*Update: The general manager contacted me soon after this encounter. He was upfront and honest about the reasons they canceled: Covid-19 and a crew accident left them short-handed, and he also confirmed there were safety concerns with North Minneapolis (interesting their staff was on their way when they canceled...seems those safety concerns were more the issue than being short handed). I offered to reschedule so the chaos could cool off and he said he would only reschedule if I agreed to take down my reviews - I told him I'd absolutely modify my reviews if he assured me that the blatant lying of his employee was addressed. I have not heard back in over a week. Do with this what you will, but I will not be working with them in the future. Please note that I was fully refunded.* I do not recommend - this company red zones areas they don't want to work in, then will lie to your face about it and hang up on you if you express your opinion on their behavior. Don't support them; take your business to a company that respects the community they serve and has more than a modicum of ethics. BEAST Wildlife Solutions canceled an appointment for attic inspection that had been paid for and on the books for a month. I received the cancelation call after getting a call from their inspector, and within 30 minutes of the inspector's supposed arrival time. They offered two excuses. The first was that "we've been considering a policy for several months to not do work in your zip code, as the homes are too old and require too much work to address wildlife issues." The second was "we didn't realize where you were located when we made the appointment." Both of these are at very best partial truths, if not flat out lies. They knew exactly where I was located when they scheduled the appointment AND when they took my credit card information for payment - they even looked up work they'd done for my neighbor (and told me exactly how much my neighbor had spent on their services..which seemed questionable at the time). This is blatant zip code discrimination, likely due to the tragedies experienced in my community over the last week associated with the George Floyd protests. Let me clarify: I don't believe they've done anything illegal. But, they absolutely are willing to lie to you and will do it with a smile on their face. In my opinion, businesses that discriminate blatantly do not belong in our city. Hopefully this review pushes a few paying customers (all would be awesome!) to more ethical, responsible, and worthwhile options. read more

I called Beast on 3/11/21. I was told there was a chance that Rory would be able to come out in the afternoon. Rory called at 3 and said it got too late for him to come out and preform any service so we set up an appointment for 3/16/21. Rory called that day to cancel the appointment due to weather. I said, What weather? It is a beautiful day! ( It had snowed an inch in Blaine the day before but it had already melted all around the house. Rory said he would not do business with me due to the fact that I questioned his decisions. So I tried calling the office. I was told that Keith was the manager. I asked to talk to Keith . The receptionist said there was no way I could talk to Keith and that she would relay my message to him. My experience with Beast was all BAD! read more

We could not have been more pleased with BEAST Wildlife Solutions! We had a squirrel that made it's way into our basement and Matt came by the same day to set some traps and help us figure out where it might have come in from. Within 24 hours of the first call we made, the squirrel was caught and Matt came to grab it. We hope to never need to use their services again, but will recommend them to any and all who do! BEAST is the best!!! Well, really, it's the ONLY squirrel-removal company I've worked with. But, they did such an amazing job, it's the only one I will EVER work with. My DIY husband removed squirrels from our ceiling/roof twice in 5 years, and when they came back AGAIN, I decided to hire professionals. These squirrels proved themselves to be extra tenacious. Nick has been out to reset traps and add defenses 1-2 times per week for almost 2 months. He's had the company owner out to consult. These squirrels seemed unstoppable. But, Nick never gave up, and it's now been over a week with NO SIGNS of squirrel activity. WHEW! The best part? The company charges PER JOB, not per visit, which would've cost us a fortune by now. I cannot recommend BEAST highly enough. read more

Beast Co. Wildlife solutions is fantastic. Keith repaired the woodpecker damage to my house and ensured the repair material matched our existing trim. He also installed two sun and wind activated deterrents to keep the woodpeckers away. They work very well. Keith also made a return visit to my house to adjust the position of the deterrents. I would recommend Beast Co. because of their wildlife knowledge, problem solving abilities, and great customer service. read more

Poor communication with the office, we had to call many times to get the work completed, when we had already paid the invoice. Initially, the service was great - they scheduled promptly for the initial assessment for squirrels in our home. However, once we paid for the service, that is when my expectations were not met. I had to call and have them come back after initially setting traps - they did not set the correct amount of traps to which we had paid for. Then, I had to call 3 times over the course of two weeks to ask that they come back to remove the traps and complete the exclusion work. it ended up taking them more than 3 weeks to come back after originally setting traps. As a customer, I do not expect that I have to do all the follow up to ensure work is completed, this was really disappointing. Each time I called to ask when they would complete the work we had paid for, the office stated that "we aren't out in your area very often" like it was an inconvenience on them. They willingly gave us a quote and took our money, so it's not my problem if my house is out of the way for them to service. I live in Minnetonka, should not be an issue to complete service in the metro area. Our technician that we worked with was great - thorough, great communication and took a lot of time to talk through our options. I cannot recommend the company though, due to poor customer service. read more
