George Malkes practice is incredible. Dr. Malke and his staff are always so nice. They take their time with each patient to ensure they walk away feeling confident. I now live in Ocean County and I take the hour commute so that I can continue to be his patient. He makes everyone feel like family. I look forward to each of my visits. Side note: I get a bit nervous around needles and tools but he filled my cavities and took his time and was very kind about the whole experience. I have been a patient of Dr.Malke for almost a decade. The office is small and run by a secretary and his wife, Nadia. They make a plethora of mistakes ranging from appointments, billing issues to faulty dental work. I don't know if they're cheap or their a/c has literally been broken for 10 years, but going there on a summer day is like being in a sauna. Nadia Malke is the most unpleasant receptionist to work in any medical office and has made appointments, many times, on a day the office was closed. Even confirmed with me the day before. I took off from work that one day to run errands only to go there and see that it was closed. I was extremely upset and spoke with her the next day. She was unbelievably unapologetic, rude, and would not let me speak. Even got angry with me for telling her that I took off from work. Yet I still rescheduled and went to see Dr. Malke. She's violated HIPAA on countless occasions and when I informed her of her violations and asked her to stop, she kept on cutting me off and even started to scream at me over the phone. She refused to even acknowledge her violation. Her inability to process insurance claims properly resulted in bills that I was not responsible for. To top that off she mailed it to the wrong address along with my name and services provided, then calls me to let me know I owe them $40 every day for a week. When I spoke with her over the phone, after she was done screaming, I let her know that my insurance was covered at 100% and that she needed to call them. She was rude and unapologetic yet again. I've never encountered a person so money-hungry in my entire life. She would even speak to patients about other patients by name, clearly another violation of HIPAA. Again, I have never seen someone so unprofessional in my life. Dr.Malke is a nice guy, at least he used to be. A few years back Dr.Malke informed me that I needed fillings, so I went ahead and got them. Turns out, at my next cleaning he tells me I didn't have any cavities and they were only stains. I paid & ruined 7 of my teeth for nonexistent cavities. After a few friends complained to me about a botched root-canal and unbearable pain, that was the last straw and I've switched dentists since then. He tells people that he got his dental education from Columbia University, but after doing a background check with NJ State, he actually graduated from University of Aleppo in the Middle East. On many occasions Dr.Malke and his wife, Nadia will go ahead and run extra x-rays knowing insurance will not cover it and bill you for services you've never requested. They'll also try to convince you to get a "deep cleaning." Well this deep cleaning is actually a regular cleaning, except it's not covered under insurance and they'll bill you, call you, until you pay it. I should mention they do all the calling when you're at work, even though you tell them that beforehand. After a certain point, the botched work, lies, abusive billing practices, and erratic behavior became too much and I have a new dentist. I'm much happier. I can't truthfully recommend Dr. George Malke to anyone who cares about their teeth or money. My friends and I are no longer patients of Dr. George Malke. read more

Dr.​ Malke is an excellent Dentist and his work is good. But....be aware that even if you have been a patient for many, many years and as soon as your insurance does not pay the office what they deem their expert work, etc. is deserving of, they dump you. So...hope your insurance is excellent and continues to pay them well. Instead of keeping long time patients, they just tell you that they cannot take you anymore because your insurance​ does not pay them for their quality of service, etc. NOT cool at all!! read more

Prior to yesterday, we've only seen Dr. Malke one time. His staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the woman at the front desk. We called yesterday for a last minute appointment and were told to come right in. Dr. Malke is very personable and thorough. They make you less nervous about going to the dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Malke's for about two years and every time I go in for my annual cleaning, he always tries to find something wrong with my teeth. I don't know if that's what most dentists do, but this one sure tries hard to find something to work on. In general the office is extremely small with hygienist, assistant, and receptionist. The overall staff is very friendly, including the doctor, but I sure feel like he tries too hard to find a cavity when there really is none! The office sure needs some remodeling. The waiting room can get very crowded to a point where there are people standing to get in called for their appointment! read more

When I was 16, I visited Malke for a cleaning. I was informed I needed two route canals and several fillings. At 16 years old. I had one done by him and did not have another. The process and staff were unpleasant and I did not return to Dr. Malke. I switched dentists and at my next cleaning, my new dentist informed me that not only did I not have any cavities, I did not need a route canal on the tooth that Malke said I did. I suspected I didn't need the route canal that was originally performed either. Just had a conversation with a coworker who had a route canal done by Malke as well. After his procedure, he was not satisfied and switched dentists as well. When the new dentist inspected the tooth, he found bits of sponge left in by the doctor. I can only assume my coworkers route canal was unnecessary as well and the Malke practice was just looking for money. I would not recommend Malke and I don't know anyone from Saddle Brook who actually uses him regularly. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how he has not been investigated yet. He has received GLOWING reviews on demandforce3d.com, none lower than 4 stars, but I suspect it is his office posting them. read more

To say this was a horrible experience would be an understatement. The staff is atrocious, maybe because the office is not sanitary. They harassed me about a bill that was not even correct and then once they realized it was an error on their behalf, the woman still continued to be rude to me. I will steer clear of this place, this is NJ there is a plethora of dentists in a 4 mile radius, do not go here. They also run a scam, they will run extra Xrays and charge you additional money. Been going here for ...20 years?? very nice people, Dr Malke is extremely kind and patient and always forthright about procedures and practices, telling you what you must have done{ie something super important} and/or what alternatives you have. Never any pressure, and he is extremely patient and gentle with us cowards.I had a triple root canal and it went as smoothly as a regular filling procedure.Highly recommended!!! read more

We have been going to Dr. Malke as a family for a decade now, he is a wonderful doctor. The staff is great. They are all caring, understanding and very patient. My son loves going there, he has been going since very young and they treat him like he is part of their family.
