This salon and Daniel was advised by my manicurist. When I called, I was recorded in a day for a haircut and coloring and it was great! The salon lounge is bright, spacious, all the staff are very friendly and attentive. Alex and Daniel offered me drinks, found out what color I want hair, what haircut I want and started transforming. Master Daniel cut my hair great! He picked up the perfect color for me! I really liked this salon and soon I will definitely return to them again! I recommend this salon to everyone!

The best and only one hair salon I love and go. Daniel is a very professional hair stylist and do his job very well. From my long experience I can tell that he is the best one who actually listen and follow what you want to do with your hair. It's amazing to find such a knowledgeable person on who you can rely 100%. The service there is excellent. The shampoo girl is so sweet and nice. The look of salon is inside is fabulous. I recently visited Qubes last Tuesday November 18 .. I was scheduled for an appointment at 2:00 pm and waited for Daniel to finish with another client.. this was my second visit there .. I showed him a picture of a haircut I wanted .. he glanced at the photo and said he could do it.. my hair is extremely curly but I had faith I was in good hands .. unfortunately my cut was not what I desired it was just a bob .. no angles .. he gave me a terrible blow out. .. which I never expected or wanted took literally 40 minutes in total .. and sent me on my way.. I'm dissatisfied.. and disappointed.. I'm grateful that my hair grows fast.. but I will not be returning or recommending Qubes .Daniel was in a rush and not attentive to exactly what I wanted.. I went in for a curly cut and left with a undefined bob and a very frizzy blowout. read more

I got this haircut about a month ago, and I cannot thank Daniel enough for it. Hands down one of the best haircuts I had in years! Moved here 4 months ago. Been here 3 times. It's been a very good expierence every time! My 3rd time I had Lorenzo do my hair. He's been my favorite so far. There are simply not enough positive things to say about this salon, in my opinion. I struggled for a period of time to find a salon that could handle styling my hair. I have 33 inches of straight virgin hair. Since most salons were apprehensive, they repeatedly made mistakes. My decision to trim my own hair for many years is what caused it to grow so long. I made the choice to book an appointment with Daniel after reading the reviews and becoming inspired. My initial visit was so fantastic, and I still go there regularly. Daniel is a talented person, and I have great faith in his abilities. In fact, he makes such amazing things with my hair that when I go to my appointments, I don't even ask him for what I want. He creates art in whatever he does. Daniel has also created such a warm atmosphere that even my spouse enjoys accompanying me to my appointments. read more

My friend bleached my roots for me and my hair ended up turning orange! I called and they fit me in last minute I was super happy! She color corrected my hair for me, and helped my stay blonde. The woman gave a really good head massage, and the other woman had a clothing rack of real human hair freshly cut on a clothing rack!! I was amazed!! I paid 250 plus 50$ tip which was high, but I did get squeezed in and didn't have to walk around with orange hair. She was really fast! European owned (maybe Italy) but European hair forsure! I stopped in today for the first time ever .. I didn't have an appointment and was hoping they had availability for a hair cut . They did! And let me say I'm very very happy with my hair . Went here for the first time, it's local I can walk from my house. Everything was great until my boyfriend came up to make sure i was doing ok, since i'm 6 months pregnant. while he was standing at the door to come inside one of the staff members locked the door and said "with everything going on (BLM protests and all) we locked the door"and would not allow him inside. So instead of turning the place upside down, everyone can now understand how they feel about having an African American near there establishment. Will not be going back. Racism is disgusting. read more

I have driven by this salon for many months. For some reason the name really resonated with me. I searched them on line. Went through each and every review. Finally decided to just make the call. I was very fortunate that I was able to get in the same day. I walk in and was immediately greeted by a lovely young lady with a great attitude and she treated me like an old friend! One thing I am big on is cleanliness.... and this place is beautiful! To be honest, you wouldn't know it was a salon. lol he open floor plan, the piano...Before I am able to sit, I am getting prepped for an exciting transformation! Everyone came up and introduced themselves, explained what was going on and let me know who was doing what! They each spoke so highly of one another and you could tell it was genuine! Daniel, the magician hairstylist, colored and cut my hair beyond my expectations! I have received so many compliments now on how healthy my hair looks to the amazing cut. I came into The Qubes Salon by happen-chance and I'm so glad I did!!! The staff welcomed me and took great care of me even though I didn't schedule an appointment. My hair and overall appearance looked dreadful because of the wind and lack of conditioning, but that was what I was there for, as Daniel assured me I came to the right place. No judgement was felt! They shampooed and deep conditioned my hair as well gave me a blow out that made my hair look as good as if I had a color/cut! This hair salon, although relatively new to the area, is run and owned by someone with a lot of experience. The shop is clean, stylists skilled and professional, and the atmosphere very relaxing. I have actually had complete strangers come up to me on two occasions to ask where I had my hair cut because of the way my hair was cut to enhance my natural curl and my own facial points of interest. This place is chill and has about 7 chairs , a manicurist who is wonderful and a room for massages. If is not a big place , but the girl Jeanne who does my hair for 20'years is here and is fantastic. I love the vibe David adds to this place. Always different music playing. You can have a glass of wine, water and whatever they have at the time. Very dependable and does not have the hustle bustle of the big hair salons. Check it out. On Federal Highway in Dania Beach in a small outdoor shopping center with plenty of parking.

They gave me partial highlights, completely ignored the entire back section of my hair, and somehow managed to leave me with FOUR different tones -- none of which looked intentional. It's patchy, uneven, and honestly looks like it was done by someone still learning. Then they had the audacity to charge me $480 for this mess. I even tipped because no one told me gratuity was included -- of course, they kept quiet and let me pay extra without a word. That's dishonest. When I texted Silvia the SAME DAY asking if she could fix it, she completely ghosted me. No apology. No reply. Nothing. Just took the money and ran. That says everything you need to know about how they treat their clients. The prices are insane for the terrible service, poor technique, and zero accountability. This place hides behind a pretty view and a glass of champagne like that makes up for their lack of skill. It's all smoke and mirrors. Do NOT fall for the aesthetics -- this place is a total scam. I'm now stuck with damaged, multi-colored hair that I'll have to pay someone else to fix. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the damage. Avoid this place at all costs.

Sitting under the dryer as I type this…read more My hair is African American type 4, mid-back length with almost 9 months of new growth. I arrived a bit before the opening time of 9am, and was let right in. I told the stylist (Yuraima, I think) that I wanted a wash, deep condition and set, and she took me back to the sink right away. She washed my hair three times, which is once more than I usually lather it, but okay. After she applied the conditioner, she sat me under the dryer for about ten minutes, and offered me coffee, which I accepted. She even came back afterwards to make sure it was to my liking. At the sink to rinse my conditioner out, she grabbed a wide tooth comb. She rinsed me, reapplied a bit more conditioner, and combed through. She directed me to her chair, where she used a rat tail comb to section, and then patiently and gently comb through my hair. She sprayed some yummy citrus smelling concoction on it, too. To be continued once my hair is done. I sat under the dryer about 45 minutes, give or take, and then Yeimy took over the blow dry and flat iron. She asked me if I was going natural, which I am not, then seemed relieved at my answer, commenting that because my hair was long, the transition process would be "ugly" for me, and that some hair just looks better with a relaxer. I took that to mean that my natural naps would be displeasing to her eye. Minus one for this ignorance. All in all my hair looked as if it was freshly permed but with this South Florida humidity, I don't expect it to last too long. $45 for just under 3 hours, entrance to exit. There were about 6 other clients that came and went while I was there, with just the two ladies working. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the temperature inside was perfect; not too frigid, nor too warm.
