I am terrified of going to the dentist and have avoided going for the past four years, but I know I couldn't put it off any longer and since I pay into my insurance, why not use it. I had an amazing experience from start to finish. They put me at ease and everyone was so friendly and treated me with respect. My hygienist was very personable and very comforting because I told her that I suffer from severe anxiety and that I was very nervous. Three members of my family have been to you. Myself, my 20 year old son and my wife who started her career as a dental assistant and knows a little something about dental work. You can point the finger back at the patient, their dental care and their previous dentist but I'm guessing most people would be interested to know that all 3 of us had work done by you that had to be redone within those 3 years. You call it unprofessional for the dentist to call out? I find it refreshing that a dentist wouldn't try to overlook work done by another dentist. Your description of how you handle your phobic patients and how things are great just wasn't my experience. I had a terrible experience with you, each of my visits I felt like you didn't listen and I was a pain. I was by the way as I noted in my original review, I just don't need to be made to feel that way. My last visit I asked for another shot to numb me and you huffed and puffed, gave me a shot and disappeared to treat someone else, leaving me sitting there. I found you to be not at all patient friendly, just my opinion. Again on your work, people can decide for themselves but work all three of us are having done is not covered by insurance, because they ruled they already paid for it. read more

The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was terrific and so are the staff at the front desk. The dentist was awful. I would rate her a zero out of 10. She operates as a "drive -thru" operation. She looked at my ex-rays and was not talking to me, but about me to the assistant. I heard the word "fracture" and she left the room - presumably off to the next patient. Needless to say, I was worried about how I got a fracture and what it means. The assistant explained the issue to me and said that the dentist would have to do fillings. read more

Dr. Bleeker has been my dentist for the past fifteen years. I have security knowing that she always puts my dental health first. She has performed a bridge replacement for me about seven years ago and it is still holding strong. I like that the office uses computer imaging for my X-rays. It's so much faster and comfortable. I also like that you have two choices of how you would like your teeth cleaned. I have been so happy with my dental health care that when my daughter was old enough I started bringing her to this office. The staff is always cordial. They let you how long your wait time is. But it has been my experience that Dr. Bleeker continuously is on schedule. The Hygienists also perform a great job. I think this dental practice deserves the five stars I have given them. read more

From check in/out I had an amazing experience overall. I was actually taken on time for my appointment which is very rare for most offices but I was impressed with how efficient this office is. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!! This Dentist is very unprofessional and a butcher when it comes to dentistry, I have never experienced a dentist that was so rude. I have had to go back numerous times to get a crown, The first time she put a crown in that had a shadow, the second time she put it in with a gap !!!!!! I have never had a gap in my front teeth, she tells me she does not see anything wrong and is extremely rude, her staff even told her they see it and she insist's it perfect. This woman treated me like I was a kid, that I had no choice but to deal with it. I paid $1500.00 and will spend more on an attorney if I have to unless I get a refund just on principle. I would say to treat her office like a haunted house and stay very far away. read more

Contrary to other reviews, I have been going to Dr. Bleeker over 10 years now. I have had a crown, general dentistry, and a wisdom tooth removed. I had had the crown for many years now it is a perfect fit in my mouth, mind you it is a front tooth. I am a person with 200% anxiety. Once it was explained to me I was a candidate for gas I was able to sit through the procedures without unnecessary anxiety. I have never had a bad experience. Dentistry is not fun, often uncomfortable but in my opinion both Dr. Bleeker, Marianne and her staff are top notch. They always greet me warmly. I went in for tooth sensitivity and they fit me in quickly- within a day, and I requested the numbing q tip. The Dr gave me a needle and I did not feel a thing. This is the 1st dentist that I do not dread going to and do-not run out of the office. I will not go to anyone else and highly recommend her to family and friends. read more

I started off with bonding and then a little over a year later, it was recommended that based on my grinding situation that I get veneers. Do yourself and your friends and family a favor and DO NOT EVER GO THERE! Lori Bleeker Vanderwende is a horrible dentist who works with a lab that is equally incompetent. I spent over $10,000 in crowns and root canals with this butcher. Before the procedure she and her brainwashed dental assistants claim she'll do the job until you're happy. Then after she and her incompetent lab do the worst job possible, she refuses to re-do the job! I hired a lawyer to try to get her to re-do her horrible work or refund. Unfortunately unless she harms you and you can prove malpractice, you are screwed! She is arrogant and only cares about making the MOST money she can, by putting in the LEAST amount of effort possible. STAY AWAY!!! Update: I just read this horrible "woman's" reply.
