This small shop on the Appleachain trail and near bike path had a great soft serve. It was creamy and delicious.

I am absolutely spoiled now. I am so glad I came to High Lawn Farms to try their ice cream and…read moredairy products. At the same time I am so sorry I tried their ice cream and dairy products. Because now, I realize how lacking all other dairy products are. Seriously. We purchased milk from High Lawn during our stay at a local long-term let with a full kitchen. We brought home milk and ice cream. When that ran out and we returned to our regular 'store bought' milk, I was like 'what am I drinking?' You don't know how good High Lawn Farms milk is, until you don't have it any more. If I lived near here, this is the only place I would get my dairy. Now, the ice cream! So, so, so good! It's not overly sweet. The flavor is just right. Again, not over done. It's 'light'. I don't know how to explain it. I got two scoops and when I saw how much ice cream that was I thought I'd 'never be able to eat all that.' But the ice cream texture is light, not heavy. It's still creamy, but not in the same way as my local farm made ice cream is made. It's light and those two scoops were just the right amount. The store offers more than milk and ice cream by the pint. They also sell a selection of High Lawn farm cheeses and frozen cuts of beef among other things. Besides the store and the ice cream trailer, you can visit the cows and calves in the barn. There are also older calves in the field by the ice cream trailer that you can pet. They come right up to the fence looking for pets. Anyway, you can see I am a fan of High Lawn Farm. Go. Don't think about it. Go. Get the ice cream. Get the milk. Compare it to your 'regular' dairy. You'll understand.

It does get very busy in the summer. And the lines can be long. There are not a ton of flavors and they do run out. Did I mention it's worth driving an hour for? For my money better than even Artheusa (and they are delicious). Make the trip.

I'm not sure what they put in it or how they do it but I'm addicted!! I've been several times and these are the ones I've had...vanilla with strawberries, blueberries & chocolate chips, next 3 visits I had the banana cream pie with yogurt dollops topping , and this last visit I had the watermelon with fresh watermelon topping. The fruit toppings were fresh from farm, only the best! The service is phenomenal every single time that I have been here everybody has been so nice and so prompt to help every customer . The inside of the establishment is clean plenty of seats. There is also outside seating. Bathrooms were clean too! I just connected the the owners of CRUST is the same owner of AYELADA, it all makes sense as the are next door to each other and both are absolutely the best in town! These owners obviously know what they are doing! Keep up the great work!! Cheers
