Chances are they're going to have what you're looking for, and more than likely in stock. There are other outdoor lifestyle chains out there, but none that measure up to the outdoor/wilderness environment that Cabela's has. From its rustic, natural(ish) décor to the outdoor displays to wildlife exhibits, you really do get that "I feel like I'm out in the woods" vibe. While I've always been a fan of Cabela's, this summer we found that they carry my absolute favorite line of bird seed. I'm a birder and feed 6 to 8 different types of feed in my back year nearly year round, and the fact that they have my favorite brand (Harvest brand bird feeds), but A) in multiple varieties and 2) IN STOCK immediately made this my go-to place when I need bird seed. We used to have to visit 3 or more retail outlets to find what I needed, but not any more. The staff has been mostly cool when we've visited. One time we had a cashier named John (as I recall) who didn't care that we were there or not...we were obviously interrupting whatever he was doing on his phone. Everyone else we've encountered has been awesome.

What I found was the available items were bigger ticket items (weight machines and full sets, treadmills, ellipticals, row machines). These are items that take up a lot of space. I was surprised by the number of smaller, new items, and it provides a great customer experience for shoppers. No need to drive to a big box store. They have an entire wall of shoes for every type of sport. This store provides a great variety - and I can't think of a sport missed. It was nice to see people enjoying their niche area, from a family with a son doing baseball and a young adult looking at golf clubs. Seeing all the options and accessories reminds me of the commitment people make when playing sports. We were greeted right away and allowed to browse without pressure. If you have an athlete in your life, put this store on your list to shop and support. Local business. This store shares space with other businesses. Plenty of parking to get in and out.

In some ways I felt it was similar to Dicks and in others Bass and Pro Shop based on the variety of departments. While I'm not a person that is an expert on other workout clothing brands, I'd consider Academy's apparel based on core offerings and sales racks. They have men's , women's and youth sizing. Service was good for our return and purchase. No waiting for assistance. I also noticed buttons around the departments to press for assistance. Prices are comparable, and at times better, than competitors.

I call and speak with a lady, I asked if I would be notivied when my order was ready and her response was "Oh no we don't, you just have to call and check".
