Miss Angie ,the ownerand lisa shattered her dreams by telling her 4 months prior to her team performance that my daughter would not be ready using all kinds of excuses that she may' freeze up',or her epilepsy would be a factor..if you ask me,this was descrimination!! her epilepsy never stopped her for the 5 yaers of recitals on stage she never froze up...Angie continued to tell me if I paid for private lessons that my daugter would be able to perform the team dances so I paid for privates $50 a shot on top of $125 a month plus the owner had me buy a team jacket and all the costumes costing me over $300 just for costumes..and then continued to tell us after paying for privates that my daugghter could sit and watch from the sidelines and watch as her team performed,,my daughter did not understand why she did so much hard work just to have to watch and not participate..every child should have a chance,not to mention ,my girl was one of the best dancers in the team..Angie kicked my daughter out of her class and is refusing to refund me ,knowing we are so late into the year that my daughter will not find a studio and be able to perform a recital..all i'm asking for is a refund for the 5 months ,a refund for all costumes and team jacket..Angie says she is sending me the costumes..what the hek good are they if we are not in her studio anymore!!! I am being harrassed by the studio owner ..I have a police report stating that all I am asking for is a refund. !we found the most wonderful new dance acadamy ...everything happens for a reason,we were blessed by the new studio taking my daughter and assuring her not to worry,she will catch up even thogh the others are 6 months ahead of her ...
