We stopped into Dick's Sporting Goods in search of stadium chairs and the experience was seamless. Right when we walked in, we were greeted warmly by an associate who happily pointed me to the restroom. It's refreshing to meet employees who are not only friendly but genuinely knowledgeable, definitely made navigating the store so much easier. For anyone entering from the east side, you'll head up the escalator, turn right twice, and walk straight toward the northeast corner of the second floor to find the restrooms. The women's restroom was clean, had three stalls, including a handicap-accessible one, and was easy to locate thanks to the clear directions. The store itself is well organized, and the stadium-chair section was conveniently located near the restrooms. We found a great variety of stadium chairs, from large cushioned options around $60 to several other sizes and styles to fit different needs. The selection and pricing felt fair for the quality. Dick's offers a rewards program and fortunately we also had a coupon for $10 off of $40 purchase, saving while spending makes me happy. read more

Some of the people that work at that store act they do not want to help a person w/ a physical handicap. (that me) I asked if they have a certain type of shoe. He look it up on the store's iPhone He told me they do not have that kind in stock. Something told me not to leave the store. I found the shoe on a display. I asked another employee that was working in the same area. He looked it up. Well well they had a size 9 1/2 and a size 10. I told the associate his coworker tried to look at that on his phone and told me they did not have any. I think he was acting up (lying to me) I did not put back the shoe on display. read more

Went to this location to find new tennis shoes. No staff members were nearby to help us. But, they have a new kiosk that when you scan the shoes should be able to bring them out for you to try on. But, for nontech savvy it would be great if they are visible so they can help the customers. read more

Sports such as baseball, basketball, bikes & cycling, boating, bowling, boxing, cheerleading, climbing, cricket, exercise, field hockey, fishing, football, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, hunting, ice skating, lacrosse, rugby, running, skating, snow sports, soccer, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track & field, volleyball, wrestling, and yoga. For me, this is a good place to buy high end long underwear. The garments are sometimes rated by temperature which is a good thing. They carry Columbia brand. I bought the Omni-Heat style and they work very well. I previously purchased a pair of Patagonia brand from another store. The Patagonias are very high end providing warmth while staying light in the thickness of the material. But the Columbias are even lighter and are rated for sub zero temperatures. You don't get too hot wearing them indoors either like with the old style long underwear. read more

Wonderful store. Went in looking for a new Golf driver skeptical i would actually purchase anything. Not only did i get a driver but the young man in charge of the area fitted me with a good Driver Shaft and Head by ping and i am very satisfied with the customer service. I came here to buy a fishing license. The second the man heard me say it, he instantly started to shake his head. "Sorry, our computer is down." This makes the 3rd year now that this Dick's has been saying this. 3 years???? Like, if it doesn't work, then fix it. Three o'clock on a Wednesday, not one person offered to help me and no one to be found. In the store over a hour finding sizes and items needed for a trip with a toddler. Customer service=zero. No self scanners for price checks in a slew of coats upstairs with no indication of what is on sale and regular price in a non clearance section. Found a jacket hence the second star but paid full price even though it was in a section with 50% off North Face jackets. Didn't argue with cashier since the checkout line was long and I was over my experience and just wanted to get out of there. No wonder why stores near the mall are disappearing. read more

After reading previous reviews complaining about low light in the dirty dressing rooms with no hooks and sun glare on the escalator, I was amazed to see that the dressing rooms are now located on he escalators. Plenty of light now but still no hooks. read more

I came here to buy some sportswear, but left disappointed. After walking around searching for an employee to unlock a dressing room for me, which took awhile, the first room was pretty dark (the light was out) and there weren't any hooks on the wall to hang anything; seriously, not one. Since I planned to try on several items, that wasn't very convenient. I asked to be moved to a different dressing room, but the lights were burned out in the next two we tried as well. So, I headed down to the first floor to see if I'd have any better luck. The dressing room there did have a single hook and the light worked, but the carpet was filthy and there was trash all over the floor. The employee who let me in had to see it but didn't do anything about it. Overall, not a great shopping experience and I probably won't go back. read more

This store is enormous, and has an appropriate selection. I usually buy camping supplies here. Their prices are decent. My only complaint about the store, is that when riding the escalator to the second floor in the afternoon, the sun is blinding. They really need to either tint the windows or move the sun-glasses to the top of the escalator (might help sales!). read more

Terrible shoe department. Today went in with my 2 kids to get tennis shoes and a pair of baseball cleats. I asked to have their feet measured for tennis shoes and cleats. The person working recommended trying on different pairs of cleats for size as they vary between manufacturers. Got it. But I need a starting spot and need tennis shoes for both of them as well (and they are kept in the back). He still refused to measure them. Wow. When I walked away he tried to cal me back. I'm done. Will take my business elsewhere where the folks that fit and size shoes are willing to help. read more

I've put off writing this a few times, but I'm not going to any longer. There have been no fewer than FOUR occasions in which items I have purchased at this Dick's rang up around $20 more at the register than the price on the shelf. I was confused the first time, shrugged it off as a strange coincidence the second time, became suspicious after the third time, and am now certain of some underhanded business practices here. I suspect that this is store policy on many items, and that it is done with the hopes that the consumer will not notice the price difference (especially when buying multiple items). What makes me even more suspicious is that each time I have pointed out the difference in price to the cashier, they simply take my word for it and adjust the price at the register. Nobody goes to check the price on the shelf, and a manager's override doesn't even seem to be necessary for the cashier to fix the mistake. read more

My son wanted a pair of Nike Huaraches, so off to Dick's we go. We passed 3 staff members on our way in, all gathered near the checkout counter "chatting it up". Made our way to shoes and he quickly found a pair that he wanted to try on. Easy to find the shoes but not so easy to find help. After 10 minutes waiting, we simply made our way in to the mall and purchased a pair from Finish Line. Finish Line had a better selection and lower prices to boot!
