Being the parents of 2 young boys aged 3 years and 16 months old, we knew there was little time to keep up with the landscaping of the large back, side and front yards of the house that our son and daughter-in-law purchased shortly before their first was born. Right at the appointed time, James Diaz came to hear our concerns about the yards, answered questions we had and made recommendations for the "deep clean" we thought it needed. He identified that we had a tree that was infected with borers (we didn't know what they were initially). We received the estimate as promised and were able to pick and choose the items we wanted easily. I talked most often with Alexia who was always professional, friendly and helpful. When the work was scheduled, they arrived on the days and times as expected. Alexia regularly communicated to advise of their anticipated arrival. I was able to be at home when the landscape workers were there and saw how efficiently and thorough they were in the removal of weeds, removal of the infected tree, trimming of all our shrubs, removal of the old mulch and the laying down of the new compost in our backyard. Diaz Landscaping in Rio Rancho, New Mexico sent three of their amazing staff laborers to tackle my landscaping project and they literally transformed my front yard and courtyard that was overidden with weeds, cacti and tree sprouts into the neat, xeriscaped envy of my street that it is now. I had three extremely heavy milling stones they manually moved into the courtyard from the curbside and placed in a triad presentation within view for me to enjoy from my porch. They suggested I place some existing flagstone as a walking path into my back yard and flagstone pieces where the roof dumps water to the ground, to avoid erosion. In early and mid-September this year (2018), DIAZ Landscaping Management came out to my home, gave me an estimate, and, after I decided to contract with them, repaired the recurring erosion problems that kept afflicting my yards, front and back. This was what I had to do because the previous, original landscape architect firm, who installed my backyard had unsuccessfully repaired and thus failed to resolve; it was only able to temporarily remedy but still charged me very costly fees to "try" to resolve the first repair attempt; that company would not stand behind the repair steps that they implemented. With DIAZ Landscaping, its owner, James assured me that IF there are any subsequent erosion problems, that DIAZ Landscaping company will come out and correct that for not extra cost. With the recurring erosion problems as a result of the series of three or four strong, torrential rains that occurred this summer, I had a number of significant erosion areas in both my front and backyards that frustrated me in the several thousand dollars that I spent thinking that those erosion issues would be permanently resolved. Initially, I wanted to stay with the landscape company that I had hired to install my backyard, but after several repeated but ultimately unsuccessful attempts and, as I previously mentioned, at great expense to my savings account, I was forced to do some research and found DIAZ Landscaping Management. I am grateful to James and his DIAZ Landscaping crew for taking care of addressing and resolving the landscape erosion that repeatedly occurred to my front and backyards this spring and summer.
