Wow! I went into the mall yesterday for the first time in 2 months to get my daughter cleats for soccer ! There are hardly any options for girls. None. They were all designed for boys! Sexist !! No teenage girl wants to wear bright yellow-green cleats! Not one pair of simple white ones! Not on worker came up to us to help so there hardly was any service ! I would say something about the value and prices but I wouldn't know because all of the products were hideous !! They had maybe 10 running shoes for girls as well. IT IS 2024. I needed a toddler racket, and searched online for a deal. Found a Prince at Dick's for $19.99, which was great! Dick's KoP had it in stock for store pick-up, same day. I bought it online, and got a notification it was ready in under 10 minutes! I have a Prince for myself and I love it. While my pricey adult version is probably better quality, I trust the brand to support my kid. I was really impressed that Dick's had this racket for $19.99 while competitors had it for more than double that price. Yeah, sometimes brands dumb down a product for big box stores, but this model was named on lists of the top rackets for kids, so I'm happy with it. Looks and feels nice too. Pick-up at KoP was simple and quick. The racket is a hit! Love the small racquetball style handle for my little one. He is tall for his age (95th percentile), and he was on the verge of the 19" or the 21" but Prince's handle got longer on the 21, so I went for the 19. I think this will small hands maneuver and control swing better. Dick's has EVERY size option available, though, so you have the luxury of deciding. I've known a lot of dicks in my life, but the people at Dick's aren't dicks. The one dick thing was pick up location. They stated "Primark entrance" but they have multiple Primark entrances and upon calling, they said it's the one by Yard House. So that was negative a star. read more

I stopped in Dick's in KOP on July 23rd of 2024 because my son was in search of a bike for work. Three associates were very patient and informative about the bike financing and Ashley the cashier helped my son apply. The manager also gave us some info about financing and the associate in the bike section was very helpful. read more

Prices are very high. Getting assistance is painful. Selection very poor. If you do buy ammunition they require ID. If you buy a firearm you can't carry it out of the store. The clerk must carry it to the outside entrance for you and watch you put it in your car. They treat you like a 5 year old. I placed an order for online pick-up, thinking that I would be able to swing by during my lunch break and quickly get in and out. While walking into the store, there were no signs for the pickup location, but I thought it might be at the far exit to the parking lot. I was correct and the machine was easy enough to use. You scan your barcode from your phone and someone gets your item. I think... Minutes went by and no one was in sight. Eventually some guy walked over to me and was able to assist, but over eight minutes have already passed. Once I had my items, I walked out of the store as other people were walking in. The alarms went off, but I genuinely felt that it wasn't me and were these other people. Once I got home, I realized a security tag was on my clothing. Not wanting to go back to this location, because I didn't think they would know how to remove the tag, I decided to take this project on myself. Let's just say this location is worthy of one star, but I'll give it two for the fun I had removing the tag. Boxers too... Who puts a security tag on boxers? Someone opened my underwear bag to add a security tag to one of those pairs... I actually think I should just return these and get an untouched pair... read more

Took a trip to Dicks in King of Prussia with the family and meet the most knowledgeable and dedicated worker named Gourdie who helped us with purchasing products for our gym. The floor space was fantastic as well as all the products were visible. You can try out all the equipment. read more

I'm not normally a fan of Dick's sporting goods, because I feel most of their equipment is mediocre at best and you can rarely get a sales representative who actually knows anything in detail about the particular activity in which you might be interested. This location in the mall is large and well stocked. We were just passing through, and happened to see some college logo gear which is not available where we live in Maryland, so we took advantage of the opportunity. So kind, my daughter had practice and we thought Dick's opened at 9; but that was online curbside - the actual store opened at 10. So when we got there, there was a very kind employee in the parking lot who helped; he called inside and the person in the store was able to get us the mouthguard for my daughter's practice. She would not have been able to play without this kind man's actions. Being a single parent is hard, but Dick's made it easy! read more

They have what you need most of the time but damn, don't ever ask for help. Literally waited for 20 minutes for someone to come to the girl's lacrosse section to answer a question. When you do find someone to help you, take their advice with a grain or palm full of salt. I had a sales associate tell me that no one uses girls lacrosse sticks anymore because the boy's sticks are better. Well first off, they are different sports, and if you buy a stick for boys to play girls lacrosse that would not be a legal stick to play with. The boys pocket is crucial to their sport but it is exactly why it's not legal for girls to use. Ugh... its okay to say "I don't know". read more

Every time I go to Dicks, I expect something different. And every time I am disappointed that it's not. There are 4-5 employees in the shoe department, standing around shooting the S-, not looking to help ANYONE. They act as if they could not care any less about helping customers. So I leave without purchasing anything I want. Not going to fool myself any longer, will be shopping elsewhere for my sporting goods. Management needs to reevaluate their goals . First impressions are big. I came in here on my own to look for a gift for my husband. I went into the golf dpt and wandered a bit. I expected to be approached by either of the sales guy. Nope! The only time they asked "how ya doin?" Was to the 2 couples that passed by. I even was staring at a few things and nothing. Seriously?! Just gonna stand there and talk to each other? This store seemed to have better inventory then most. The challenge is they stock very little to no youth female clothing. 45% of inventory does not match signage. Nike mixed with Under Armor etc. Inventory in store needs some TLC and organization. Staff on floor were not very friendly. Staff member at checkout was eating. Returning without a receipt is not a friendly process at this location. Corporate should visit this store. I just recently went to Dick's sporting good to purchase some golf clubs for myself. I came in around 8:00 PM when the store closes at 9:30 PM. I know that it is closer to closing time but I do not believe that it warranted how the store associate treated a potential customer. I went in and wanted to try a few of the golf clubs before purchasing such a significant purchase. But unfortunately the golf associate said that he did not want to fire up the golf simulator so I could hit a few balls. He asked if I was a serious customer and I honestly was ready to purchase if I felt like there was a good fit. I even came with my golf shoes on. Because he didn't even want to turn on a computer for me it really turned me off in purchasing something from the store. So I recommend that you go down the road to somewhere that will appreciate your business and put in a little bit of effort to get your business. TERRIBLE!! Customer service, especially in the shoe department, was awful! Employees were standing there talking. When I asked for help, one mumbled to me and didn't even show me where the shoes were - I had to ASK him to show me where they were. We left and made our purchases elsewhere. When we were leaving the mall (through Dick's), the employees in the shoe department sounded like they were having a party! They were even standing on the benches. I went into the store looking to buy a new hat and gloves on a trip to the mall with some friends. Almost immediately after entering the store an employee (I assumed to be a manager) approached us and asked if our parents were with us and we said no. He said because we weren't adults we aren't aloud to be in the store without one and he told us to leave. I said I was looking to buy something and he pointed me to where it was and walked away without apologizing for his rude treatment to customers. Dick's had been my go to sports store but at least now the King of Prussia one is not on my last of places to shop. We were treated unkindly and like second class people. My friends and I weren't even looking like teenage hooligans we were dressed nicely in dress shirts and khakis as we had just been out to dinner.
