Not only is the owner and staff compassionate and dedicated, they also know how to teach. The girls do not play for an hour (like at many dance studios) - they learn to dance. Every Christmas and birthday- all my girls want is for me to allow them to take another dance class the following year. They absolutely loved that they are challenged, that they are encouraged and that they have to work together with their team mates. The recital is amazing (and so am someone who hates sitting through things like that) and it's only every other year.

Arrived for normal pick up days sometimes to observe college age interns as the only supervision on site, sitting at picnic tables, sunning, while the children were at least 50 yards away arguing over some toy. These staff were not actually actively engaged and only engaged when they felt discipline was necessary. I think I observed one episode of guided creative play while my child attended (about 6~ weeks). Any other parents have similar experiences here?

My son did well at the preschool program for almost a year and a half. He has some…read moremedical/behavioral issues which they were beyond helpful about working with him to address. As with most preschool/daycare programs, there is a mix of kids of varying ability levels and backgrounds. There is also a mix of younger and older staff. They are all adults with the younger ones typically in college for education/child development. I found the management was very open to feedback and questions about my child or the program/staff. All daycares/preschools have their staff/program quirks, but I always felt good about leaving my son in their care. I found them to be the most responsive child care providers out of all the ones I've tried over the years for either of my kids. I also found that they were the most honest and conscientious of any place I've been about keeping staffing ratios and safety measures in compliance. I found them very responsive, even proactive, and willing to work with me on anything. The summer camp experience is a little different from the school year program, but they are always making changes to improve the program. They genuinely care about the kids. You can tell some places are all about the money and don't care about the quality or improving programming. Because of the setting of the school, the kids are able to have some really great experiences that they won't get in almost any other daycare/school setting. Both of my kids rave about Channel 3 kids camp. My son has many fond memories of his preschool time.

I purchased the general admission ticket ($16.95) plus a pre-loaded $16 game bracelet for $26.95. Shoes are not allowed so socks are recommended. There was a snack area and tables for the parents. Restrooms were clean and had changing tables. The arcade area was small with an air hockey table, photo booth, and various arcade games. My toddler loved the dinosaur egg machine; there were toys inside those golden eggs. The playground has two levels and they were soft on the feet. The slides were steep but my son loved it; I can see why there's a disclaimer that it goes fast. There was an indoor go-kart track that my son also loved riding the little go-karts on; it went around the playscape. There were large Legos, blocks, a ball pit, a mini donut shop, ride on toy cars, and grocery store. We spent an hour and a half there and my son still didn't want to leave. My other son is a crawler, he still enjoyed the toys at the mini stores and the ride on cars. Overall it was 5 stars for my children and I; we look forward to going back and highly recommend it for kids 10 and under.
