They are only closed 5 days a year. Cliff, the eldest of the RSOs is one of the kindest people I know. Even after having been deployed for many months, he would always welcome me back and tell me it was good to see me again, never asking questions about where or why I was gone so long. The newest part is the Cobalt Firearms Instruction team. Once again, superior quality people that, contrary to some of these low rating posts, really do give a darn about making sure their clients are well informed, well armed, and well schooled. I've the opportunity on several occasions to go back to the gunsmith area. Dave is an icon in the gunsmithing industry. The best in the business. But don't get mad if you bring in a rifle with a plugged barrel because you tried to fire a 308 through a 270 barrel. You're going to get a bit of schooling--and you deserve it. Now several of the negative posts mentioned ammo costs. Clark Brothers owns an outdoor range on one of the busiest highways in Virginia, less than 100 yards from the road that anyone can come and shoot, rent weapons and have a great time. The only condition is that you buy the ammunition there. If you think it's too expensive, drive to another gun shop, buy your ammo, and stand in the parking lot admiring yourself. The price of their ammo is not, I repeat not, overpriced, or people would go elsewhere. And finally, if you've ever spent time there you would know that there are many people who stop in the place more than several times per week. Why? Easy, good conversation, a little banter, and a constant turnover/supply of guns. Why is this important? Because people come in to sell their guns, or the guns if a lived one recently passed, and they are treated fairly, honestly and given multiple options with no pressure. Consequently, there are the old guard, ever present gun enthusiasts who are looking for their latest acquisition. Think of it as cheers without beer, but guns. I even saw them bring a chair out from their back rooms for an elderly gentleman to sit in while his paperwork processed. Go to Green Too and wait for a chair if you don't like the price of ammo. I'm headed back overseas soon. But I know when I get back Clark brothers will still be there and I'll be firing my hand cannons once again. VR

The associate seemed entirely focused on what appeared to be a cordial conversation that bordered on business albeit with a convivial flair. After an inordinate wait another employee from halfway across the sales floor came to my aid and actually apologized. Not so much for her colleague but for my patience. I do not fault G. O. P for this but the singular culprit of what I feel is shoddy treatment of a customer.
