He was upfront and honest about the reasons they canceled: Covid-19 and a crew accident left them short-handed, and he also confirmed there were safety concerns with North Minneapolis (interesting their staff was on their way when they canceled...seems those safety concerns were more the issue than being short handed). I offered to reschedule so the chaos could cool off and he said he would only reschedule if I agreed to take down my reviews - I told him I'd absolutely modify my reviews if he assured me that the blatant lying of his employee was addressed. I have not heard back in over a week. Do with this what you will, but I will not be working with them in the future. Please note that I was fully refunded.* I do not recommend - this company red zones areas they don't want to work in, then will lie to your face about it and hang up on you if you express your opinion on their behavior. Don't support them; take your business to a company that respects the community they serve and has more than a modicum of ethics. BEAST Wildlife Solutions canceled an appointment for attic inspection that had been paid for and on the books for a month. I received the cancelation call after getting a call from their inspector, and within 30 minutes of the inspector's supposed arrival time. They offered two excuses. The first was that "we've been considering a policy for several months to not do work in your zip code, as the homes are too old and require too much work to address wildlife issues." The second was "we didn't realize where you were located when we made the appointment." Both of these are at very best partial truths, if not flat out lies. They knew exactly where I was located when they scheduled the appointment AND when they took my credit card information for payment - they even looked up work they'd done for my neighbor (and told me exactly how much my neighbor had spent on their services..which seemed questionable at the time). This is blatant zip code discrimination, likely due to the tragedies experienced in my community over the last week associated with the George Floyd protests. Let me clarify: I don't believe they've done anything illegal. But, they absolutely are willing to lie to you and will do it with a smile on their face. In my opinion, businesses that discriminate blatantly do not belong in our city. Hopefully this review pushes a few paying customers (all would be awesome!) to more ethical, responsible, and worthwhile options.

We hired Tim in August of 2015 to remove bats from our home and keep them out. He guaranteed we…read morewould not have bats for 2 years. He did the exclusions and the sealing up of potential entry points. Jump ahead to the next bat season this summer (2016), and we still have bats. We called Tim and he came back out and he double checked all the possible entry points and said he didn't know how they were getting in, but he also "re-sealed" potential possibilities.  A few weeks later and we still have bats. I asked Tim that since he'd admitted to not knowing how they are getting in and that he had "sealed everything possible" (his words) that I would like a refund. Tim became vulgar and has refused to refund me my money.  He claims he has two years to fix the problem. Which as we all know, is not how warranties work. I have pleaded with him to reconsider. I have 4 kids living here in this house infested with bats and I can't wait any longer. We have to hire a different company now and we are out the $750 we paid to Preffered Wildlife Solutions. Save yourself the money and headache and go with a different pest control company.

We had one bat in our house and Tim came out. It was during the day and he therefore didn't find it…read more(which is reasonable). He then said he could bat-proof the house as he said there was a colony with 15-20 living in my attic. He said there were all sorts of areas in my house they could come in. I agreed to pay him over $900 to bat-proof; which included "exclude bats" and seal up various areas. He was there for less than 2 hours; including 45 minutes of just going through the house to try and find the bat; so approximately one hour of "bat-proofing" that included some caulking on my roof and adding some plastic mesh. He never went into the attic and never identified any evidence of the "colony". Contrary to what he told me on the phone, he never installed a bat door for the bats to escape. He also stated that if I didn't choose to go with him that day, it would be months before he could come back (should have been a clear red flag to steer clear). I feel that he was not trustworthy and would recommend using another vendor. That night, I was able to get the bat out of my house.
