Diane is a kind and gentle groomer who knows what she's doing. I rescued Ziggy, my Mini Golden Doodle, when he was almost 9 months old and after trying a couple other area groomers, I brought him to Diane. She impressed me with her obvious love for dogs. Since I hadn't had a dog in many years, I wasn't sure about what he needed but she knew. We talked, Diane told me what she thought, and when I picked him up he was a happy dog who smelled great and looked even better. If I could give Diane more than 5 stars I would. I met Diane almost 3 years ago as a new dog owner for my goldendoodle puppy, Charley. Diane took such great care of my dog and helped me to train my dog at a young age to not fear any groomer or any human or child for that matter as he's aged. Charley absolutely adores coming into her salon and never gives her a hard time. He always came back to me beautiful, smelling amazing, and is clearly loved by her. I have remained consistent with Diane ever since day 1 of having Charley and refuse to go anywhere else. Diane clearly cares about her dogs and cares about the services she provides. she will give you advice and recommendations when you ask her and has clearly been an expert in this field for a long time. I have brought my dog, Tyson there approximately 5 times now. Diane and her husband do an exceptional job every time. They communicate thoroughly what they are able to do and what they plan on doing. Tyson came to them from another groomer, where he showed anxiety. Since he has been going to Diane's, he is less anxious each time. The way you treat your customers and their dogs and speak to them is deplorable and you should be ashamed of yourself. I guess I am not surprised you're not registered with the Better Business Bureau where I tried to file a complaint for your verbal harassment and obvious ignorance towards how to handle dogs and different situations. I highly recommend not going to Diane's as she and her "staff" do not treat people or dogs with respect and decency. *update* Just receive this private message I thought I'd share to further prove my point. I am going to delete the name of the person she addressed me as who I can only assume is another dissatisfied customer and they're confused: "How dare you ____________. You lied to us. We asked if your pitbull was aggressive. We got bit by your pitbull witch resulted in an urgent care visit.. We lost revenue. We gained this bad review because your dog was aggressive and you lied. We have all of this on security footage. You weren't even concerned about my husbands bite wound or your dogs well being. All you cared about was the fact we hung up the phone on you. Yes we hung up the phone to protect ourselves from your pitbull. Your going to get another person hurt with your pitbull if you continue to think your a dog trainer and rescuer." Was pleased with Diane before but no more. My bichon's last grooming was terrible. My beautiful girl looks ridiculous with shaved ears done without even asking me. Then Diane overcharged and insulted someone who I sent to her place. She didn't have scheduled appointments on her books twice. Diane's Pet Grooming has lost a lot, including my business. read more

Yeah, no. I chose this groomer because I went through a bout of skin infection (possibly due to groomer not changing out blades and using non-sanitized combs/blades) with my two Scotties that I had groomed about three months ago. Now, I've been to dog grooming school back in Atlanta, GA, and bred Scotties, as well as showed them in agility and terrier-class shows in Ocala, FL. I've had Scotties for over 35 years. So, I found Diane's and set up an appointment. I specifically said a "boxy, Scotty cut", "carrot tail" and leave the feathers and skirt. What I picked up, for $60, was this (below). The first photo is what he looked like from a previous cut. The second, after Diane cut him. Seriously? What I got was a "Westie" body cut and a "Scotty" face cut. I never asked for a"summer cut." And, she informed me, that to do a show cut, it would cost $50 an hour, and she didn't have time. It takes a while to grow the feathers and skirt out, and he's a senior dog. Not happy - and doubt you will be either. read more
