As always, NautiPets blew it out of the water with my dogs. Yes, they are the most expensive in our area. However, I don't have to worry that they will be traumatized or come home looking too "poodle". NautiPets takes very good care of my dogs. They base their prices on your dogs weight. read more

I thought I had a good groomer when I was sent here but it was a very bad experience all in all. My 7 lb. Poodle mix came home 3 times with her leg bandaged. Then was told not to bring her much because she didn't have much fur (she's old). We took it as an honest comment. However, we took our other dog (a 5 lb. Shih Tzu). When he was picked up we were told to find another groomer because, they said, he had a seizure. Well he's 10 yrs old and he has NEVER had a seizure. If he had one it was because of the groomer's mishandling. No he doesn't like his face trimmed but I could hold his face in my hand and he would let me trim even around his eyes. This was our first time at NautiPets for grooming of our three elderly rescues. Since all three of them have medical issues, several other places will not groom them. NautiPets has no problem with that and took them willingly. The staff and groomers were amazing. They took their time and made our dogs comfortable. They did a beautiful job grooming them as well. it looks like this will be our new place to come for our grooming sessions as our previous place closed. read more

we have two 2 1/2 year old Cavapoos. we have been having them groomed at Nauti Pets in Ormond for about 2 years. Every experience is wonderful. They are so accommodating with scheduling And requests. The groomers are all very skilled and gentle with our pups. Gracie and Georgie love the groomers. They are never scared or nervous because the ladies take time to greet and hold them. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We don't trust many people with our babies but we have no reservations leaving them in their care. Their facility is very clean. We bring our wheaten terrier here for grooming and we love them! My girl and I are always greeted with smiles and lovies (well I just get the smiles). They do a fabulous job grooming her just the way I ask. The store is also chock full of healthy dog food choices, treats, clothing and toys! We will never take our sweet girl anywhere else! My Mother and I brought our 2 very large breed dogs in to be shaved and have nails done. Lets just say I would NEVER bring my large dog to this place ever again. Complete lack of knowledge on how to #1 handle larger dogs, #2 not to mention how to treat this breed specific type. I pressume they are better with small dogs from the reviews which is fine but if you have a larger dog please avoid them. Our dogs came back tramatized from this experience, actually retreated into their kennels at home and didn't eat for 3 days! Acted very depressed.. and oh lets not forget they couldn't trim their nails. Pretty basic thing to do. I see another person with Huskies had similar issues so again large dogs do not bring here! Owner very unprofessional, VERY. If your going to be rude to my Mother who was 88 at the time, you totally lost all respect as a business owner and have NO business running one let alone speaking to people the way you do with your arrogant tone and couldn't be bothered to listen to what her concerns were about HER babies. read more

I have to huskies, and I had an appointment at 8:00 am yesterday for a bath and deshedding. The deshedding is the main reason I take them to a groomer as I can bath them myself at home but the deshedding is not as easy. In the past I was using a corporate place for my dogs grooming but I had met the owners of Nauti Pets through some mutual friends. They are very nice people and are involved in the community of Ormond Beach. So, we started taking our huskies there for thier grooming every 4-6 weeks. I thought why not give my $300 a month to local company that is part of our community. They had always done a good job and we were happy with them overall. One negative was it was hard to get an appointment. They are normally booked 4-5 weeks out, so you have to plan ahead for each visit. But we managed around this, and it was no big deal. Now back to my 8 am appointment yesterday. I had a handy man coming to my house at 7:30 that morning and he was late which made me run late. I got the dogs in the car and was headed to Nauti Pets and the time on my iPhone said 8:12. As I was driving, I looked up the number and was giving them a courtesy call that I was running a little late. I live 5 minutes from Nauti Pets, 4 minutes if I make the light at S Halifax and Fluhart. A girl named Tanor or Tenor answered and I told her I would be there in 4 minutes and apologized that I was a little late. The phone said 8:13 by this time. She told me that because I was past 15 minutes late that they had to cut the appointment to just a bath and they did not have time to do the deshedding (again, the deshedding was the main reason for me getting my dogs groomed). I explained to her I was literally 4 minutes away and would be there by 8:17. She told me their policy was if you are over 15 minutes late, they could change or even cancel the appointment. I told her I understood this, but I was on my way, but she was not going to budge on this policy she kept referring to. We had never been late to any of our other appointments here and in fact we are usually the people that are 10 minutes early, but she didn't want to hear any of this. In fact, she then told me she did not like the way I was talking to her, and I promise I had not raised my voice at all. I told her I was just trying to explain the math because it did not make since that if I arrived at 8:14 they would have time to do the deshedding, and because I would not arrive until 8:17 they would not. She was just unreasonable. In fact, her last words to me before hanging up on me was "we do not want your business, go find another groomer". I was shocked about this. By then I was in the parking lot, so I turned around and took my dog's home. My guess is they were already overbooked and was looking for a way to ease their overbooked schedule and saw this as an opportunity to cut some time off not expecting me to push back. I understand the reason for a policy like this as they have a schedule they try to keep, but when I drop my dogs off for grooming there and they tell me they will be done in 3 hours, and it takes them 3 hours and 30 minutes I do not get upset. I am now looking for a new dog groomer!!!!! By the way, I did call the owner and explain this situation and he was OK with the outcome. read more

The owners: Randy and his wife and daughter are there daily, and you can feel that they really care about their fur-clientele (the dogs). They sell local products (Amish made chews, harnesses & matching leashes, food, etc. They are a really nice family, who care about their business. This pet store is the best. The groomers here are Fantastic . we have been taking our dog Max here for a couple years . The owners Randy And Wendy are the very best . Friendly ,Helpful very knowledgeable about dogs and cats . They have a great selection of supplies at reasonable prices . I buy my dog treats here quite a bit cheaper than I could find them online. We moved to Ormond Beach a little over a year ago and have tried 3 other local groomers in town off of recommendations and had frankly given up on being able to have her groomed locally. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Nauti Pets in Ormond Beach! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the groomer is either a real-life dog whisperer or an angel...maybe both. We had all 3 of our babies groomed this week including my tiny fur-shark whose favorite activity is tasting humans. I literally texted people this morning asking them to say a prayer because NO ONE has been able to groom this dog in the 2+years since we rescued him but today he got a bath and full groom and no one died. No one even lost a finger. My expectations were already FAR surpassed at this point but, WAIT! There's more! The staff recommended a few foods and supplements for us to try for him because he's a frustratingly picky eater and has medicine he can't take without food. Tonight he ate dinner (and his meds!) without me having to desperately offer him 10 different things. (Insert sigh of relief here...) All 3 of our dogs are currently clean, fluffy and smell of sunshine and happiness. Stop reading this and just take your pets there. Now. Go.
