We went back to Petco and they denied cutting him. we went to the vet, where we found out how bad the infection was, and the vet confirmed that someone attempted to stop the bleeding, which confirms they DID cut him. if you love your pet, do not bring them here. Yesterday I posted a review regarding my bad grooming experience at Petco. As you can see the buffer ground the skin off my dog's toe and part of her nail. They responded to my bad review asking me to call. The number they provided for customer service is in the Philippines and they barely speak English. I called the headquarters in San Diego as I was told the matter has been escalated. I have 2 formal complaints in, 2 escalations, and have called everyday since the incident. Still no call from headquarters. I will continue to post until someone in America returns my call. DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!! They hurt my dog and tried to hid it!! I put her in the back seat and drove straight home. There were blood spots all over my white interior. Then the grooming manager denied it happened there, asked why I didn't bring her back. So let me understand, what the grooming manager wanted was for me to put my bleeding dog back in my car and bring her back. Why? They're not vets and they have no veterinary services at this facility. I asked to see the policies and procedures for injured pets and they refused. I'm showing everyone I meet the pictures and advising not to go to petco for grooming, especially nails!!! ______________________________________________________________ UPDATE: Just wanted to note that they responded to this post with the same automated response to call the Philippines! That's not happening! Stop out sourcing your customer service centers. We want to speak to someone in the United State!!! UPDATE: I asked the store manager to see the camera footage because the Grooming Supervisor denied this happened at Petco and he said we don't let customers see the camera footage. So I must ask, why won't they allow you to see the camera footage if the grooming supervisor says it didn't happen there? It would certainly prove whether or not it did!! I usually have a great experience here. Today I went in to purchase tank mates for a betta(in a 20 gallon long) where I was told bettas cannot have tank mates. I have owned several bettas over the past five years. The specific betta I was getting tank mates for is very friendly, had shrimp and other fish in his tank and completely ignored them. I unfortunately did not get the lady's name I spoke to, but even after telling her this, she was adamant betta fish can't have tank mates. Sad to see uneducated people think they are correct, and refuse animals to those who are actually educated. No reasoning could convince her otherwise. read more

This is my favorite pet supply store in Ormond because the customer service staff is exceptional. Recently I joined the Vital Rewards program and the customer service person, Jules said downloading the app can be tricky, so she takes the time to not only sign me up but get the app on my phone working properly so I immediately start utilizing my rewards benefits. I was at the store on Wednesday around 10:00 am. I am not sure of the name of the girl who was behind the counter. I asked her the price of a Seresto collar. She said $84.00 to which I responded $84.00?! My surprise was due to the fact that all other places sell them for about $55-$60. I understand this girl has no control over prices but her attitude was awful. I left and went to the pet store down the road. The collars were $25.00 cheaper, they gave me a $10.00 off coupon and the salesgirl was friendly and helpful. That's how you get repeat customers. The one girl at Petco might not represent all the employees but because of her, the store lost a customer. read more

Customer service is horrible. Cashiers are rude & have attitude problems. We dealt with a cashier named Alyssa & we asked her to clarify on a exchange & all she did was huff & puff & acted like she hates her job because she had to explain something twice because we were confused since she wasn't explaining it well. They need to get ahold of the people that work here & teach her how to speak to customers...will never shop her again. read more

We can't say enough good things about our experience at Petco grooming salon! We have been going to Petco for eight months with our labradoodle. We are very particular with the the way we want his hair cut and Natalie takes her time to listen and do as we request. Our Pup LOVES going to the salon and that should tell you something! read more

Brand new location, a little smaller than most Petco's I have been to. Still they have a little bit of everything and this the largest pet store in Ormond. Store is very well organized and service is good. Walking around we had two different employees asked us if there's anything they can help us find. This location offers pet grooming also. I have two Huskies, a lab in and American Bulldog so no need for grooming here, however walking pass the grooming area looks very well kept and clean. They also have aquarium fish and some other small animals like birds and reptiles if you're looking for a new pet. Plus all the accessories to go with all the pets they sell. read more
