by Erica was absolutely wonderful. This is why I am giving them 2 stars, though honestly, if I had only gotten a massage today I definitely would've given 5. Unfortunately, I decided to get a gel manicure afterwards. The girl doing them was nice but seemed inexperienced and kept tacking on layers when they were still wet. Possibly an issue with the uv lamp. At least 3 times she took off coats and tried to restart. I felt bad so I sat politely, giving her time to try again. The owner walks in and asked how much longer and the girl shows frustration saying it won't dry.. The owner does nothing to help fix the issue or offer any advice. After an hour and 20 minutes, with smudged, tacky nails, the girl looks defeated and says I'm just going to take it all off. I say okay.. it's okay.. So another 10 minutes of foil to take off the gel polish and refiling my now raw nails. She does offer to redo it in a regular nail polish but I decline; as a server I prefer gel so they don't chip easily. I say thank you for trying and get up to pay the owner. I tell the owner that the massage was wonderful but the nails did not go well at all.. She says Ok with an annoyed look, as if this was my fault. I pay for the massage, tip 20 and leave, feeling completely confused by the cold shoulder. For an owner to not even apologize for her nail techs mistakes or offer any help, is very disappointing. Before this, I was ready to get a couple's hot stone massage with my boyfriend next time, but now I don't think I will be returning. read more
