I genuinely enjoy shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods, including this location--so why the one-star review? Because as a golfer, I absolutely dread visiting the golf department. There is a thin woman with a raspy voice who works in (or manages) that department, and every interaction with her is unpleasant. She's consistently rude, dismissive, and acts as if any basic question is an interruption. If she's folding clothes and you ask for help, she reacts as though you're inconveniencing her. On multiple visits, I've asked about a single club regrip while I shop, and she responds with visible annoyance and a rundown of how busy she supposedly is--only for me to return 10 minutes later and find her chatting with coworkers. I've had other Dicks employees regrip a club for me in less than 10 minutes. She is, frankly, a terrible representative for Dick's Sporting Goods, and her attitude is the primary reason I will not be returning to this store. read more

Waited over 20min to get a simple golf club box. She was in the driving simulator with a single customer, while 3 of us waited for her to even acknowledge us. Never did get to ask about getting a box to mail 1 club back to PING for repair.. I the dude hitting on the indoor range bought 3 full sets, cause I can't see that I'll EVER go back in that store. We purchased a bicycle back in July for my son's birthday and for the first time I bought a protection plan. He had a flat tire and I called the service number to find out about the next steps. it was super easy, the call center agent was very friendly and professional and everything was handled hassle free within minutes. Do not go here, was checking out and the dark complexed scrawny looking guy that was working the cash register at about 8:15 on Thursday night was outrageously rude. His manager was also right across from him and don't even say anything about the way he spoke to me. If I could give zero stars, I WOULD! There was a very poor selection in the store. The people there that were helping us all acted like they hated their jobs. Very rude and disrespectful. When checking out, we were greeted VERY rudely by a scrawny guy, my brother barely stepped behind the cash register to look at something and he starts shouting " Don't get in my space, this is my space." VERY great way to lose our business. He could have said nicely " Can you please not step back here, it's only for cashiers." And we would have understood. What's the point in price matching if you aren't willing to price match other major box stores when they have a sale? Tried to buy a sleeping bag that REI had discounted $50 but the dicks cashier refused to lower the price of their sleeping bag because it was "on sale at REI and not the normal advertised price." My wife and I went to look at Kayaks etc. We met Michelle at first & then Steve. Michelle was really great and really knew a lot. They were both very friendly, professional and just nice to talk to. We learned a lot from them. These folks go out of their way to really help people. We purchased the perfect Kayak for my wife. The store is awesome, well stocked with almost anything sports related. Another thing we noticed, they keep it clean! We recommend this place to anyone! We came back the very next day and purchased a second Kayak. I went into Dick's Sporting Goods on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 14 & 15) this week, and I had the most personable, helpful, informative, friendly, smiling cashier I've ever had in a department store. Robin topped off the most pleasant, informative purchasing experience I've ever had. If you need Anything having to do with sports, you Must patronize this organization. The employees are knowledgeable about their department more so than any other place I've shopped. Hunter talked to us about bicycles, and Santana/Savannah (can't quite remember her name at the moment) advised us on apparel and shoes. You have all these department store "experts" all under one roof! Then, we took our purchases to the register and met Robin, and she explained their Rewards Card/Frequent Buyers Club and answered all our questions--You do nothing except give them your telephone number, and they give you money back! Who doesn't love that? Eventhough they were super busy, Robin made us feel like we were the only important ones in the store, and they checked out customers in a snap!!! We had such a pleasant visit, we shopped 2 days in a row. Could you bottle up this customer service formula and sell it to others? I'll invest...I would Love to retire at 40!!! read more
